He'll be happy, right? Korra thought to herself, He said he wanted to have a family someday, but what if someday isn't today?
Korra bit her lip and wished she would stop thinking. No, that wasn't it. She wanted to think, but only of a way to tell Mako she was carrying his child. They've only been a couple for a little over six months. How was he going to react when he found out that she had already gotten pregnant?
Korra really had no idea how it happened. Well, she knew how it happened, but it was still a shock. They had been careful. Korra knew her cycle and what days were most likely for her to get pregnant, and they did their best to avoid making love on those days. Apparently their best wasn't enough.
Suddenly, Korra heard foot
Monsters in the NightMako is certain that he has gone crazy. Three days Korra's been gone, but it felt like weeks. Their three-year-old daughter, Tori, was a handful as it was, but three days of having no one to hand her off to was downright exhausting. She was too much like her mother: stubborn, energetic, and unafraid to dive head-first into everything. Not to mention her over-active use of her newfound firebending abilities, causing her parents to constantly be putting out fires and finding new ways to fireproof the house.Monsters in the Night3 years ago in Humor More Like This
After three days of having to look after this miniature-sized Korra all by himself, Mako longed for his wife's return.
Just one more night, Mako. You can do this, Mako told himself as he lied face-first on the bed, Korra will be back from the Earth Kingdom by morning. You can handle Tori until then.
Truth was he wasn't sure. For all he knew, Tori could be lingering in the room right now, waiting for the right moment to pounce on him. She had the tendency to do things lik

Come on, Korra, it's been over a month, the young Avatar told herself, You should be getting better by now.
She attempted to focus her attention on making herself breakfast, but it was no use. She ended up burning her bread and knocking over her juice. It didn't matter, though. She didn't have much of an appetite these days.
After her failed attempt at food, Korra wandered back up to the bedroom. Mako was still in the shower, so she still had to occupy herself for the time being. She pulled open one of her dresser drawers, and then immediately slammed it shut.
I thought I told Mako to clean that out.
The shower shut off. Mako stepped out of the bathroom, hair still wet and dressed in only his trousers.
"All yours," he told her.
Korra didn't say a word to hi

Despite her efforts to suppress it, Korra couldn't help but snicker as she bent down and carefully unhinged her daughter's jaw from her husband's finger. Mako quickly pulled his hand back, frowning at the baby.
"Tori, daddy's not a chew toy. No biting daddy."
Korra snickered again. Mako looked up at her.
"Don't laugh at me. You'll only encourage her."
"Yeah, like she understands what you're saying in the first place." She picked Tori up as she and Mako stood up.
"I think she might, actually. She obviously gets some sort of joy out of seeing me in pain."
"You're such a baby," Korra told him, "She only has two front teeth. How bad could it- Ow!" Korra looked down at her daughter. "Did you just bite me?"
Tori smiled at her, happily showing off her two front teeth. Mako smirked, slightly.
"You were saying?"
"Shut u- Ow!" She quickly handed Tori off to Mako. "Take the little snapping turtle-seal. I'm gonna go find her a teething ring, or a co

"Me too.", Aang said.
There really was nothing to do. Aang and Sokka just sat on the couch, and lazily watched TV while a bowl of M&M's in front of them.
"You know what we should do?", Sokka asked.
"Get new batteries for the remote?", Aang suggested.
"No, but yeah, we should.", Sokka said, "Let's see who can fit the most M&M's up their nose."
"Ok.", Aang said, glad that they finally had something to do.
They both took two M&M's and stuck one up each nostril. They did that again and again for five minutes.
"How many do you have?", Sokka asked.
"Twelve.", Aang said, "You?"
"Same.", Sokka said, "I can do more, though."
"Me too.", Aang said.
As they put more M&M's up their nose, Suki and Katara came in the room.
"What the hell are you doing!?", Katara asked.
"Seeing who can fit the most M&M's up their nose.", Aang said.
"Why?", Katara asked.
"We're bored.", Aang said.
"Sokka, you're almost eighteen, and a father.", Suki scowled, "You should know better."
