Sage 2Sage walked a little further into the room when her adoptive dad and Mr. Stark disappeared into another room, and she stood silently in the center, glancing around. This was one of the tallest buildings she'd been in, and she was studying the interior quickly and efficiently in that one glance. It was stylish, slick, and modern; designed to be both attractive and productive.
"It's a nice place huh?" Bruce asked, smiling as he watched the teen; he saw the way she was looking around, face blank, and figured that she was sort of awed.
Two pairs of green eyes met and the girl nodded, knowing that a smile would be expected and giving a mild one. "It is; the modern style is quite aesthetic but obviously meant to also be efficient. A good combination; yes?" she widened the grin instinctually; maybe she had gotten too good at faking her emotion, sometimes she wished that she didn't have to, but even her father became edgy around her when she didn't.
Banner nodded in agreement, only slightly pu
Broadchurch: Alec HardyIt was clear in the way he sat; in the way he sipped at his tea; the way he studied the world; it was clear written on his face: he was a man carrying the weight of the world. He was painted with shades of dark: a stroke of anger, two of regret; sadness, pain and fury. Or does the dark cloud his vision?
Everything in others that he knows is in himself.
Paying penance one last time.

Incubus "Incubus." The girl accused, spitting and sneering at me. I just had to grin.Incubus4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Yes. So?" she had woken up the second I touched her, but she was just too pretty to just leave-be because she was awake. Her lean frame curled into a ball away from me; her bright blond hair falling sleep-thrown and knotted down past slender shoulders.
"Leave me alone. I'm awake now." I grinned wider and crawled closer to her. She shied away. I made her bright blue eyes meet my dark brown ones. "Please don't hurt me " she whimpered.
"I wouldn't hurt you, not ever." I promised, she bit her lip and still looked scared. I touched her arm lightly and she froze. "Settle down a bit, relax." I made a bottle of wine appear as well as a glass. She stared at it as I poured the liquid and offered her some.
"How do I know it's not poison?" she asked. I chuckled and took a sip.

But how long can she stay living within her own fantasies; straying not too far from the reality that she is alone? Few friends bringing about the illusion of companionship, part of the time.
And oh how she sits in longing, imagining worlds full of the affection she lacks; the hole in her heart bleeding into her chest, hidden from the world.
And she sat on the bed, governing universes and writing herself full again; full and decomposing, eaten away. The pad in her lap holding her desires like the throne where she sat; for display.
And in her kingdom she sat in longing, wondering at her courage if she should ever leave.

He looked to cap and told him "Thank you for caring for her... You are a honorable man"
Kate winced as Bruce fixed her up and said, 'Thanks, for you know... helping me. I don't deserve it after what I did to your friend. But thanks.'
Thor nodded, he could see the snake charm around Kate's neck from where he stood. He heard what Loki was saying, and saw what he was trying to tell him. 'I understand,' Thor replied.

Horace had jumped off of Kicker, and was pacing back and forth. Evanlyn sat on the ground, her beautiful face, Horace thought, stained with dirt. She was shivering out of nerves or cold, he could not tell.
Clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop. Horace heard it first, the soft clip-clopping of horses hooves. Thats no battle horse, he said as he stood up, trying to see into the trees. The clip-clopping stopped.
Horace, come here
What, Horace replied, slightly taken aback. He heard Halts irritated sigh. Well, at least Will is alive, thought Horace noticing that Halt would be more subdued and sad if Will was dead. Which he obviously wasnt because Halt was in one of his grim and irascible moods. In truth, Halt was more worried and sad then he let in. But as he suspected if he acted grim, Horace would not be as worried. At least until he realized the full nature of Wills condition, he thought dryly.
Horace stepped into the trees and

Halt and Horace both whipped around. Horace snapped to attention more hurriedly than he intended. Halt yanked a cloth out of his medical satchel more violently than necessary. They both turned to see Evanlyn, shoulders shaking and sobbing in a loud racking wail. Horace looked at her confusedly, she was obviously still sad, but thus wailing seemed to overdue it.
Halt caught on almost instantly. He glanced from Evanlyn to Will. Raising a hand to stop her wailing, he looked her in the eye. I need to know what happened. He saw her green eyes widen and her face grow pale, but still he pressed her with his gaze. She shivered and her voice trembled as she began to reveal what had happened to her and Halts Apprentice.
It started out okay, Will kept his strength and I stayed alive. He protected and comforted me whenever I needed help. Then we reached Hallasholm.
Halt watched her as he cl

"Should we wake him and head out?" Katara asked, hoping the answer was no.
"We only have half a day of travel ahead of us. If we leave now, we could be there by early evening. I'd say we have a few hours to spare." Aang smiled at her and her heart beat faster.
Katara wanted to acquiesce but their mission couldn't rest. "But what of the village? I hate to say this, but aren't we in a hurry?" She scuffed her toe, feeling guilty at wanting to forget responsibility and spend this beautiful day above the clouds with Aang.
She watched as Aang's smile faltered and his face darkened. Clearly he felt the same internal conflict. "We should go My people need me."
With the epidemic heavy on their minds, they finished packing up their gear. When all that was left was Sokka and his sleeping rolls, they woke him and packed his things while he was still blinking bl

I'll hate who I want to-
I'LL HATE WHO I WANT TO-
I'LL HATE WHO I WANT TO!
But you're not worth my hate;
I'm above you-
I'M ABOVE YOU-
I'M ABOVE YOU!
Every crack I make
Only serves to counter one of yours-
And they're still jokes.
You think yours sting
I know you try so hard
But you can't insult me-
ALL YOU HAVE ARE LIES!
And not even good ones-
You think I'm not social-
Rather, you say it.
I may not bring them over every weekend
But at least I'm FRIENDS with my FRIENDS!
I'm good to them, they're good to me.
How often do I hear you complain about yours?
You snap at my hobbies,
But at least it's of use;
What are you doing to be remembered?
What are you going to bring to the world?
You won't always get what you want that way
This is what I propose then
Stop bitching and stop being a bitch
Sanitarium"Anthony please, take your pills," the nurse cooed gently, holding out the plastic cup containing three white pills in one hand and one filled with water in the other. "Ah," he opened his mouth wide, letting her look inside both of his cheeks before lifting his tongue as well.
"Good; now go play with the others," the pretty petite nurse smiled at him, patting his shoulder as he turned away and walked over to the basketball court, ducking behind the tall potted plants and spitting into the dirt before crushing the three pills with his foot.
"Take your pills Anthony, please," he mimed the nurse angrily, suddenly more alert and aware than he had been the moment before, "Damn this place," he kicked the dirt and growled, "And damn my damn parents for sending me here."
