The Tufted Titmouse has a distinct call that to me sounds like little kissing sounds. This is how I know when they are about to show up and get the camera ready! :D

Whilst walking through a recreational park in China I could hear a lot of bird noise. Birds were chasing an Azure winged magpie through the trees because it had a fledgling in its mouth. The Magpie eventually dropped it not far from where I was standing, so I ran over to it. As soon asI got there I I saw the adult and I froze, it was the bird I was hoping to see the whole trip. I slowly brought my camera to my eye trying not to shake as it was within 5 feet of me the 'Greater Necklaced Laughing Thrush'. I just couldn't believe it, it just landed there. I managed to shoot off about 150 photos ;-)

Then I realised the fledgling was still alive ;-) 5 individuals had chased the magpie until it dropped to the ground eventually it ran for shelter. 2 of the thrushes kept the magpie at bay whilst it tried to get at it again. Eventually the fledging climbed up the bush in front of me and each of the adults took turns feeding it The whole thing was just unbelievable, I'll never forget it.

The Falcons are back in Downtown Binghamton and the sidewalks are full of pigeon and sparrow wing parts... I heard they had three babies, but only saw two of them.
