Similar Deviations
This is the FSMG-12 Raptor. Also known as the buzzard to the Zygotian military. This is a Symbiotian unit thats tasked with a combination of ground and air roles. Its integrated flying packs keep the GA flight capable while external and internal hard points keep the Raptor well equipped for any situation. It's main weapons consist of a variety of arm mounted armament; such as the retractable claw pictured above. The claws unique ability of being able to fold out and then be "thrown" makes this the best medium/and CQC weapon available for this GA. When thrown it has a pair of thrusters that are attached to the base of the blade propelling the blades forward, while the thruster's thrust-vectoring capabilities and fins keep it stable in flight. It's reeled in by a tow cable attached to the weapon and the arm-mounting platform. It's size and weight allow the Raptor to have a range of about 2000 miles and the top speeds tend to be around the sub sonic areas. But pilots have been known to modify and equip the Raptors with stronger thrusters and flight units so that they have a range closer to 2.5k miles and break the sound barrier. this is the primary unit of the Symbiotian Air Force.

Performance:
Land- 50 MPH
Air- 600 MPH (With a range of 2000 miles) (When modified: 900 MPH with a range of 2500 miles)
Marine- None (sinks)

This is a new dragoon class of warrior I drew in my art class at college While waiting for the new students to show up.
This is a Dragoon Imperator, They stand as the Vanguard for the Emperor himself. They are highly skilled swordsmen and at times carry Gunlance's, These are heavy shell cannons mounted on a lance head. The Dragoon Imperator are also master pyromancers, this means they can generate fire and use it to attack or in some rare cases defend. They have sworn to give their lives for the emperor and are willing to die even if it means slowing down a enemy.

this is the XF-6 Kaiju Buster aka: ''Warhammer'' .

It's an early design that leads up to the Cyberdinos and ultimately to Cyrokus .

I found this old design [1996'] and tweeked it a bit to make it into this big nasty kaiju fighter .

I don't know what it was originally meant to be used for .

Here is a sample spread from my new book. It should give you a good idea of how the content in the book is presented. Many of the mecha have additional pages of sketches and development material!

This mech was colored just for the book as were many others.

:star: Be sure to download the image for a full view.

you can order the book here... [link]

I'm participating in the drawing-a-day event, Inktober! I try to post them all... eventually ;)

This sketch is my attempt to give Maximillian from Disney's 1979 movie, The Black Hole, a more *real robot* style. He's a deep crimson red in the movie and overall a really evil robot!

Something I finished a few months months ago.

I fully repainted a Real Grade kit of the Strike Gundam into my own variant, the Strike Venus. This is probably my favorite of my Strike Venus models.

My original MG Strike Venus can be found here:[link]

And the SD version can be found here:[link]

Hi!

Here's a pic of the latest robot commission I've completed!

Standing roughly 6 inches tall, my client requested a combination of styles inspired by some of my smaller Rusty Robots. I went to town with adding lots of chips, scratches and grime to give him a rather well worn appearance but the extra work was well worth it!

More pictures can be found on my blog:

spacecowsmith.blogspot.co.uk/2…

I am always happy to take on commissions so please feel free to get in touch with any requests!

All the best!
