Black-HeartOh look at her with ivory eyes,
Striking the velvet veil of starless skies.
Is she a draconian demon ready to bring ruin,
Upon those that ripped her life apart,
With every pulsating beat of her black-heart?
Oh look at her with crimson claws,
Maiming the satin skin of monstrous maws.
Is she a bedlam beast desiring to grant devastation,
Upon those who mocked her for a start,
With all the wild begging of her black-heart?
Oh look at her with ebony breath,
Purging the flaxen flesh of devilish death.
Is she a cruel creature who wields her earthly wrath
Upon all who took to hurt with such art,
With the aching echoes of her black-heart?
October RainUpon sombre shores of sorrow,October Rain2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I'll bide my time and wait,
For that onslaught of old October rain.
Those twilight tears wash away,
All my misery and all my pain,
Along bitter beaches of banality,
I'll forget my wants and needs,
For that oblivion of opaque October rain.
Spits of sadness turn sand into clay,
As my mood falls apart in vain.
In weary waters of worry,
I'll endure my death and fate,
For that oscillation I call October rain.
In that sweet shower I fail to say,
How could it have returned again?
Ready To IgniteMy chest feels like a furnace,Ready To Ignite3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And my lungs are on fire.
Death is my mind's only desire;
But I will carry on with bitter grace,
Knowing my ashes may leave no trace.
My chest feels like a grenade,
And my heart is about to explode.
Shall I continue down this road?
But now I stop because I am afraid,
That the life I lead may never be saved.
My chest feels like an anvil,
And my ribs feel like lead.
In my palms is black blood that bled,
But I am scared so much my stare is still,
With bleak eyes I accept misery for good or ill.
When Push Comes To ShoveWhen push comes to shove,When Push Comes To Shove2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I know times will get tough.
Hell I don't need an angel from above,
To recite rhymes of reality,
And to say that life is going to be rough.
When push comes to shove,
I stand on such fragile ground.
Oh I wish I could fly away like a dove,
To soar silently in sobriety,
And never hear my death in that sound.
When push comes to shove,
I realise that the task is up to me.
But I cannot do this alone my love,
To pursue this poison called poetry,
And forever may I lack eyes with which to see.

Scarred spirits in black blasts,
Fearless fighters dive in with emotion,
As fire flames through bricks fast,
How dying suffers not the living or rest.
Mushrooms of malice rupture in rhyme,
Ambiguous armies are attending,
Love ones consider clamouring and the climb,
Up rubble rash and red by blood so bleak,
Faces not foes, friends, freaks.
Uranium irks the system safe,
Where leaders leak and rulers reek,
Of guilt and guile in fleeing faith,
Now survivors and soldiers seek,
To judge and try the tyrants of tomorrow.

What have you done to me?
I am alone and everyone has died,
Was it more than words of weary woe,
Or silence that made them leave?
Dear Mr. Reality,
Where are you right now?
I am scared and everything has gone,
Was it only little things in turbulent times,
Or a catastrophe I did not know?
Dear Mr. Reality,
Why couldn't you just be dead?
I am upset and everywhere has vanished,
Was it just me screwing up social salutations,
Or mere fantasy of realism instead?
The nuclear worldIn the pitch of black where even fears existThe nuclear world3 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
You live within your hollowed concrete passages,
Walls that once were white are now scarred black
Times awfull curse racing against you.
Upon a surface of a world once traversed
There lies debris of coloured walls lit by rays of gold,
Who masters this new world-- her old master so foriegn to her now
To stand in this hostile world unprotected is to allow ones self to be given the plague.
The new earth so foriegn even decimates your safe walls
The Light you once lived in has been replaced by the dark you scurry in,
Even as you sleep your eyes remain open like the rats you once exterminated
Your masters of old have turned you into that which you despised the most.
In your new world there are singing pipes, whispering winds and sneaking darkness
nothing is as it seems within the hollowed walls that once held great moving giants,
death creeps in these old walls hidding within plane sight among those who demand you die for their ideologies
First TimeIt's as if my whole life had been lived in the shadows,First Time2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And yet I was blissfully unaware of the light.
Before her, I swore I knew what it was like to see,
But now I can look back at how blind I truly was.
It was her smile that illuminated my life,
And her brilliance that finally opened my eyes.
It was her fire that melted away my defenses,
And it was her heart that was key to unlocking mine.
She taught me that there was a world beyond the darkness;
Another place where pain and anguish could disappear.
For the first time in my life I'm right where I belong,
And though I'm scared, I know it's all going to be all right.
Praise be to Cupid, whose arrows surely pierced my heart.
And to Venus for allowing such beauty on earth.
I am a PoetYou ask me who I am , where did I come fromI am a Poet2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I say: I am a poet, I was born out of the blazing silk of my words
My heart is an eternal rebel, since the dawn of creation
I'm the master of my own words, the keeper of God's secret
I'm the story of that rose shivering on the freezing hill
I live in that oasis of light, in a world beyond your world
The stars stare at my hopes, and hell trembles between my fingers
The night dreads my pain, the morning sleeps on my pillow
I create my words from the tissue of my veins
I weave the images from the feather of my eyelids
I wash my sins away, when I repent between the lines
My words move slowly between your palms, climb to your soul
To hug that poet, who sleeps between the chambers of your heart
When the world is mud, thorns and empty substance
I create my own, where the ground is basil and the walls are none

Than the ocean beneath them
Than the sky above them
That's how it all began
Splashes on the surface,
Into rising columns
People of the water
Alive at last
Their eyes met
As did their hands
And everything was perfect
For the Moon was the chandelier
A ballad played softly
The tides were the instruments
The wind was the voice
To the rhythm of the sea
An intricate weave
A delicate sway
Encased in each other's arms
Until the song ceased
And they melted back
Into the ocean's embrace
But the dance continues
In every breaking wave
In every tidal flow
The oceanic ballroom
Singing out forevermore
Birds Of RuinIn those final hours of June,Birds Of Ruin2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I trespass into fields of silver and gold,
Listening to birds singing a dismal tune.
Noire crows muse up high as I wander so cold,
To hear a morbid lullaby sailing through the air.
In those final hours of June,
I meander up streams of ruby and sapphire,
Watching birds dance to a song called ruin.
Sable ravens endure on oaken limbs burning in fire,
So fate is a sorrowful death with which they share.
In those final hours of June,
I lie upon sands of iron and steel,
Feeding those birds who will sing to me soon.
Ebony sparrows condemn me to a dead-man's meal,
If they be black omens: is heralds of dying their only care?

Of time that terrorises your torment:
Gaze upon her vile visage and away you go.
She stands alone in such grace,

She has her elusive eyes on your face,
Of innocence that isolates your idiocy:
Look at her sinister snarl and you'll depart too.
She watches you with utter patience,
Never whistling or winking.
She'll turn lights low in her defence,
Of malevolence that murders your mind:
Stare out to her granite guise and forget all you know.

Sirens sing sweet songs of serenity,
In a ring under the remorseless rain,
Of those dawning tears of twilight,
Heralding the end of everything.
There's nothing here for me,
And all these scars scare me,
Eyes of eternity ensnare me.
Taking apart the skin of my suffocating soul,
For all my failings of fury are foul.
There's nothing here for me,
Though all my plain plagues me,
Seizures of sorrow saves me.
Playing with the hell in my healing heart,
Then all my despair of death will depart.
There's nothing here for me,
When all those things torment me,
Cries of confusion cement me.
Containing in the woe from my wailing wake,
Where all my feelings of fear I can't forsake.

Until that which he holds most dear to his heart,
Is stolen from him, never to be seen again.
Man will never realize the consequences of his actions,
Until he makes a single mistake that ruins his life,
And the guilt eats away at his soul.
Man is incapable of knowing love,
Until his heart has been broken,
Therefore allowing him to understand loss.
Man will take everything for granted,
Until the occult hand of fate swoops from the heavens,
And snatches away all that he owns.
Man can never appreciate happiness,
Until he is overwhelmed with grief.

Whether death is clairvoyant or blind,
I deserve the dignity to question my time,
But I'll never surrender to these words I rhyme.

By the gushing crystal creeks
Whence heaven hath kissed Earthly cheeks
Far from the madding crowd.

Where admist unpolished grace
I shall deeply savor a snowy embrace
And live to climb again!

Would you see it as a circuitry of veins,
Madly manifesting itself across blackened bones?
But I won't forget when it rains all the pain,
Salivating from scarlet sides of that knife of wood.
If you could slash hard into my subtle skin,
Would you know it to be a mimicry of silicon,
Insanely invigorating itself over mildewed muscles?
But I won't forget when it snows all the blows,
Impacting from emerald edges of that dagger of sin.
If you could claw slowly into my pitiable plastic,
Would you find it more than a secrecy of nerves,
Wildly wasting itself under obliterated organs?
But I won't forget when it hails all the flails,
Singing from crimson curves of those talons of static.

But due to the fact that they were not wed,
Heavenly law was broken when they descended to bed
And it was the beginning
of the end
of the world.
And when they touched
Something stirred beneath Earth's core
And when they kissed
Comets struck across the sky
And when they caressed
An earthquake was triggered
And when they explored
A tsunami tore onto mainland
And when their hands reached out
Planes fell from the atmosphere
And when they gasped for air
Others gasped too, pulled deeper under the ocean
And when they moved together
Hurricanes took control
And when they screamed with sinful bliss
Volcanoes spewed hot magma
And when they fused and became one
The world erupted in blinding chaos
But then it stopped.
As soon as their skins ceased to touch
Peace was restored onto the planet
From every disaster there flew a dove
And humanity breathed
