This is a drawing I did of a bookend I made a few years ago. Much the same as you see depicted here. I'd never really worked with modelling clay and told my partner Alison about it. Next birthday she'd bought me some Das self harding modelling clay and I was away! Built a wire armature and got busy. the results were surprisingly better than I expected, even painted it too. I'll post a photo of it oneday.

So one evening I was sat at my desk staring into space with artist block needing to do an update for my website when my eyes fell upon my bookend. So I got busy and this is the result.
