Ever since they both left Skyloft, Link seemed to handle the drawbacks really nicely, be those enemies that needed to be defeated, requests from the sky folks, help that needed to be offered, puzzles that needed to be solved and so on. Fi was (to not say surprised, for she could not yet feel anything with depth) slightly taken aback by the speed that the young adult could fit into the violent world he was thrown into; he had some sword lessons before, but it was not a real battle experience, nor real-time reactions to attacks. She was almost satisfied with his fast progress - the spirit of the hero within his body was growing very fast.
However, she noticed the boy had been feeling exhausted - he had not much time to rest; he was getting more and more dark rings around his eyes (and, according to her database, Link was an

The White Goddess bowed down and took the cold skinned hero in her arms. She could not hear the man's heart beating anymore. The Goddess spoke to him softly. Explaining the hero's destiny. Explaining his painful life full of suffering.
Even she knew, Link wouldn't hear.
A sparkling tear rolled down the Goddess Hylia's cheek and dropped on the face of the hero. The goddess regretted her choice. Her people were saved now, yes, but she had sacrificed a very good man.
The man she had loved the most of her people.
The man, she still loved.
The man, who had loved her back.
Another tear dropped.
A tear of the Goddess.
"I will ensure that your gentle, heroic spirit will live on eternally..." she quietly promised to her hero while more tears fell down.
Drip, drop. Drip, drop.
The silent cry of the Goddess.
Her voice had turned only to a whisper. "And I..." she said, "I shall shed my divinity. The next time we meet, I wish to stand before you as a simple human..."

A Cold Lament
In the mist of Space, the Spaceship of Lord Cooler the Icejin floated carelessly.
Cooler was sitting in his hovering-throne on the front platform, hanging in the air unmoved, staring blankly at the multiple screens before him. He stared expressionlessly, his cheek resting on his fist, planting his elbow on the arm of his throne. The room he was in was the main room, where most of his important men worked at, searching around Space in order to continue the path of his father's business.
But he was alone. His men realised how lonely he wanted to be, and they all knew that he was thinking something deep, too deep for anyone to comprehend. He never spoke a word about his past to anyone, nor did he ever smile, or frowned, or cried. He was always blanked-face, and showed nothing to anyone. It was clever, but even the Great prince Cooler had to be alone at times.
Cooler had no one to talk to, but in order to be a great leader; he did not bother talking to hi

Things to know
-This story directly follows Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. In part two (chapters 16-30) the fanfic goes into how OoT/MM would tie into Twilight Princess. Knowledge of these stories is recommended with OoT being the most important to know.
-Rated PG-13 for violence, intense moments, and minor swearing (*contains no guts-n-gore, and no torture. Also has no yaoi or sexual content.)
The light hearted/humor vs dark/angst balance and level of violence/intensity is comparable to the anime Fullmetal Alchemist.
-This starts off as a "slice of life" story for the first two chapters, but trust me plenty of action and intense moments lie ahead.
-I worked very hard to make all this fit into the games and to create a sense of history for aspects that were left unexplained. I have played these three

Black tendrils snaked its way towards the branches, connected to a white figure. Violet eyes turned oily, a grin spreading across its face. A dress on its body, the edges drenched and dripping with blood, soaking into the ground. Dark, purplish veins cut through the skin as the body hovered half a foot off the ground.
Its arms reached out to grab hold of an unfortunate victim, its grip tight. After a heartbeats pause, the victim was torn apart..

People told Matthew he was the spitting image of his father, Isaac. At first he didn't believe it, then he got to thinking. His dad, Isaac, was very well-liked by the townsfolk, before he was born and even now. Of course, that's probably because he is a Hero of Vale. He was very quiet too. Isaac told Matthew stories about how his friends would always ask him questions,

She was reading the Golden Sun Saga books to her best friend, Matthew. It's not that Matthew couldn't read; he was just in the mood to hear it from Karis, who wanted to read it anyway. At first, Matthew was exited to hear about the epic adventure of Isaac and his friends again. However, like many teen boys, Matthew had a short attention span. "Happy is he among men upon earth who has seen these mysteries!
It is generally accepted among historical scholars that the cult of Demeter and Persephone, or Kore, existed in Greece and the surrounding Mediterranean islands long before the traditional Olympian gods became entrenched. Her origins are Cretan . Like Aphrodite, the mother and daughter goddess represent a matriarchal form of fertility worship in the forms of crops and nature, and through this the cycle of birth, growth and death. This myth, however, has taken hold of imaginations from its evolutions into the Eleusinian mysteries of Ancient Greece, to the paintings of Victorian Europe, to today, each with their own distinctive takes and emphases on the story. Perhaps it is the fact that we know so little about the original tale of Persephone the daughter of Demeter, goddess of fertility, snatched

He continued scowling as he and Rukia walked quietly the rest of the way to the Kurosaki Clinic. Orihime was throwing a surprise party for Ichigo and, no surprise to Renji, he was forced to come. Naruto wasn't here, though, and Iruka doubted very much that fifteen-year-old needed him badly enough to trigger that sense in him when nothing else had for years. No, it had to be someone else, someone close to him.

If Kakashi were in enough danger to trigger his sixth sense like this then Tsunade would just have to deal with it.

He was late. He was beyond late. The mission was supposed to last only a week, and here he was getting back nearly three months later. Tsunade had informed him that, up until he'd walked through the main gates they had assumed he was dead. They'd even had his funeral two days ago.
