Personas Chapter 8Ziggy inspected his reflection as best he could in the grubby lavatory mirror. He attempted to rub away the red lipstick smudges around his mouth, tutting irritably. The flame colored spikes of his fringe were sticking up in a disorderly manner around his gaunt face. Beside him, his copper haired Anthean was shuddering against the cubical wall, his ghostly body aglow with stinging love bites. His blond fringe was glued to his damp forehead, and his razor lips were ever so slightly swollen. He watched Ziggy comb his fingers through his unruly hair, the pick up his jacket from the floor. Finally, Tommy spoke.
"I must be very convenient for you." He whispered bitterly. The pale Martian turned to the Anthean, smirking slightly as he slid into his jacket.
"You're easy, Newton." He said simply. That stung Tommy worst than the love bites down his neck, and across his chest.
"I suppose Jareth isn't easy." He said, his voice cracking as he spoke. "I bet the great Ziggy Stardust couldn't seduce
Personas.....Ziggy sat outside Benson's Coffee shop, drumming his manicured nails on the glass table top impatiently, staring intently at his phone.David was always telling the Martian not to over dress for unimportant outings, but Ziggy was not the sort to take 'no' for an answer. He stood out proudly in the greyness of the afternoon, in a silver open chested shirt, a pair of black flared jeans lined with sequins, and a navy blue bomber jacket with high, pointed collar. His carrot colored hair was spiked up at the top with a large amount of hairspray, before sliding down to frame his gaunt, pale face, coated with a little too much makeup.Personas.....3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Beside Ziggy sat Hunky dory in a long floral dress, his long mousy hair brushing his high cheekbones. He watched a growingly tense Ziggy out of the corner of his eye, nervously sipping a latte. Across from Dory sat Tommy, pulling his jacket round his slight frame as he shivered in the autumn breeze. A paper back science book full of complicated diagram

The car park at the airport was overcrowded with men, women and children of every race. The air was filled with the sound of arguing, babies cries, and foreign languages from French to Chinese spoken very loudly. If the masses of people had not been so busy shouting and jostling each other, they would have thought it most unusual that a barn owl had been watching them from the top of a lamppost, in broad daylight. And yet, there it was, with its feathered chest puffed out arrogantly, scanning the car park with its mismatched eyes. A chilly breeze ruffled the magnificent bird's fawn feathers as he waited intently for a particular car. Suddenly, a silver glint caught the owl's eye, he spotted the silver Mercedes pulling into the over run stretch of tarmac. The barn owl only had to spot the bright mess of red hair through the window on the passenger side, and he knew this was the car he had been waiting for. After briefly smoothing out his crumpled fea
Personas Chapter 2David poured himself another cup of tea from the still heated kettle on the marble counter. He could hear faint voices from behind the living room door, Sir Roland had insisted on no interruptions while he was reviewing some film. David had sworn on Ziggy's life that he would let no one enter the living room until the film was over.Personas Chapter 23 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Screamin' Lord Byron sat at the dinning table, his forehead resting on the cool wood, moaning dramatically. He did not want anyone to make a fuss over him, but he was making such a song and dance over his 'little headache' that he reminded David somewhat, of some sickly Victorian poet. The Diamond dog sat beneath the counter, munching away at some scraps of leftover chicken from last nights roast.
David strolled over to the table and set his cup down.
"Are you sure there's nothing I can get you Mr Screamin'?" Lord Byron lifted his head momentarily, leaving a white smudge on the table from his bright stage makeup.
"No thank you David." He whispered pathetica
The Price To Pay Duke looked around the car, the lights off and the car speeding down the highway, and blinked rapidly. Rubbing the tip of his nose, he sniffed and leaned forward. The Price To Pay3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"How far are we?" He rasped, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose.
Major Celliers looked back at the miserable man in tow and gently smiled, feeling bad for him. "Not much longer," He said, trying to seem cheery.
Duke looked up at the blonde. "Thanks for driving me...I couldn't stand the others today. They just are so..." He sighed and looked down, stricken by his headache suddenly.
"Yeah, I got that. They're a bit too bouncy sometimes, and-"
"Can we just," The Thin White Duke interposed, "Can we just be quiet and hurry it up?"
Jack looked straight ahead at the road, ruffled by the other man's shortness. "Yeah. Yeah, sounds fine,"
Duke smiled weakly at the man trying to talk to him about the concert that started in twenty minutes and ducked away into the next room.

Personas chapter 3Ziggy was woken early that morning by the sound of a ringing phone. He groaned wearily, kicking off his sequin duvet and sitting up, pulling the embroidered light blocker from his eyes . The drowsy Martian swung his legs over the edge of the bed, sliding his feet into his fluffy red slippers, he rose and staggered out of his room. Ziggy's door was always recognizable by the brightly colored poster of himself on the front with the title, THE GOD OF GLAM ROCK SLEEPS HERE DO NOT ENTER!Personas chapter 33 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Ziggy stood on the landing, trying to look majestic in his bedraggled state. He was wearing no makeup (a rare look for Ziggy) and a billowy silk kimono that was so loose it hung awkwardly from one shoulder, exposing half his chest. His unsprayed hair was sticking up in all directions like a bird nest.
He stood, hands clasped on either side of his abdomen, pouting his lips.
"Lads! The phone is ringing!" Nothing, not an audible moan or stir. "Oh I'll just get it myself then shall I?"

Years after visiting the Underground, Sarah finds herself locked away in a mental asylum. Magic is the reason for her being there, but can it also be the reason for her escape? Rating may change. JarethxSarah.
Chapter Five: Limbo
When Jareth had said that she was only half truly in the Underground, he hadn't been lying. Sarah barely understood what was happening over the course of the next few days. To her, though, it felt so much longer than a few days.
The pain of drifting between the two worlds that she was tied to was excruciating- like being pulled in two separate directions, by two unstoppable forces. If she could have screamed, then Sarah would have. In fact, she might have been- she just wasn't aware of it.
It took who knows how long, before Sarah was able t

I need coffee, she thought, taking out a container of ground coffee, putting a scoop of it into her coffee machine and turned it on. She sat at her small dining table to wait for the coffee to be ready, yawning.
"That was the weirdest dream that I ever had," she groaned, still trying to wake herself up. Coffee would help once it's done being made.
All she could remember after telling owl Jareth that he could stay for awhile was that she had taken one of her sweaters from her dresser and placed it on her desk chair for him to sleep on. He wrote on the paper, after testing the new bed, that he won't be able to sleep on the sweater because it was scratchy.
Sarah was about to argue but stopped herself, reminding herself that he's already depressed enough that she didn't want to make it wors

"Dory, I told you, I don't want to talk about him!" The dark-haired woman exclaimed, shifting on her end of the bed. “That was a long time ago!”
The long-haired hippie sat up in protest. “But Jareth stays with us sometimes---there’s no way you won’t come across him. You may as well work it out now!” He reasoned, shifting the hem of his dress up. He looked at her sardonically. “And I may be gay, but I can recognize when a woman loves a man.”
Sarah tossed her hair back. “I’ve managed being friends with the rest of you boys without him,”
“I think you’re just excluding him to spite him,” Dory frowned innocently, concerned for the Goblin King’s l

Pure black; grey velvet sheets pouring through the window from outside's dawn. Pierrot's eyes blinked carefully open, and peered around the room, which seemed oblivous to the fact it was morning, as everything in it was still coated in darkness. Quietly peeling off his covers so as not to disturb Serious Moonlight, his no-nonsense-before-noon room-mate. Well, frankly, Serious was no-nonsense at all, really, thought Pierrot. Slinking out into the hallway, Pierrot relaxed. He loved this time of day. It was his time. No one was up, and therefore no one could see him. Walking to the loo, he pondered his role in this new house. He never was sure if he was afraid of everyone, and he didn't talk to them because of it, or if they were afraid of him and that was why they didn't talk to him. Either way, he was shy, and no one liked him at all. He wasn't...unlikable, he thought, just very, very quiet, and odd. He rarely even ta
