My fifth bento! And my second attempt at maki sushi. :aww:

Took me two hours to make but I was definitely in a bento mood tonight @_@

Gave it to my dad for his lunch tomorrow ^_^

Ingredients:
Sushi Rolls (imitation crab, cucumber, cream cheese, sesame seeds)
Turkey and cheese rolls
Strawberry and blueberries
Heart shaped carrots and cherry tomatoes
Ginger snap cookies

I decided to do something a little different since I had some ground chicken. I made a rice burger! It was really good. I didn't have a bento box to really fit it in so I used my smallest bento and just packed sides that I could munch on. Anyway this bento contains:

Rice Burger: Teriyaki Chicken Patty, Rice and Green Onion "Bun", Nori

Box: Honeydew Melon, Cherry Tomatoes, 1/4 Grapple, Orange Slices

I made some fried rice! So that's what I had for lunch, instead of eating it at Uni though I had two classes cancel so I was able to eat it at home, which means I could warm it up! Anyway this bento contains:

Top Tier:
Fried Rice - Rice, Egg, Teriyaki Chicken Patty (selfmade), Cabbage, Chinese Chive, Corn, Peas, Shimeji Mushrooms, Dried Pink Baby Shrimp, Imitation Crab, Garlic, Benishoga, Shoyu, Ponzu, Sake, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder.

Bottom Tier:
Honeydew Melon
Panfried Avocado with Shoyu

This was taken a while back, just forgot about it XD The yellow flowers and slices are eggs. There's my favorite riceballs, pickle plum, spicy fish and some sort of kimchi (can't remember which kind).
I had used a new technique making those eggs. Dunno if any of y'all ever seen it, but I used those plastic shells that you crack the eggs into and boil to make boiled eggs without having to ruin the eggs by trying to break them out of the shells. Instead of putting eggs directly in there, I whisked the eggs and added my seasonings and then poured them in there. It produced a spongy like consistency and was much more tastier :D granted some of the seasonings when to the bottom, but it's almost decorative ^^;

Today's office bento =D

* mini tuna cheese sandwich orange bento *

- tuna cheese mini sandwiches (in pan-toasted white bread)
- cherry tomatoes
- fresh Asian parsley
- zucchini (small stars and leaf-like shape)
- mini oranges
- sesame seed

I love these extra small cherry tomatoes :XD:
