Look at it go! I think this one's much harder than the original. S'fun though. Try it.

I'm not giving anybody any hints.

Can you open the stone portal and unleash the power within? I bet you can't.

So, this is my little flash game. Not so much a game, I suppose, as a little interactive world of bizarity. But it is possible to 'win', so it's going under games. If you want help, click the little question mark.

This has been in the works for a while; I just had that final motivation to finish it today. It's like my other games on here, but with more Lemmings and less Samorost. Enjoy.

If I ever end up updating this it'll be the version at [link] , not here.

Edit: You'll need Flash Player 8.

Please don't ask me how to solve it. That defeats the purpose of a game.

I played Hapland ([link]) many times, and decided to make something similar. There are 2.9 levels to it. All of them are very easy. I wasn't going to originally use stick figures, but I decided they were much easier. I also couldn't find very good sound effects.

Mario Forever Flash - There isn't much to say. Making this game took overall 4 months - 3 months took me engine (And mind you, this is my first engine, the same as in Squario) and 1 month Levels.

There is one thing I wanted to say though. I will never ever make Mario styled platformer. Never! (I hope).

I did all the coding, level designing, and graphics ripping, graphic processing, preparing, audio processing and stuff. All except MAKING the actual graphics :).

All ingame graphics are copyright to Nintendo.
All menu graphics are copyright to Softendo.com.

Okay, guys. You just have to see this. I just want to say though, before you do, that I am not the original discoverer of this effect. I don't know who was, although I haven't seen it in Flash before.

Directions for Use (actually read them!)

Look at the pretty Flash animation. If your computer isn't fast enough to play it smoothly in your browser, hit download and watch it by opening the file.

Okay, so here's what you do.

Stare into the centre of the pattern for about 5 minutes or so. Seriously, take the time and do it. You want the full effect here, not some half-baked lazy ass substitute. Your eyes might go blurry. That's good. Before long it might look like you're watching the squares plummet continuously into a time vortex - that's good too. Just don't be tempted to look away until you're sure you've been at it for the full five minutes.

Okay, now the cool part. Look away from the animation. I dunno, look at a poster on your wall, or some furniture. Something 2-3 metres away.

Edit (1/7/06)
If you like this effect, ~Xinos just found this program on the internet (it's tiny, you should download it) which you run and it does the same only about 20 times stronger. It's scary!
