Some Digimon fanart! Pretty much a companion piece to my OLD Renamon drawing: [link]
Not sure if I'm happy with this right now, but I'll hopefully tinker around with this a lot more when I get my mac/COMFORT ZONE back. Plus the colous were way off on my tablet vs. monitor, so once I get my Mac back, I can fix stuff.
Photoshop + Cintiq on Windows is different enough to make me notice.
Please don't hassle me over my watermarks, they're there for a reason :C
Long time I didn't do a "true" artwork, with complete shadows and lights effects. I did it very quick, just 2~3 hours on SAI and PS, and I didn't expected this final result.
And I'm tired. I'm studying a lot now, and lately I'm very sleepy and very upset. The ENEM (a national exam for Brazilian student) is near, and I'm not ready yet x_x I need more hours to relax and sleep...
I don't know I felt like drawing Guilmon. Heís my favorite Digimon from Digimon Tamers. I also tried something new out with the coloring. Itís only a slight different, but Iím satisfied with the result itís every time good to figure something new out.
Renamon With just a bit of my own style flavoring.
And with it I'd like to link to a journal entry made by =Atraius[link] which at least partially inspired this. There are good reasons to do you own characters, but there's also merit in fanart.
Back in the way olden days of my color pencil work, I used to have a blaze of bright white light on the side. I've been feeling burnt out of my digital style, so I figured I'd try incorporating that into my digital work. I didn't take this one quite so fully white because it didn't work with the shading I had already done, and this worked out quite nicely anyway. But I did see what I need to do to pull out a much brighter band, so that should be fun again when I finally implement it.
