"Wait a second, you don't remember any of it?" I questioned him later in the night, after he'd healed completely, and after we got up and moved a couple hundred yards in a different direction to leave the carnage and other dead cherub body behind. He sat there tiredly, preening himself while I tried not to laugh at him; but the entire underside of his body was coated in blood, now all dried to his skin and apparently it was pretty uncomfortable. He looked back at me, 'spitting' out dried blood and cringing the entire time.
"I remember the cherub taking you, some parts about flying behind them and having a hard time catching up, then suddenly I'm just kinda falling down some time later all cut up and bloodied with you falling along with me. " He preened out one of the longer flight feathers, talking more with his back mouth instead, "The rest is a haze."
I kinda frowned at him for a moment, thinking it over. More then a few odd things were h

The New World
When Lydril finally saw light again, she was in some unfamiliar place. She was at the top of large tower with countless lights below, some lamp lights and others destructive fires in the city of countless metal buildings and steam. The sky was dark and stormy, except when the clouds were illuminated by a bolt of lightning. She heard an ear-shattering gong and realized that she was atop an ancient bell tower. The bell itself had gone through many hardships, for it was rusted, cracked, and stained with old blood. The storm clouds blocked out any hopeful, guiding light from the stars and in their place was the eerie glow of a full moon.
Where am I?
"Are you lost, little mouse?"
Lydril whirled around to the shadows where the chilling voice had come from, but she found nothing.
"Aw, she's scared! How disgustingly adorable."
"W-who are you? What do you want?" Lydril stuttered, trying to sound brave and confident but utterly failing.
"Maybe she needs som

A long time ago in a small village there lived a little elven girl.
But she was different from the other girls.
Not only was she smaller than the smallest elf,
she also had wings like the harpies plaguing the fields.
Most villagers ignored her some greeted her when passing by,
but some hated her, they yelled sometimes even threw stones.
She never lied or did them harm. She just wanted to be friends,
but when ever there was misfortune they made her responsible.
She loved to train with the sword till late into the night.
Her dream was to become a Knight in shiny armor.
When ever she trained the villagers smiled at her,
but not in approval. No they laughed at her full of contempt.
Don't play knight, tiny bird. Make yourself useful.
Water the plants, plow the fields or feed the cattle.
She only trained in her free time when all work was done.
They wanted her to work harder, compensating for the harpies.
The little girl wasn't all alone in the world, though.
There was one man and his wife,
Split Personality 4"Looks like somebody learned how we operate here," said the warden, looking as though he was about to laugh. "In the past, we used handcuffs and chains to keep your kind under control here, but we discovered the effects of fattening foods on 'our' species. Keeping you fat saves us the metal used to make the chains and cuffs, and it's more effective. You can break out of cuffs without any problem with claws, but with fat, there's no getting around it." Bone just looked at the warden with disgust. "If keeping us fat makes us easier to control, then why did you completely immobilize me?" Just to add effect, he grabbed an armful of his belly fat, shook it around a bit, and dropped it back to where it was, causing him to jiggle a bit. "Two reasons. First, new guys always get more than the rest; 800 pounds is the first time default. The better you act, the less you have to weigSplit Personality 42 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Hiding inside a small hidden dirt tunnel covered by a large bush, the small silver wolf cub whimpered. Peeking out from her cover, she held back a yelp of fear at the grewsome sight before her. A dragon. She'd never seen one before, and this one was huge. The moon and fire light glinted off each of it's scales as it swung it's head to and fro, snaping it's large jaws at her pack mates as they raced away in terror, and with it's breath, burning them to a crisp. Their dens- on fire. Their Alpha-shreaded. Their home- gone. Confused and scared, she shrunk back again. Then, almost triping over the crystal of her necklace, she hid once more. She looked down at her black chocker. It was far too b

Jason was a pokemon trainer. He only had one pokemon with him but they were his best friend. She was a female lucario named Breeze. Problem was it was mating season, but she didnt want to leave Jason to raise a family. He was her family. They stopped at a small pond before heading out to the next town.
Jason saw how Breeze was worried about stopping. He smiled at her, Hey Breeze Im running low on berries, Ill go get more. Maybe you should soak in the pond for awhile to see if it will clear your head. She now looked a little nervous and said using her limited telepathy, Are you sure thats safe? Being mating season and all? He chuckled patting her on the back Youll be fine. Dont you fret! She looked at him a little uncertain and sighed. I guess your right. Just dont look please she giggled out nervously. He chuckled knowing the fact lucarios did actually wear clot
The Pendant (Dragon TF) Eldrant was in an antique shop (no not Vicis') looking for a certain old book. He wasn't having much luck, seeing old books, but not the one. While searching, he saw a beautiful pendant. It was a golden chain with a magnificent blue gem in the center. This item mesmerized him, entranced him, engulfed him. He walked up to the counter and bought it instantly, not caring about the hefty price tag, and took it home. The Pendant (Dragon TF)6 months ago in Short Stories More Like This
Eldrant admired his new treasure with longing eyes, he felt it was meant for him. His hunger interrupted his admiring of the gem and got up to make lunch. He made a sandwich, only thinking if the gem, the gem was all that mattered. He ate hastily and then turned to the pendent. He desired to wear it, but something told him to take it else ware, out of sight, then try it on. He went down to the forest and slid the pendent over his head and around his neck.
A searing pain shout through him, causing him to cry out. He noticed he was getting l
On the Subject of Expressing LoveWhen I was out of school and volunteering down at the local primary, I saw loads of kids get hurt. It kind of confused me to think that five year olds could bully (I chalked it up to bad family backgrounds) and all the victims really wanted was to be hugged tight and told it would be all made better. Which I did- and they loved me so much for it! I could make those little five year olds so happy. On the Subject of Expressing Love1 year ago in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
But I was lucky. No one reported me. Really (though I was barely aware of it) it was barely okay to be touching the children- hugging was WAY out of line. It's because some overprotective mothers were worried about child molesters! I always thought the no hugging rule was stupid but when I found out the reason
To be honest I completely understand (I mean imagine if your child got molested by a teacher you wouldn't be able to bear it) but that's SO MUCH less likely to happen then say, your child falling over in the playground and needing a hug. As a mother (as in if I were a mother (cause

Or even a town and wondered what lays beneath the surface?
Perhaps beneath a pillar,
Or a bridge in the ocean,
Maybe a secret gun,
Or even just a quiet relaxing spot,
Perhaps staring at animations,
Left and right,
Wondering what's going to happen next,
Wondering if it's going to be worth trying to play around,
Have you ever awaited for when the time is right,
Trying to explain,
Then deciding to be feign,
But as soon as you were going to say,
Feel or portray,
It means little to nothing in anyone's mind?
Perhaps being wound up in too much betrayal,
So much chaos has brought the worst out of others,
Perhaps just when you think you have the right away,
You end up being wrong,
Detested for your belief,
Even brought down to the bowels of the eternal pain,
The heart clenching writhing,
Blood shed tear crying screams of agony,
Cuts and bruises across the soul of the believer,
Or even the soul

My muse now gone, so long has it been since I had a fresh idea and keen sense about me to write the words that once came so natural, so fluid on pages I never numbered. No count of words could match that feeling of writing with such pure emotion that was the inspiration you once gave me. Has it really been so long? How many days have passed me by and my words not find their way.
Mere numbers I suppose.
I cannot keep track of days wasted, nor will I task myself with remembering the times with which I once filled page after page with ideas and creative nothings that used to be the result of that muse. All good things come to their

You only have the words
When they dont mean anything.
You only can look
Straight in the eyes
Of your crush
When you feel nothing.
A breath of fresh air
A notion your subconscious
Finds time to bring up
In the midst of a sleepless night.
A moment of complete apathy.
If I'm in love with you
Or the idea of you.
You don't even know
I like you
I don't know if I like you.
But I'm a damn good deceiver.
Of myself and anyone else.
I'm just being stupid.
So. Here's the lowdown:
I loved you once, twice, more times to count
But I don't know
If my poor heart
Has finally let go.
Your mystery girl
That you write to,
I try to fit myself in,
But i have no idea.
Hah. So stupid. So stupid.
You write your friend
Those three words.
Over and over again.
I'd do the same,
But I only have one.

You dropped everything, even yourself.

the white yellow of sunrise

soon it will spill and spread,

from the black with a hint of light
to the misty grayish white of dawn.
it isn't a hopeful white, it's a bleak one
that leaves a person feeling empty
until a little later, its hard to pinpoint exactly,

and suddenly you realize it isn't white at all,
its that crisp and clear blue
and it replaces the emptiness with hope
except for the scattered spots of white clouds,

So deeply and completely on my own.
It's my fault I know.
That I turned away from your throne.
I turned away from you.
Because I coudn't handle your truth.
That all I need is you.
All I need is you Father.
You are my everything.
And that wasn't good enough for me at first.
And so I ran.
I ran from you. And I died. I died when I ran from you. I've felt
hatred and anger towards you. When I was really just angry at myself.
I got away from your word. From you Daddy. And doing that is unnatural
for me. I've wanted to kill myself. Attempted a few times too. I acted
fine. But then I couldn't take it. And I wanted the attention. So I

you. But my flesh told me no and I made the mistake of listening. Lord

Walk to you and say these words
Words that are stuck inside my heart
For way too long to get any worse
I don't know you, nor do I want to
You became a stranger, what can I do?
You can't feel, but can you share a laugh?
I tried my hardest, isn't it enough?
I let my pride stand in our way
I'm too to blame
But one can't make it on its own
If the other one won't come along
Are we ready to do this?
I just don't think so
My heart could've been in your hands
If you hadn't hurt it so
Sitting here, wishing I
Could help you understand my mind
But just when I thought I...
Maybe this is the wrong thing to do
Writting love lyrics about you
Maybe this is gonna make worse
The gap between you and me both
And in the end, when there's no hope
Maybe all I'll want to know
Is will you love me when I'm gone.

But I couldn't touch you
I couldn't free you from your pain
I could only watch
Watch you battle onwards
You ran the race
You fought the fight
But they always leave out that part
Where the warrior sees himself
And wants to die
You whispered to yourself
Because you had no one to turn to
You didn't know me
But cried out to me in the night
And when at last you turned
To end it
I made a choice
I saved you
But ended myself
At least the way I was before
I gave up everything for you
You never even knew
But now you're alive
And you're happy
I watch you from the shadows
Not above like I used to be
I should have bitterness towards you
But I regret nothing
My eternal purgatory isn't going to end
You ask me was it worth it?
I say yes

If your seeing someone else
Why is your shadow, at my door?
I won't let you in
Won't let you in
Won't let you in
As stupid as that sounds.
I gave you up
For someone else
And she just threw you away.
And you've moved on
You've carried on
Without a single hitch
I'm a solitary thinker.
Since you looked at me
Since she loved you too
Since we all split up
Since I love you still.
Funny how that is
Cause I never said it
Never said it.
But then again,
You never said it either,
But I think you thought so too.
Since I laughed with you
Since I gave you up
You gave up on me
I still regret it.
I've tried to come to terms.
If your seeing someone else,
Why wont your shadow leave?
I'm trying hard to forget
My heart still keeps you there
Solar Flare HomicideThe morning light creeps in slowly under the gap in the blinds, it reaches for your shoulders as you sleep, caught between dreams and an unyielding coma. Sun claws at the curtains, dragging its' talons curiously. I fidget awkwardly, trying not to wake you, keeping even my thoughts a low tapping hum. Half awake, you reach for my waist, your fluid hand in the arch of my back, tanned arm slung half-heartedly across the sheets. Any second your eyes flicker half open, half awake, half aware; your heavy breathing a cool breeze over my face. Sun rays peek from the gap in the blinds, throwing light across your face and collapsing the burning silhouette of dark falling across your cheeks.Solar Flare Homicide1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
