Today when checking my notifications on deviantart I found the following comment: (I think this kind of outrageous comments)
How to get allot of attention in Deviant Art:
2#-have a sexy body
3#-take pictures of yourself nude
4#-take picture 2 girls kissing each other
5#- act cute in the comment section
6#-Have allot of tattoos
this is my answer:
Learn to see things from another perspective:
1#- I'm not bisexual
2#-the body is art
3#-I take nude photos for where you see vulgarity I see art
4#-two girls kissing is the sexiest out there. hey what's wrong with that? There are sexual tendencies and they respect them.
5#I'm friendly with everyone because I am an educated woman
6#-I do not care what you think about my tattoos, I do it to capture memories in my skin that you like best
My work art is about free speech and my images are not all naked, I am part of a community of girls and I promote the photos, we are models with different stereotypes of beauty, sorry i

Psychology meaning of doodles/drawings.*Disclaimer* not my own written work just a collection of notes from many sources.* Last Edit: 8/23/2014Psychology meaning of doodles/drawings.4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Many of us doodle and you may not realize it but doodles will actually tell you a lot about your personality and mood. The size, position as well as what the object(s) of focus of will lead you to some key clues. There are many different shapes, designs and colors of doodles, just as there are different dream scenarios, but there are some that are quite common and, as such, more easily interpreted.
Size and Placement
Large doodles that take most of your page, you are likely to be attracted to nature. Moreover, you might also have a reserved personality, but would want to socialize.
Small doodles on a corner of the paper suggest that the person is neat and organized in his/her ways. Because the drawing is placed on a side of the page, it shows that a person does not like wastage and prefers everything in its
Corvettes 1953 through 1984A Very General Summery of Corvettes up to the C4. (by Randy Lamb)Corvettes 1953 through 19846 days ago in Personal More Like This
The 1953-82 is generally pretty easy to decide the year and most people can narrow it down to a few years…
However- There are a few years that can be tough to decide the year. The thing that you have to keep in mind is A LOT of Corvettes are changed from stock by the owner's and a lot of the year markers and emblems are gone or changed to suit the owner.
In Very General Corvette Terms:
The 1953-55 basically look alike. If you see one of these year Corvettes chances are that it will probably be a 1954. There were 300 1953 Corvettes built and about 220 are currently accounted for. There were 700 1955 Corvettes produced. The 55 was the first year for the V-8 265 and the side emblem has a big “V” in “CheVrolet”. All but seven 1955 Corvettes are V-8 265 cid. (So there is your Corvette quest- find one of the seven 1955 Corvettes with a straight six-cylinder!) There were 3,640 19
Mid Month FeaturesHey everyone! So, since a few people insisted on me doing another End of the Month Journal, I decided to take your advice and do it! There's one little catch though, I didn't keep track of my faves this month, so instead, I'm gonna do this Feature Journal. Just wanted to shine some light on some artists that I either really like or feel deserve more attention. Helps me get back in the swing of writing things. In February, I'll get on task and keep track of all of my faves and all. So, lets get to this 'End of the Month but not really' Journal...Mid Month Features1 year ago in Personal More Like This

collaborationsSo I noticed that some people upload art that has been done in collaboration with another artist. How does something like that work? How do you collaborate on a piece of art when the other person is on the other side of the world? Or do these people all know each other in real life? (which I can't imagine...)collaborations10 months ago in Personal More Like This
And how does it work, how do you decide witch part of the drawing you start or end, en where the other person can finish it off. A lot of questions, I guess can only be answered by those of you who experienced it or by doing a collab.
Anyway.. this is kind of a way of calling out for me, I'd love to do a collaboration some time, but don't really know how it all works and who to ask for this, since everybody here is such a great artist in its own way
So here I'd like to call out to find someone interested in doing a collaboration with me!
Something in return. Now I know everyone has stuff they are going through. It's not easy but sometimes we need to pull ourselves up after falling. Some of us have friends, family, random strangers that just happen to be there for us. Others have no one. We think about ourselves and the ones we care about most for the reason we are human and nothing more. When I draw I think about these things and other struggling and wish that some day I could help them.Something in return.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Just some thoughts for the day.
Sex , Death and beyondThese realms of expression, prod and explore. I'll always be a child growing through the cosmos of experience. What is the way I can further express not just the day to day thoughts but also thoughts that exist in neither day nor night? Those meditative realms of perfect abstractions, or imperfect loops of information. How many more ways. . .How to express these concepts into conventional and yet intriguing and inspiring realms. Let's explore and theorize! " Onweird " !Sex , Death and beyond2 years ago in Personal More Like This
David's Girls2011 Was a very good year for my work, I received a bit of recognition, made some new friends, traveled all over southern California taking pictures and even revived some work in film.David's Girls3 years ago in Personal More Like This
But no one knows better than me I didn't do it alone, these absolutely phenomenal and very talented individuals made it all possible and without them, I would be out there shooting landscapes and cactus. These girls got up early, suffered my company on long drives to remote areas of desert, hiked, climbed rocks and braved cold, wind, rain and heat just to create these images.
All I can say is each of them deserves serious kudos, each of them has my deepest respect, gratitude and love because they are what art is made of. And I'm not the only photographer they work with so you really ought to be watching them! The incredible people I had the privilege and honor of working with in 2011, in order of appearance...

It's been such a long time, shit, years actually! Things have changed so much in my life and there's so much to write about, but I'll focus on the substance cause unfortunately, one thing has managed to remain the same: time is always against me.
Let's sum it up, emoticons included!
1.- I Left Marvel by the last quarter of 2012 and I don't plan to do digital colors for a living anymore. I'll post my favourites here, though... for all you who dig.
2.- Earned a grant that helped me continue with the production of Turbo Defiant, my graphic novel throughout 2013.
3.- Went nuts (again), sold my apartment and invested it in creating my own publishing company: FIXION Narradores here in Mexico, but we're publishing our titles in both Spanish and English.
3.5.- That means Turbo Defiant is finally printed and now I have almost four th

Hello Mickle.. i am very impressed with your work and love how your photos look like. If you find the time i would be so happy if you could take a look at my last few pics .. but mostly my studio work and tell me how to make them better in postproduction (PS). I use 2 lights in the studio, one softbox( for face) and one umbrella (for body) and on my camera a flash (Speedlight YN560) to activate the studio lights, or do you think i am on the right way ... i am using Canon EOS 600D. And again thanks so much for posting your work here !!!
Your best post-production actually begins in pre-production. You should know what a shot can look like in your head and have an understanding of how to get there before committing to taking the shot. Everything you do should be done with intent. It's there in the image because you wanted it there. Techniques were used because you wanted to use them. A happy accident is just that, an accident, they are unplanned and rare.
The Adventures of Squicken... Week OneMy name is Cameron Michael but all my friends call me "Squicken". It's a mixture of "Squid" (what Mommy calls my Dad) and "Chicken" (what Daddy calls my Mommy). I was born last Tuesday the 18th, and have learned SO MUCH that I asked Dad if I could write about it here in his journal. The Adventures of Squicken... Week One2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Dad gave me permission so here goes my first attempt at writing. Don't judge me too harshly because I'm only a week old and I've got my hands full trying to learn stuff. For instance, eyes!!! Wow, eyes are tough to control! It's hard to focus them and move them all around. I can't really see all that well yet but I think I recognize Mom and Dad and I CERTAINLY recognize a fine nipple, which makes Dad proud. Of course, I don't have much experience with other nipples but, I have time to fix that.
I spent a few days in ICU (Mom, Dad, and I called it "jail") at the hospital because Mom ran a fever during birth and the docs said they found some indication of infection in the blood samples they took from me
I'm leavingDon't worry, Im not leaving Deviant Art totally but I have decided to leave nearly all groups, and no longer submit my work to any of them.I'm leaving3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I have been thinking long and hard about this and I truly believe the lack of activity on here is due to groups.
Even I get annoyed at seeing the same image appear in my watch list many times - many groups feature the same image.
My thought process is this, if I want to watch an artist or models work then I will add a watch to their profile.
I do not see why "Groups" should get the credit (and watches) for featuring other peoples work.
OK, I know that by adding my work to groups then my work is more likely to be seen by a wider audience, but I already have 13,000 watchers of my work. Of them, only a handful every comment or fave my work.
I really do appreciate every comment that my watchers make on my work and make every effort to reply to every one.
Here are just a few of my latest fave photos: Comments would be very much appreciated.
Tip of the Day: the StruggleLearn to enjoy the struggle. Our most memorable goals we achieve in our lives are always extra special because of the many hardships we had to endure before succeeding. Those memories will be some of your fondest when you're successful. So take sometime to live in the moment and enjoy the struggle before achieving bigger and better things.Tip of the Day: the Struggle3 years ago in Personal More Like This

Tip of the day: The darkest momentsThe moment to shine the brightest is in darkness. Darkness can bring chaos but with it comes opportunity. Many times throughout my career when I pushed past the point when I'd usually give up, this is when I end up achieving my biggest successes. Fate seems to have a way to test us and only the ones that want it the most shall receive the fruits of their labor.Tip of the day: The darkest moments2 years ago in Personal More Like This

Women ArtistsThe other day, I attempted to put together a huge list of some professional and semi-pro women artists over on my tumblr, because it seems like too often women get overlooked when it comes to being honored and recognized. This year, I was incredibly honored to be nominated for a Hugo award in the Best Professional Artist category, but I was a little shocked to find out there hadn’t been another woman nominated in that category since Rowena Morrill in 1986. That’s more than a little ridiculous, considering there are so many women artists out there who are all amazing, who offer unique points of view and design solutions, and who need more visibility and recognition. While putting this list together, I was really excited to find tons of new artists I'd never heard of before.Women Artists1 year ago in Personal More Like This

SOPA, Hypocrisy, Scandal, DMCA, and CensorshipMissing The PointSOPA, Hypocrisy, Scandal, DMCA, and Censorship3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I've been disappointed to see the various responses to SOPA, especially the "DEVIATION CENSORED" images. They so completely miss the point that I can only assume the people posting them have absolutely no comprehension of what SOPA means, why it's a problem, and what they're actually protesting against.
First off, SOPA is not about censorship. Unfortunately, many of the opponents of SOPA decided to cast it as being about censorship in order to mobilize public opinion. Why did they do that? Unfortunately, they did that for two reasons: 1) they knew that without mobilizing mass support, the bill would go through and 2) they knew that the masses they wanted to get support from simply don't care/understand the real problem enough to do anything - because the truth is much to complicated for the typical internet user. I have some sympathy for that view, because I've discovered over and over again that copyright is, in fact, too complicated for the typi

Here's a healthy thought to maximize your life. Imagine the number of days of your life were dependent on how you used each day.
How would you spend today? This doesn't mean to just work all day but instead to live every moment to the fullest whether during work or play or spending quality time with loved ones.
Sending positive vibes to everyone.
