Wish Gone Wrong
It was nearing Christmas and all Josh and Zach could think about was the coming holiday and the presents their parents had placed under the tree, seemingly mocking them every time they passed their living rooms. Josh had a huge box that he was sure contained a new bike, but until then, it would sit there. Zach had the same problem, so many tiny presents to open, but so long to wait. Five days until Christmas was like a lifetime to those two.
Despite all of that, they waited patiently for Christmas. Until then, they busied themselves by trying to find Christmas presents for each other. Zach didn’t have too hard a time,

"Finally, Spring Break!" My friend, Alan shouted in relief.
"I know! It's so great not to have homework... AND a week of no homework!" My other friend, Eddie, said.
"It's sad, we're not going to have this luxury when we're done with school." I told them, "Plus, being on break gets boring after a while."
"Yea, you're right. But still, SPRING BREAK!" Alan shouted.
"Don't, Alan, just don't." Eddie cupped a hand over his ear.
We all headed inside of my house, where we were going to conduct a party among ourselves to celebrate the beginning of a week's break. And since it was going to rain, it was going to be even better because we'd tell

Danny Perry, and Sarah Baker had recently moved in together. This put a bee in the bonnet of Sarah's Mother, as it was 1968, and was socially frowned upon. Danny saw himself as a revolutionary. He favored socialist ideas, and was not quiet with his opinions. This made it very hard for him to find a job. No one wanted someone so "un-American" to work for them, especially not one of those "long haired hippies". He'd tried several times to break into writing, but no one seemed to be interested in his work.
Sarah also viewed herself as a revolutionary. She had procured a sales position, at a upscale de

It was a Saturday morning in 1965, when Jimmy finally pushed his mother to her wits end. Meredith Baker had taken her 4 children to her mother's house for a weekend vacation. Things had been stressful since she had lost her husband in an accident at work one year prior. She felt that getting away would give the kids a chance to clear their heads and maybe bond again, since all they seemed capable of doing was bickering and fighting.
Catherine was the oldest at 20, having recently enrolled in beauty school. Sarah was 17, and an excellent student. She had plans of university and was very forward thinking for her

As the chauffer pulled into Willow Haven country club, the door man let the 4 young women out of the back of the limo. He noticed how they seemed to possess a different type of beauty. A young girl in her pinafore dress with hair in tight sausage curls almost leaps out of the car at the excitement of her first visit to a fancy social gathering. She was followed by a smartly dressed young woman in a pink suit, looking as confident as she was beautiful. Next came a very fashionable woman in a nice floral print dress with impeccable poise. However the last one to step out almost seemed reluctant to do so. She see

Vampires The moon shone full as Ben approached an old mansion. There have been reports it was haunted and he--dared by his friends--was going to prove himself by staying the night. The front door opened slowly with a loud creak before he was even close to touching it and he entered. The old gas lamps suddenly turned on as the door slammed shut behind him. In the light, his features were a little clearer to see. He had short dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes and wore a plain white tee, a pair of blue jeans and green and red sneakers.Vampires1 month ago in Short Stories More Like This

Billy Summers entered his high school, still very nervous that any day now, the world would come crashing down around him. It was only a week prior, that his sister had her friends, played Barbie with him and his friends. The boys were all grounded for skipping school the day they walked into the commons to find pictures of their feminine alter egos, with the entries for homecoming court. The took off on the spot, and ran to the barber shop, shearing off their pretty hairdos.
Today they were taking the vote, and announcing the winners at the morning assembly. Billy had hoped to get to school, and

I was sitting at the kitchen table wearing my pink baby doll nightie, when I noticed Cody, not Courtney, coming over for our sleepover. Our parents were out of town again, and I had acted a little reluctant at first, but I eventually 'caved', and said I'd watch the little neighbor boy again. My protégé was coming along quite well. She was developing into a cute young girl. She was probably the closest thing I'd ever have to a little sister.
"I can't do this anymore!" Cody screamed as he slammed the door. He looked to sad.

I moved into a condo with my best friend Harold that his grandparents were renting but never used, thus giving us the entire thing to ourselves. As for our looks I was sporting a nice short brown hair that usually styled itself, I'm pretty tall at an even 6 feet while Harold was just a few inches shorter. Everybody except for Liam. He missed his old friends. On top of that his new school was awful. The teachers were mean and the older boys bullied him. It even went so far, that he thought about ending his life, but luckily he discarded that thought immediately. His parents didn’t seem to notice his misery, they were too happy with the new job and house, so Liam didn’t want to bother them with his school problems. A month ago they nearly broke

"Geez, man! Why do you do that to every girl you see?"
"Hey, they love it." he answered, flexing his muscles.
"They do not. It's way too disrespectful."

Every Saturday, Sam's parents would leave from around 6:00 to 11:00, going out to dinner with some friends. And with his sister, Courtney away at college, he finally had some time alone to be himself, or herself. When his sister left for college, she had so many clothes that she just couldn't bring them all with her. Lawrence brushed his hair to the side and Jay could see that he had the earplugs from his I-pod in his ears. Corinna showed me a great song yesterday. Its really good and easily enoug
