Quiet - Jason Todd/Dick GraysonHe was found behind a building, using a bunch of newspapers and parts of torn cardboard as a bed. He covered up with his jacket as his blanket.
The way that Jason was living, Dick found it quite pathetic. So pathetic, it made him feel horrible. It made him feel sorry that he didn't find him sooner. But that wasn't in his power. After searching for so long with no luck, Bruce was on the verge of giving up, and thinking that it would be no use. He told Dick to not stress over it, and that it's not his problem. He couldn't be a part of it.
So, of course, he felt bad when he found him. With what condition he was in, he couldn't bring him back to Bruce right away. He found him sleeping, shaking, with watery eyes. It was dark, and had to be no later than eleven at night.
He held onto his waist, and brought him to his feet. Jason stayed as still as possible, and Dick had to take his arms, and place them around his neck so that he could get a better hold of him. Dick was a little disappointed

“NOOOOOOO” Nightwing yelled at the top of his lungs. Red Hood dove and caught me, slowly placing me on the ground. The rain was intense yet comforting; I looked down and saw the blood escaping my body. Red Robin kicked Harley Quinn to the floor and came rushing towards me. Batman knocked Joker out and stood in disbelief. “Out of the way, Robin...Oh god” Nightwing was hesitant about touching my wound. “Grayson” I struggled to say with the breath I had left I looked at Batman....”Father.....” he dropped down beside me.
The Joker slowly got up chuckling like a manic, “Well another bird boy down hey?” Jason immediately stood up pointing his gun at Joker “Me...That was alright but a kid? That’s just sick” he said as he shot Joker in the arm.

Clack clack clack!
The subtle sound of fingers racing across keys of a laptop wakens me from my light sleep. To any normal human the noise would be nothing more than a whisper, but to me, they're as loud as a shout. Especially since it's the distinct sound of Tim's keyboard.
He's up late again...
I sit up in his bed and rub the sleep from my eyes as I slide off of my soft bed. Without making a single sound I follow the clacking, walking out into the hallway, down a few stairs, and into the main sitting room. It doesn't take me long to spot the slim figure of my boyfriend sitting cross-legged on top of one of the large couches, slightly illuminated by the white-blue light of his laptop screen. His fingers haven't taken a single break yet, still working furiously to accomplish whatever task their owner had set for them since I had first heard them. I can't keep the slight smile from crossing my lips.

The first time Dick said this, earlier that day, Bruce thought it was referring to him. Considering he was wearing the Batsuit at the time, it was more than a little surreal. Mommy is a definite first as far as names the Batman has been called go.
"Mommy's not here, Dick." Bruce tries for a gentle tone, adding a pat on the little head for good measure.
It isn't enough, though: Dick frowns, and puts his hands up, clearly asking to be taken out of the cart. Perhaps it's better not to indulge him, but Bruce does so, anyway. Dick at this age is terribly small, fitting easily into Bruce's big, clumsy arms.

Knocking rubble off his back, Batman looked up, thankful that most of the roof above his head had remained intact, but it was only a matter of time before it gave in. With a new sense of urgency be began to gather Dick more securely in his arms.

He'd said to come down to the Batcave immediately, without any question. He didn't say it was a mission. He didn't say it was urgent. Just to get down there.

The bickering between Kid Flash and Robin was nothing new. The visits Robin made to the mountain were getting rarer, especially since school had started in Gotham and all the criminals were getting rowdier again; Robin often found himself spending more time at Arkham Asylum than his own home. But even then, he still managed to find a few minutes every once in a while to stop in and visit Mt. Justice. Getting annoyed by Wally was hardly unusual (since the speedster did seem to know the locations of everybody's buttons and exactly how hard to push them) and usually it wasn't serious. The two would fight, then laugh, then fight some more, then get distracted by something entirely humorless and mundane, and then laugh some more, and then go home.
But today it was different. Robin was...whining? And why was Wally laughing ahead of schedule? And what was that strange sound in the background? And why did it sound like...them?
