These bracers were made as a commission for my friend James, who just recently got into larping, and plays a ranger style character.

These bracers were made from 5-6 oz veg tanned leather, and dyed, treated and sealed using various wonderful things from the Tandy Leather Store outlet.

I decided to take another stab at the vambrace design I made a few months ago [link]. I think overall these came out much better than the original pair.

This time around, I decided to attach a leather base to it, instead of using the buckles, and sealed the whole thing with a protective enamel so it wont rust.

These are being donated to the same larp that I donated the other pair to.

okey, let's take a look at the arms :)

again you can see here the pieces of the arms
- the arm itself
- the shoulder armor
- the booster and some attachments
- and the arm.... whatever this is called ^^;

pic1
these pieces were just ugly
even i did more then one look at the pdo i had no clue how to bend the edge
so i just cut it away ;P
and as you can see, this is actually one piece

in the piece overview you can see this little cut out on the right side
this joint was also something what took me a bit time to understand
also you can see the final booster and the wristband/armor thing
i allready finished the shoulder in the step before :)

and well, what should i say
the final piece
and the quite final model :)

Custom Tooled Trilobite leather bracers. They were actually very small (about 5" tall) so the tooling was somewhat intricate in the end.
Embossed shape a bit.

Another pair of Nordic bracers, similar to the Thor bracers seen here: [link]

These are a personal piece. Heimdall is known as the whitest of the Aesir, but I more closely relate to the color black, so I tried to do a black/grey combination with white/silver runes. However, the grey dye I used just came out looking grey-brown. The rivets are all dark silver, and the rune panels are framed by dark nickel-colored studs.

Each bracer has a gjallarhorn symbol up top along with a runic word and two large runes there for meaning. There is "shield" coupled with algiz and eihwaz, and "warning" coupled with ansuz and hagalaz.

The top image came out poorly, as I had already worn them for a bit when I took the picture, so they're already largely curved to fit my arms! It was difficult to try and flatten them back out, making them look wrinkled and skewed. But it does showcase the design. :)

They are heavy duty and very fun to wear. These photos were taken after the bracers were worn to a metal concert, and they held up beautifully.

Shields made for the project "Arthas: From light to Shadow"
A fanfilm project about Arthas and Warcraft' universe.

Thoses are real shields which can be use for reenactment.

You have the one made for the captain in yellow, the three others are made for footmen.
You can notice that the one for the captain is bigger of 5 cm.
Thoses are inspired by Warcraft 3, Warcraft 2 & WoW.

These bracers were made a while back when I had just started getting into leather working for a friend who needed armor for the larp we go to.
