Going back to canon background interpretations! :D I had intentions on drawing cloudsdale as if it were an independent pegasus monarchy. Not sure if this would quite fit the bill, but I'm still ok with how it turned out. Anyways, hope you like it!

11x14" paper! Professional graphite pencil kit! Next level drawing apparatus is complete!
The library in Canterlot we saw in the first episode, where our favorite egghead dwelt all day reading every last book in the library. Can you imagine such a feat?
I gave it a more steampunk/victorian feel to it, as if this was how it looked way back when.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't really like this one. Didn't turn out right. It's probably my lack of experience with actual art pencils.. I'm not sure if I should keep using them or not. Or maybe it's because this took me what seemed to be forever to finish it and that set my standards ridiculously high. Maybe both? well, whatever. Hope you like it more than I do.
Completion time~ 28 hours over a period of 6 days.
Oh, and heads up- the download is ridiculously massive. Proceed at your own risk!

My very first submission :D
This is my interpretation of Canterlot, drawn on a sheet of 8x11. If you compare this with the actual castle, you'll see that they are very different. I tried my best to keep the integrity of the original, but I guess I got carried away :/ Any ways, I hope you like it as much as I do! :)

Woo! I'm done. Sweet Apple Acres ftw. This was much like my Town square piece in the fact that there wasn't much room for interpretation in the original, so not much has been changed overall. Still, I gotta say this is my best work in terms of realism. :D
Completion time~ 21 hours over 5 days.

Guys. I did it. I'm done. It took me over a year, but I'm finally done!

Final height: 3' 4" (101 cm)
Final length: 3' (91.4 cm)
Final width: 1' 9" (53.3 cm)
Final weight: 100-200 lbs? (I'm not exactly sure)
Total man-hours: 625-675 hours

Now when I say I'm finished. I'm done with all aspects of sculpting. No more shaping clay, no more adding or subtracting clay, and no more detail work (actually I see a few things I might need to fix but whatever). The only thing I'll do to this sculpture now is minor cosmetic work (like smoothing out rough areas, nicks, and bumps) right before we fire it. Other than that, I'm finished. All that needs to happen now is to fire it. Which is going to be a whole other ballgame.

I just have no words to describe the relief I'm feeling right now. I've been through so many ups and downs with this project and at times I thought I'd never complete it. I had to do repairs to this thing TWICE. Each time I had to wait at least a month before I could make any progress.

Man, I just can't believe I'm done. I just want to thank everyone for their support I especially want to thanks the ones that have stuck around since the beginning (you know who you are) It just means so much to me and I'm very happy that you guys enjoy something that I'm very passionate about. I just have so much love for you guys.

If you want to see the larger individual pictures, I've posted them to my tumblr here -> [link]

I'll post updates on the firing progress in my journal. The way it's looking it might be a few weeks to a month before we get to fire it. Just stay tuned.

For a long time I have dwelled on the idea of fusing chemistry with MLPFIM; after all I've always thought of Parcly as a chemist! Now I have realised this in this three-pane comic (which is another first) about the vinylcyclopropane (VCP) rearrangement. The pun should be obvious.

I seem to have settled on a style seen in the very first picture of mine on dA (Where Are We Now?) with refinements acquired from working with the several vectors that are now in the #MLP-VectorClub.

Trying to do some more artsy shots for my sculpts....while avoiding having my neighbors see me photographing ponies behind the apartment.

This sculpt sits about 4 inches tall, is made of super sculpey, painted with acrylics and sealed with matte acrylic spray. It will be available at my booth at Bronycon.
