Sometimes, someone else has to tell you that you're good enough.
The 4th panel line is probably the hardest part of the work. I was already finished with the art when I decided what it should be. Sometimes, as artists, we have to put our foot down and say that our artwork is good enough. Perfection gives diminishing returns and just makes us tired, frothing from discontent.
We don't celebrate thanksgiving from where I am, but it's a nice reminder to be thankful for the things we have in this life. Me? I'm thankful for my family, friends and where I am at this point in time, artistically, and professionally.
EDIT: Made some major booboos. Corrected Marcy's eyes on the 2nd panel so they're consistent with the rest of the comic. Same with the other characters.
This is an idea I've had ever since watching the episode "Dad's Dungeon". I would have uploaded the sketch, but I wanted to get somewhat better at the tablet and make it digital. I'm not the only one who thought of this when they showed that the sword is red, right? haha. (The first panel looks so nice...then you get towards the end and it looks not-so-much...I got really tired...hehe)
