Sorry for the picture off Instagram, but I wanted to show off my newest fish - bettas!

These little guys will be debuting at Tampa Bay Comic Con (August 1-3). They'll be going into clear glass bowls. Hopefully I'll have them done over this weekend so I can get a picture of them in time before the show.

Once my commissions reopen, I'll be offering custom betta bowls.

Hihi!

Here's a tiny bucket of fish! :D  This was done in one layer of resin.  Still experimenting with the resin to see if I can do everything in one layer instead of a few.  It seems like it should work..haha *fingers crossed*.

Materials: polymer clay, resin

Manuna is going to "Modna Lyalka" doll exhibition in Kyiv on 12-14 Apr 2013: [link]
The mouse is tiny and the booth is huge so I decided to make an environment for her.
The progress pics are here: [link]
Everything is made by my hands.
Time spent: two months of almost everyday work.
Materials: too much to list.

1:12 Koi in handmade pots. Koi fish are made from polymer clay and the water is made from resin. Pots were made by Alex Meiklejohn.

I know you all are probably sick of koi fish by now, but I made these pots for my miniature show yesterday and I just had to post them. I really love how Alex's pottery and when I first saw the large planter pots, I knew I'd have to use them for my koi pieces. :)

All but the two koi in the small bowl are available still. I'll have them up in my Etsy shop tomorrow, as well as all the other items from my show.

The show went pretty well. I set up my room box displays for the first time and I'm finally happy with my display! I just need to add some steps to it and it will be 100% done! Now I just have to worry about my convention set up.

More 1:12 koi ponds, metal tubs, and barrels. Fish made from polymer clay and the water is resin.

These took soooooo long. I probably put in a solid 14 hours on these between part of Tuesday night and all of Wednesday. Everything smells like resin in my craft room so I've had to vacate while the smell clears. But they're finished and completely dried and ready for the show (well, minus the ponds which still need some stones around the edges)! And I love how they turned out, especially the small ones. :)

A proper picture of the little red cap Oranda I made earlier. The goldfish is made from polymer clay.

I really need to make myself a tub of them I can keep for myself. Maybe one day when I actually have time. :P

I did a Craft This Again with the new goldfish and my previous one: Craft This Again: Goldfish by Bon-AppetEats
