So I lied; I had time to make something today. :3 A chocolate lava cake with a mound of whipped cream, garnished with a raspberry, a mint leaf, and a raspberry sauce on the side.

This was originally for Semi-Sweeties monthly food challenge, but I only just noticed it was for chocolate CANDIES, not just chocolate foods. >.<

I think I will be keeping this one for myself. It's my husband's favorite dessert and will be turned into a magnet for our fridge. :)

As promised, a peach pie...with peaches!

I wanted to make a prep board with this one, but I haven't had a chance to get any balsa wood for the board itself. So I just made a few peaches and stuck them in the picture. The pie is the same size as the other ones.

I have to say, this is my favorite pie to date. :)

I wanted to take some photos of the dice holders I made recently, since I always forget to take proper pictures of them. They're all made from polymer clay, minus the dice which are store bought. Anything that glows in the dark I've added to the picture.

These will be available this weekend (9/5-9/7) at UmiCon in Daytona, FL. I will be in the artist alley from Friday until the show ends on Sunday. Anything that's left will be listed in my online shop. :)

If you want to see work in progress pictures of these or any other pieces, please make sure to follow my Tumblr or Instagram (links below). I post more frequently on there than here!

Hello everyone!  Here's a little ombre cake on a cake server.  Tutorial coming soon.  Hopefully by the end of tomorrow... I'm having trouble making it less than seven minutes.  It'll be available on Etsy next week. :)

There's also a separate slice, but it didn't look nice in the picture so I just left it out.

I've done a few prep boards now, this being the second. Got a few more to finish and post before I head to Lakeland next Friday.

Dollhouse Miniature in 1:12 Scale Handcrafted from Polymer Clay

I always like to see how an artist's work evolves over the years. For me, to see how I've grown and how I can push myself even more.

I also managed that sadistic undertaking all miniature food sculptors have to do at some point....creating the strawberry cane.

It's a decent first attempt I suppose (you can see a messily arranged tart at my Flickr linked below).

Materials used:

-FIMO and Sculpey brands of polymer clay
-Kato Liquid Polyclay
-Colored chalk pastels
-J.W.etc. Clear Varnish
-The spoon and ceramic plate were purchased from ebay
