Sam opened his eyes and stretched before sitting up in his bunk. He felt a bit groggier than usual this morning and his limbs were leaden and weighed down. He punched the bunk above him a few times, Jay mumbled something incomprehensible before rolling over in his bunk and started snoring again almost immediately. Sam shook his head and decided right there that the thing he missed most about living on a planet was having a room to himself. It took an extra amount of effort to climb out of his bunk, and it was starting to dawn on him that it might be more than early morning sleepiness dogging him. He stood there quietly listening to the ship for a few seconds; the rumble from the torch was definitely a bit louder than it had been so they were going somewhere in a hurry. There hadn't been an alert though so it couldn't be an emergency. He shrugged and shook Jay's arm a few times, "T

I troll DA often and I come across alot of people who really crave some good art direction for themselves. Alot of people just don't know what to do or how to discipline themselves to improve their artwork/art journey. I remember when I was new to DA and at the same time new to taking artwork seriously (art school and such) that I was at a total loss at what I was doing. I had no direction, nobody would offer any advice and worse yet I was way too inexperienced to figure out that I had to ask for help. I didn't know about getting help lol. So, I was wondering around aimlessly for years.....yes, YEARS! I know at least one of you can vouch for that, as you followed me along my art journey.
So, with that said, I also don't notice any of these floating around DA. This isn't a guide to getting popular. If you're here to be popular, chances are it wont happen (because thats how karma rolls), or you'll achieve it but it will come with great sadness (drama)

Don't get Silver wrong, he loved being around Kotone (though he won't openly admit it) and being in love with her has its moments. But in between their love..... WHO THE HELL IS THIS THIRD GUY?!
"Oh Morty, you're so sweet!" Kotone smiled brightly when the Ghost-type master complimented her looks.
Okay, get this: after their battle at the Plateau, Kotone wanted to do some sight-seeing with Silver. She insisted that Silver take some time off from training and go out with her more. Seeing that she wanted to spend more time with him sent Silver to the seventh-heaven. Yet again, oblivious to his war against himself, Kotone dragged Silver all the way to Ecruteak, to check out the Bell Tower and take some pictures. It was a nice day, the Pidgeys were flying about as they walked through the Bellchime Trail. But just as they were about to reach their destination, who of all people decides road-block their path? None other than the Ecruteak Gym Leader himself, Mor

That was the first thing I was aware of.
Shortly following, I gained a shape, body, personality, and an odd craving for spice.
But then something changed. The numbers shifted, and the colours on parts of my body became different. I didn't really mind; I was still myself.
Next, the numbers surrounding me faded and I found myself on ground, which happened to be lightly coloured dirt. Grass surrounded me, but I paid no mind to it. Instead, my attention was on the teenage boy in front of me. His hair looked white and I couldn't really see his face. I saw he was holding something purple, and after a moment he tossed it into the air.
The next thing I knew, I was inside something. I wiggled, pushing on all sides of this tiny confinementbut it refused to budge. After a few tries, I gave up. Whatever I was in, I wasn't getting out.
Some time later, I have no idea how long; I was suddenly pushed out of my prison. The boy was back, standing in front of me and holding out something.

Lillil grunted in frustrated irritation. Her leafy hands held the beautiful perfectly sewn skirt, swaying the attire in front of her trainer. Its length was quite short above the knees; bright pink with laces of blue. The Lilligant had taken quite a surprising hobby these past few days – one that especially surprised Isaac the most – and she was joyful when the Flowering Pokémon had finished her first creation. Excited to the bone, she immediately sought White and gave it as a gift.
Sadly, White had forgotten she's a woman, sometimes.
'At least try it out! I made this especially for you! Besides, you need to wear something decent other than that butt ugly shorts and baggy jeans! Seriously!' Lillil stuck out her tongue in disgust, degrading White's poor taste in fashion sense. The Pokémon may be a stubborn h

A tournament His mind stopped on those words. He tilted his head slightly to the left, teeth lightly clenching the inside of his cheek. An invitation was received this morning as he visited the Pokemon Center stationed near the infamous mountain. At first he didn't care, for he thought it was just another fanmail.
But as he opened the envelope, for the first time in few years, he actually showed a glint of shock.
The ticket stayed in the pocket of his jacket. It lingered there for two hours since he reached the peak. The man was still confused, yet very tempted to participate.

It was entirely too cold in Prowl's room. What with the open roof and the cold December air filtering through the red seeker could only shake as his circuits threatened to freeze together.
"Tell me again Autobot why you have to have a Primus forsaken hole in your ceiling?" Starscream asked, annoyance coloring his tone. Prowl's lips quirked slightly at the obvious discomfort of the seeker and he scooted closer, placing a hand on one wing.
"Nature is beautiful Starscream, you should really learn to appreciate it some time." He replied, visor brightening with a hint of amusement. Starscream scoffed quietly, leaning into the hand that was currently caressing his wing. He reached out and placed his clawed hands on Prowl's waist, stroking the seams there ever so g
Tough Cookie White frowned as she gazed upon nothing in particular. His lips were curved upside-down for almost half an hour. If she kept her stance much longer, it might stay permanent on her face. It was bad enough her period had decided to 'stop by' and demolish her entire female reproductive system to a point where she couldn't do anything except stay still and hiss at the sun, but the fridge was out of chocolate.
And although that seemed like such a small matter, White was questionably infuriated that they were out of sugary treats.
It didn't help that N came at a bad time and annoyed her.
Well, to be frank, he didn't annoy her. He merely walked into the kitchen and happily cheered, "Good morning,
Obsession - Anthro Luxray TF"Nice work, Luke!" Adam praised. A charred Staravia, still sparking every so often from Luke's Thunder Fang attack, was spread on the ground before the lithe, leonine power plant. Normally, Adam was averse to fighting, but the black-haired, sapphire-eyed trainer made an exception whenever someone insulted or underestimated Luke, a Luxray he had raised from a wounded Shinx. The regal beast vanished into his commander's PokéBall - his only PokéBall - after an approving "Lux!" Adam would never admit that he was technically an unlicensed trainer; he had found that Shinx as a kid, and none of the Sinnoh starters caught his fancy. By the time he was ten, he had become well-situated to his Luxio, more so than the new trainers were with their flaming monkeys, grassy turtles, and icy penguins.
But it was when his Luxio grew into a magnificent Luxray that Adam began to get obsessed. The black and blue lion was elegant...

"He's here, he's here!" A shadow passed along the ground as the avia flew overhead, calling.
As Shari's legs burned in pain, he ran. As his wounds seared, he ran. After he expended every last ounce of energy, he ran, and he ran, and he ran.
"He's here, he's here," the voice echoed between the massive structures, giving the reverb of the high-pitched squawking a sharp metallic ring.
Shari ran until there was nothing left but a cold sensation that demanded he move, but it was impossible for his body to respond. He looked, seeing blurry shadows of the collapsed walls around the ruins. He collapsed, wedged between a pile of rubble and the wall. He tried to pull his cloak over himself, but even with the will, neither of his arms moved any longer, nor his legs, nor his head, nor even his eyes.

She was tending her tree when the deer found her. His eyes rolled with terror and his sides heaved. It took her many minutes to calm the young buck. When she finally succeeded, he told her that he had run from the far side of the forest, that fire was loose in the woods. She sang soothing songs and let him rest below her branches in soft green grass until he well rested. He nervously continued on away from the towering plume of smoke in the east. She raised a hand to shield her eyes as she took it in, but in the same glance, she saw rain clouds sweeping in from the south and smiled. The rogue flame would be out by the next day's dawn.
But it wasn't. The clouds had swept in to do battle with the fire, but every drop of water had evaporated before it could touch the tips of the hungry monster. The plume of smoke was now a growing curtain, spreading wider and wider, lit from below by a threatening glow. She watched worriedly. A few of the larger creatures of the forest had already fled. A

As her eyes fluttered open, she wished she had remained asleep.
Her head hurt. She was not sure if she had been beaten or drugged, but assumed it was probably both. Her vision was blurry which made the scene around her even more terrifying. She could make out that she was in some sort of dark chamber, a dim light coming from a door at the end of the room. She felt something scurry past her leg and at first she was curious as to what it was, until she heard the distinct squeaking noise.
A scream left her lips and she suddenly found the strength to sit up and pull back. She blinked wildly and that helped her vision to clear. She saw the scared gray rat scurry into the corner.

Though natural wormholes could be many sizes, technology dictated a minimum three miles diameter. Every wormhole required an entry and exit point, stable holes on either side to function. These minimums had been constant for nearly seven thousand years. Enemies of the krakun had every reason to reduce the size, radiation signature, or necessity of an exit point, but some fundamental force prevented stability on any of these fronts. At least, so far as Ateri knew; some distant race could have solved the problem, but he had no method of attaining such knowledge, since his communications came through krakun news feeds.
Artificial gates, being high-maintenance, could not run without a crew. The krakun designed the White Flower II to carry a gate as efficiently (and cheaply) as possible. "Efficient" included its entire complement who, save for the commissioner, were locked away inside it. Because the mission lasted far longer than non-krakun would survive even on a cursory voyage, the ship

Sam heard the thunder from the engines of the L-ROV in front of theirs as it roared down the runway and took off. That put them next in line. The engines pitched up slightly then fell off again as they nudged the ship into moving again. They bounced and jostled slightly as the pilot taxied them onto the runway then stopped again and waited for clearance. Roja looked like she was on a roller coaster as it approached the first drop. Sam leaned into his seat, closed his eyes and tried very hard not to think about all of the things that could go wrong.
The L-ROV's engines pitched up to a roar and the ship rapidly picked up speed. Sam felt them swerve and jolt as the pilot fought to keep it pointed down the runway. I have a bad feeling about today.
I got up and did my routines for the day, and then set off for my walk. My sister's 'Be safe!' words echoing in my mind. Once I had stepped outside my house, after putting my cloak on, I started sensing my way around the village. Sedo village. My home.
The reason why I was sensing my way around is because I'm blind. Well, not entirely. I made myself blind so then they don't find me. If I conceal my apparently 'special' powers, they won't notice me. Or, that's how it's been for my whole life. I can see things if I put my mind to it, but only the outlines of people and buildings and objects. It sucks, but I've learnt to put up with it. At least I'm not getting chased by them anymore. I can finally be normal.
As I was walking, feeling the sun on my cloak and taking in the smell of freshly baked food at the inn, I heard the galloping of a horse stop near me.

The ninjabot let out an exasperated sigh as he onlined his optics, visor flickering to life. Bumblebee stood in front of Prowl, hands on his hips with a smug smirk on his face.
"What is it now Bumblebee?" The golden and black bot asked, annoyance clear in his voice. Bumblebee moved a little closer as he replied, "Aw, c'mon Prowl! You still haven't given me that axel grease!" Prowl gave him an incredulous look as he watched Bee.
