New options skin added! Now you can easily edit launcher names, paths and icons without having to delve into the config.inc file
I proudly present S.H.I.E.L.D OS
The design of the skin is taken directly from the computers on the Helicarrier in The Avengers. I got all of my reference material from the actual designer of the UI for the movie.
The package itself contains most of the typical skins you'd expect:
Clock - Intricate clock design as well as the actual number version for clear understanding Program Launchers - 6 small and 6 big launchers for opening programs/folders etc... Web Launchers - 6 text based launchers for opening webpages CPU Monitor - Support for 1-4 Cores. The monitor is designed to be more visually appealing then functional so accuracy of the actual levels is off. I plan on fixing this in the next update Ram Monitor - Shows Ram used percentage HDD Monitor - The outer ring on the clock skin displaying your HDD used space Date - Date, month and day Music Player - Can open your music player directly from the skin. Playback buttons, progress, player volume control and album artwork all incorporated Shutdown Buttons - Buttons to shutdown, restart and log off Recycling Bin - Opens the recycling bin. Also shows a current deleted item count Volume Control - Adjust the system volume Options menu - Easily edit launcher names, paths and icons
READ BEFORE COMMENTING -Make sure you have the latest version of Rainmeter! -Middle Mouse button changes the colour of the skin -The Wallpaper can be found under username/documents/Rainmeter/Skins/Avengers/@Resources/Wallpapers -For a list of supported music players and their respective codes see this page.
Update 1.2.5 ============= Added an options skin to allow easy editing of launcher, folders, webpage and general variables. Minor adjustments to the Music Player skin including adding the time elapsed of the current song. Border skin now available in 1920x1200
Update 1.2.0 ============= Changed the Volume skin design to something better looking. Added a Recycling bin that can have its orientation changed so that it can fit onto most of the other skins. Colours Added. Simply middle mouse click on any skin to cycle it between Orange, Blue and Red
Update 1.1.1 ============= Added a 12 Hour version of the clock as well as a border in 1680x1050 due to popular demand. You can now skip through songs by simply clicking along the progress bar of the music player skin
Update 1.1.0 ============= Major visual changes have been made to the border in all sizes as well as minor colour and transparency tweaks to all launchers, the clock and music player buttons. Just trying to get the whole thing as close to the original UI from the movie as possible
Update 1.0.1 ============= The border skin is now available in 1366x768, 1600x900 and 1920x1080

TESTED - So Saint1121 on DA has graciously enough tested my rmskin based on his same monitor setup. With some manual alignment and not fully modified for his hardware and links setup here's his desktop. [link]
UPDATE!!! - I have just repackaged this rmskin and selected minimum requirements XP. All I know is that I built this from downloading and installing skins from zip files. This is the first time using the rmskin packager since it just came out of beta this week. I'm not sure if it at all matters that my system is 64-bit and not 32-bit. If you are having trouble installing this or would rather have individual screens, I suggest clicking on the screenshot links and download the files I used from the original skin authors. I'm not sure why my file went from 10mb to 21.7mb, by selecting XP from the drop down menu for minimum requirements? I have no clue, its the same folder that's being packaged.
IMPORTANT: This is my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Rainmeter Setup on 3x23" 1920x1080 Monitor Configuration. This theme REQUIRES you to download the free Advanced Wallpaper Manager by [link] this PC application will allow you to manage 3 different wallpaper settings for each display independently. I suggest you BACKUP your current settings before running this .rmskin.
Credits and Instructions: I am NO expert at programming or creating my own skins, not yet. This theme was made possible by modifying others skins and themes. Taking what I need to create a desktop that is reflective of my style and my own system's setup.
I encourage everyone to take a look at the Credits List provided in the following screenshot links which I try my best to give credit to the original authors skins and themes plus other items I used in my composition.
::: THE SETUP for 3 Displays ::: 1. Download and Install Advance Wallpaper Management bundled in the DisplayFusion PC Application. [link] 2. I placed the 3 individual Wallpapers in the Avengers folder when you install this .rmskin look inside the folder where your other skins are installed. Or you can download it from my Wallpapers Gallery [link] Run the DisplayFusion Application and it is self explanatory, select and save your wallpaper settings. IMPORTANT, the .rmskin is configured to have Blue on the left, Iron Man in the middle and Red on the Right Display. 3. Download and run the .rmskin from this page. 4. Play around with any skin settings via the skin manager or edit the .ini files to your needs.
To change the Shield Tag.png I added the Photoshop .psd file in the Shield Tag folder as well as the American Captain.ttf font I used, simply replace my image and text. Make sure you save it as a .png file replacing the original. To change the Adobe CS5.5 Large buttons I included the .psd Photoshop files in the same folder. The credit for the adobe icons provided for use with the small launchers goes to nokari [link]
Again I suggest you follow the links I provided and explore the original skin authors DA page, questions I had on their skins they most likely have answered it already in the post dialog with other downloaders.
Center Monitor Display (#2 of 4) - Rainmeter Customization ([link])
Experimenting with Rainmeter for the first time I wanted to have 1 of my 4 displays showcase the S.H.I.E.L.D OS User Interface with a Iron Man/Tony Stark J.A.R.V.I.S Hack. I Added the shortcuts to my Adobe CS 5.5 Applications, 5 browser and Email Client shortcuts, weather, time and date, iTunes player, to do list, as well as basic system monitoring skins.

Here it is, the Call of Duty inspired rainmeter suite I've been promising.
-Base theme -Geotracker -File Database To see them in action: [link]
I've tried something new and aligned and sized everything relative to my screen resolution, so one of two things will happen on install: either it goes according to plan and it auto-corrects to best suit your screen; or (more likely) it all goes horribly wrong and squishes everything into an unusable mess.
I have what many would call a chaotic coding style, so I'd have to advise against trying to modify the skins at the config level unless you're extremely confident in your abilities. *You can access the most of the useful variables by clicking the "configure" button at the top right.*
The base interface itself is simple enough, though you will find a few blank slots I've left open for the addition of features.
There are a number of "experimental" features included as well and I'm in desperate need of feedback and critiques on their functionality.
Please bear in mind that this is only a Beta version. I am already working to correct some of the speed & performance issues.
