A Drinking Game of Sorts"Come on, come on! Just a quick drink. I know you want to come." Percy said as she put her hand on her hip, her head tilted slightly as she looked at the striking red headed young man with her smile.A Drinking Game of Sorts2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Ciaran scratched the back of his head, then shrugged. "I guess I could do that. I wouldn't mind a break, that's for sure." He said as he returned a grin. Percy clapped her hands together, then grabbed onto his arm and started dragging him down the hallway. She enjoyed dragging her two favorite guy friends down to Hogsmeade once in a while so they could grab some fire whiskey, or whatever they fancied, and then make a run back to find a place to hide and then more than likely drink themselves stupid. It was a ritual she hoped would never get old.
Then she walked outside of the Hogwarts building with Ciaran, continuing to tug him along, but she noticed that he stopped and slowed his steps. "Woah, woah, woah." Ciaran said as he tugged his arm out of Percy's grip. He spotted standing just a fe
Under the Rain"Come on, come on! Let's go for a walk. Please? I'm really tired of sitting here." Addy begged as she tugged on Dorian's hand and Valerie's hand. She had been sitting and studying in the common room with Dorian, Valerie, Yannis and Cecillia despite their year differences she could never study by herself. She wouldn't get things done that way, but now she was bored and she wanted to go for a walk outside. Anywhere, really! She just wanted to have herself a little adventure with all her favorite people.Under the Rain2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Valerie giggled and smiled as she was pulled to her feet, not really objecting to the idea. "Alright! I think it sounds like it could be fun. Dorian, you'll come, won't you?" She said with her sweet and pleasant smile. Addy always thought Valerie was so pretty, and she wished she could be so pretty some times.
"Of course." Dorian said and nodded as he looked at Addy. "Although it looks like rain outside." He noted as he glanced out the window at the dark rolling clouds.

What Happens at Douchebag Pureblood ClubThe little gang of four treaded the streets of London together, dressed up casually as muggles so as not to draw unnecessary attention onto themselves. One was a tall blonde boy with a pale face and a phlegmatic expression, another a cheerful looking boy, the runt of the group, who occasionally took to snapping his suspenders and shooting glances at the others to see if they were watching him. The one he was watching in particular had dark shiny hair and a strangely ageless face; mainly attributed to his wild eyes, which were blue-green and so light, he looked blind. Finally there was another boy, his hair nearly as black as night, looking just as bored as the blonde one. Someone else was with them, hanging back from the group and eying them all carefully as if they'd all turn suddenly in unison and attack her, despite her being Richter's sister. The four were chatting casually about the greatest sport in the world, which may not be so great out in the open like this since muggles wereWhat Happens at Douchebag Pureblood Club2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Harry didn't know it would only be nine months when Ginny sat him down in the Weasley lounge and told him she wanted to take a break. He thought it was going to be forever.
"It's just," Ginny started, and then stopped. She bit her lip, looking sorrier than Harry had ever remembered her looking. "I have a career to think about. You don't know how hard it is to go into a Quidditch tryout as Harry Potter's girlfriend." She twisted the sleeve of her sweater until it was cutting into her wrist. "I get to hear all about what an amazing player you are and they always ask if you're going to be trying out and by the end of the interview, they don't know anything about me "
"But once they see you fly," Harry interjected, "it won't matter. You're great!"
"Yeah, I am," she said flatly. "But not as good as you. And I never will be. See, I worked really, really hard to be as good as I am and you just did it naturally. I'll never beat that." She

WARDED TO EVERYONE AT CAMP.
so I feel like everyone is sort of avoiding talking about what happened and I think maybe we shouldn't do that because there's a pretty good chance it'll happen again and I don't know it's just weird because it kind of feels like we should be doing something to prepare for when they come back but I feel like maybe we sort of aren't and that's making me anxious I don't know I'm sorry
also um I don't know about the rest of you but I got hit with some stuff that I didn't even know what the hell it was so I thought I would do some research and here is some dark magic stuff that maybe we everyone should know
I mean I guess we all know about the Unforgivables but I'll put them in anyway
1. Killing Curse - um, kills you, obviously... basically if you see any green sparks do NOT take the chance and don't try to just use a shield because I don't think any shield charm we can cast is gonna stop this thing so just get out of t
in between daysOnce Curtis gave him a sailboat in a bottle. Sometimes Wesley looks at it, holding it gingerly between his hands. He's afraid of jostling it too hard; he's afraid it'll collapse.in between days1 year ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Sometimes Wesley looks at Curtis and Curtis looks back and there's the sense that they both get it, suddenly and without saying it, and then they laugh it off.
Wesley tells Curtis he loves him by accident as they're checking the grades posted outside their class. Curtis is grinning and his eyes are so green; he says something funny and Wesley laughs and says it, just blurts it out. Curtis shoots him a look like he's weird or crazy or both and then laughs a little. "You too, man," he says. "C'mon, we got class."
Wesley obediently follows Curtis to class but once there, he can't concentrate on spells or charms. He can only think that he's not that sort of person the type who tells their friends they love them like, regularly but he's also not the kind of person who tells someone he loves them witho
Escalate Charlie awoke in the hospital wing without really waking. Her mind whirred slowly, enveloped in a deep fog, and her body felt disconnected. She blinked trying to bat the fog away. It lifted slightly and she saw sunlight streaming into the room. Beds lined the opposite wall, many of whose occupants were obscured from view by other people. Was she visiting Baxter, Len, and Jake in the hospital wing again? That didn't make sense, they'd been released months ago. Charlie realized she wasn't entirely sure what month it was. Confusion combined with a sudden bout of nausea as she tried to sit up, and Charlie had to shut her eyes to keep herself from vomiting. Pain wracked her body, from the very top of her head, down all the way to her toes. Even the pain seemed distant, though. There was a hand pushing her gently into what felt like pillows. ShatteredHe laid there in stillness, the only part of his body he could move were the fingers on his left hand. He could only see out of one eye, the other eye was in horrible pain and refused to work, leaving him partially blind. His body was completely pinned by masses of rubble from an explosion, which left him broken more than he had ever been before. He could barely breathe and he was sure it would only be moments before his ribs finished cracking and actually broke and popped both lungs.Shattered2 years ago in Scraps More Like This
He turned his head a bit as the ringing in his ears finally stopped and he could actually hear sounds. He heard voices, familiar ones. His sister and Curtis, he was sure. He knew he couldn't move, so he couldn't get their attention, but he could talk. No, they wouldn't be able to hear him. His lungs would explode if he tried to yell, so it was hopeless. He'd just have to wait for them to find him. He hoped they'd find him before he died, because he knew he was going to die.
"Why Theo, why "
Somewhere Alone In the BitternessCurtis stood quietly next to his little sister as they watched the dirt being shoveled into the two graves that sat next to each other. He'd only been out of school for a year and now he was an adult. His plans to continue his education were out the window, as now he was the legal guardian for his little sister Ceres. He knew he had his Aunt and Uncle that could take care of Ceres if he really did want to continue his education, but he felt responsible for her. He felt like he shouldn't abandon her, especially after all those long years of not even acknowledging her.Somewhere Alone In the Bitterness2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
On top of that stress he also had to make a visit to Theo. His cousin and his most favorite person in the whole world. Theo had gotten involved with a lot of dangerous things, and Curtis hadn't seen him in years except for a few times in passing when both were on opposite ends of the war. He'd heard that Theo had some mental disabilities now and was most likely to remain at St. Mungo's for treatment of some sort. Curtis wa
The Aches of Reality"Oh good lord, Amber. Just ask the guy on a date." Percy said as she rolled her eyes and chuckled. She rubbed her hands together and her nose was a bit pink from the chill of the day. She was walking towards the Quidditch pitch with Amber as they planned to watch some of the practicing going on there, and Percy thought Amber was pretty good company. She also seemed to be having trouble talking to a guy she was crushing on and Percy always liked to try and solve those kinds of problems, oddly enough. She disliked it greatly when girls always seemed to think it was best to leave it up to the men to ask them out first. If you like a guy enough you ask the guy if he wants to hang out, and that was that. Never leave it up to chance, because the good ones always go fast. Not that Percy had ever had experience with any of the good ones. She preferred relationships that weren't attached much. The Aches of Reality2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Popular DemandA tall, dark haired figured stood before the door to the house where his best friend had apparently been hiding out. He hadn't seen him for a good amount of time due to the war sending him running this way and that. He knew Noah was busy protecting his sister for the majority of the time, so that left little time for visits and Richter had his own family to think about but he missed him.Popular Demand2 years ago in Scraps More Like This
A tall figure opened the door a moment later and looked a bit surprised at first and then smirked. "You finally decided to pay me a visit? Took you long enough." He said as he opened the door enough for Richter to walk in.
He walked inside and slipped off his cloak, then turned around and looked at him. "How have you been doing? Is Cecillia here?" He asked. He knew recently Noah had lost his father, but it wasn't any actual loss to him. Richter actually noted that Noah had changed in a good way after his father died. It was amusing and rather sad at the same time.
"No, she's not at the moment. She
