Sage 4The car was warm but Sage knew how cold it would probably be outside and looked down at her clothes, which would be insufficient in these conditions. Natasha handed her a jacket and an open phone, which she put to her ear. "Sage,"
"Father," she put the phone between her shoulder and ear while shrugging the jacket on, nodding a thanks to the Black Widow.
"How are you doing? You're not hurt are you?" he went into a fit of coughing immediately afterwards, causing her to make a frown. She would worry about his condition and the expression, she knew, would fit it.
"I am fine father; not a scratch on me. I have enough medication to last until I get back. How is your condition?"
"I'll admit that it's not the best sweetheart; I may go any time this week to tell you the truth."
"I'm sorry father, if I could do something to help you I most certainly would."
"I know sweetie; just be safe for me okay? And listen to Tony when I'm gone?"
"I will dad; I love you."

The recurve bow was an accustomed weight in my left hand, along with the quiver full of arrows on my back. I took another deep breath and shot at the three targets, which were really only trees; never shooting at the same one twice in succession, like dad had taught me.
The twelve arrows were buried deeply into the centers of the three targets within he space of a minute; I was getting faster. A smile split my face as I went to retrieve them; my aim was slightly high and to the left, but that was why I came here, to improve.
I had pulled eleven of them out, struggling on the last one because it was stuck, when the sound of hoofbeats reached my ears. The Ranger! I pulled vainly at the last one for a second before deciding to risk leaving it and running into the nearby forest as quickly and quietl

"Aw, we were having fun," Sahara whined as she shifted back to her human form, tolerating as she was dragged gently by her leg over the rocky ground and ignoring the painful scrapes developing on her bare skin.
"Yeah, we were having fun," Kaleb shifted as well, his small form naked as well as he supported his sister's argument; pulling his leg free so that the two older wolves had to stop and shift as well.
"It's time for your baths; you're both absolutely filthy," they told the two kids, who looked to be around seven, before picking up their squirmy forms and carrying them over to the bathing pool, where a few other young werewolves were being bathed as w

Incubus "Incubus." The girl accused, spitting and sneering at me. I just had to grin.Incubus2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Yes. So?" she had woken up the second I touched her, but she was just too pretty to just leave-be because she was awake. Her lean frame curled into a ball away from me; her bright blond hair falling sleep-thrown and knotted down past slender shoulders.
"Leave me alone. I'm awake now." I grinned wider and crawled closer to her. She shied away. I made her bright blue eyes meet my dark brown ones. "Please don't hurt me " she whimpered.
"I wouldn't hurt you, not ever." I promised, she bit her lip and still looked scared. I touched her arm lightly and she froze. "Settle down a bit, relax." I made a bottle of wine appear as well as a glass. She stared at it as I poured the liquid and offered her some.
"How do I know it's not poison?" she asked. I chuckled and took a sip.

Rangers 12I sighed after Cera left, leaving me alone with the two Rangers. "Did you really have to push her?" the question was on the tip of my tongue but I managed to keep it inaudible. "Please forgive her for behaving like she is," I stated instead. "Why is that?" one of them asked; I think it was Halt but I wasn't quite familiar with their voices yet to be able to tell.
"Dad had hid something from her; she practically worshiped him. And you Rangers upset her too, you have no idea just how much she looks up to Rangers," I told them quietly. "She absolutely admires you guys; for your talent with the bow and for the compliments and praise dad was always paying you," In fact, if I remembered correctly, it was a little secret fantasy of hers to become a Ranger. I didn't tell them that though, that would be a betrayal of trust to say aloud.
"Admires?" the other one asked, looking me over. I nodded.

I dismounted as I rode up to the stables and walked inside; unsurprisingly Halt was already expecting me. "Halt we got a problem." my tone was serious. He quirked an eyebrow and I took that as a sign to continue. "Earlier I saw a girl in the possession of a Ranger horse; they're taking it to the castle to the knight school." I informed him.
He gave a slight nod. "I know."
"Just be patient."
"Ugh." How can he be so calm and sure? Who is this girl. And where did she get Rajah?

When her mood darkened her eyes went grey with the storm; the flashes of the blue light pulsating within the boundaries of her ocular cavities to mirror the sky above her. As it cleared and left the sky clean with the black night and the twinkling stars.
Talkative and fanciful she was always ready to have fun; though her emotions were as liquid as the rain and lucid as the weather she created.

"What time is it?"
"Just after dawn, I thought that you'd want to go hunting Cera," I yawned and smiled slightly.
"I do; I suppose that you'd like to come or you wouldn't have woken me?"
"Well so long as you're inviting me, sure; I'll join you," he smirked more and lifted me off of the bed, practically carrying me over to the other side of the room. I scowled and pressed away from him until he set me down.
"Just try to keep up then; and don't scare the animals." I agreed gruffly to the arrangement. He chuckled and followed me outside.
"So where are we going?"

I couldn't stop the angry edge to my voice as I snapped at him. "He taught me everything that I could benefit from as an adult. He taught me how to work hard and respect others. I do realize that I may not be acting as respectful as he would expect of me and I do hope that you will forgive me for my behavior," I sighed and watched out the window at the pouring rain.
"So you would say he taught you many of the skills Rangers are known to use?" he asked quietly.
"I am a huntress; he taught me how to hunt. Don't twist this Ranger." I very nearly growled at him, warning him not to take the thought any further. I didn't need him polluting the memory of my father.

Bo chuckled and stepped closer "How about a kiss to seal the deal?"
Lilith's smile faltered and she blushed pink "No I don't think so...I don't kiss someone unless I have feelings for them... And I only just met you..." she was no prude but she didn't go around kissing someone she just met, her kiss with Karlov flashed in her head and she felt her cheeks heat up.
'Unless she had feelings for them?' Karlov sighed internally and backed a little away from her while her back was turned. Did she have feelings for him? No that wasn't good,

"Fine, don't move your knight," she countered offhandedly. I laughed.

The girl's eyebrows lifted as she turned to her friend, shrugging as she did so. "Is she interested in you?"
"I think maybe so, I'm not entirely sure." He returned her shrug, meeting her eyes and coolly waiting for her to think over her response. Being her friend for several years now, Thomas knew better than to rush her mental processes.
"Keep a keen eye on the way she reacts. That's key, really, no matter what you do. Don't freak her out or make her uncomfortable: don't do anything she doesn't like." He nodded, remaining silent to give her time to finish her thought. "Be confident. Girls usually love that. And make your intentions clear, but work up to it. “Hold in there,” I told Archie, looking down at him through the bars, “I’ll get you out.”
His face was dirty as peered up at me. “I know.” He seemed more confident in that than I was; I could barely think straight at this point. I watched him for a minute longer before slipping away; I couldn’t be caught staying too long.
It’s a good thing that I left when I did, too; because I could hear the Gallican Lord was swaggering down the hallway towards my room. Quickly, I messed my hair up and pulled my clothes half off to make it look like I was just getting dressed. He opened the door without knocking just as I finished pulling it back up. “Anaise? Ah, you’re awake,” he spoke in Gallic.
I put a smile on my face before I turned around, “Of course, my sweet; just barely though.” It only took him a few strides until he was right in front of me, his long, bony fingers combing my hair back and

Groaning, I pulled away from him gently and started to remove the clothes, struggling blindly with the laces of the corset before I was able to even consider pulling the dress over my head. The necklace was easier to remove. Drowsily I crawl back into the bed and settle back next to Archie again, drifting back to sleep within minutes.
I sighed when I started waking up; it felt late, later than when Cera usually would wake me up, but I suppose it had been a long night for her yesterday and she'd been tired. Adjusting my position, I felt my fingers brush against bare skin and pulled back slightly. To my shock I found that she was nearly completely bare: the dress missing from her body, her breasts unwrapped. I felt my skin go hot
