I got this idea and started drawing immediately. I finished it in like 4 or 5 hours straight. I purposefully kept it unblended and quite rough to make them look like a drawing, not like real life. See, the evil one is drawing the good one that is rubbing out the evil one that is drawing the good one. The point is if the good one were to succeed in erasing the evil hand, then the good hand would no longer exist, because there would be no hand to draw it in. Therefore good cannot win without destroying itself. If evil were to complete the drawing of the good hand, then evil itself would be vulnerable and have nothing to bargain with, because the good hand would be able to erase it without the danger of not being finished. Therefore neither can ever finish what they started. Hence the battle between good and evil can never be resolved.
Hope you all like it.

I can't imagine that this will be the outcome of my concept and design. I'm a fan of Final Fantasy, and it's a great opportunity that deviantArt unleashed the contest together w/ Square Enix for character customization of Lightning!!! So much happy that I've shared my skill to all. Hope you like it! ^_^
I've always been really proud of the 2008 portrait, as it was the first proper portrait I ever drew. Since then, I've only really practiced portraiture in the past year or so, and I've moved from graphite to Photoshop .
Nice to think I've improved even a little - but there's still so far to go!
NB: This is a reproduction of a promotional poster for The Dark Knight. I do not own the image or character portrayed.
And a note to the heads of the competition: I understand that this will probably be pulled cause it's a promo image, but it was my first portrait so I just wanted to see how I'd improved since my first.
I love autumn in case you can't tell, goes well with blue. Wanted to make something nice for this challenge, so there's a genuine legit background in there for ya. Maybe I'll do more of those in the future.
I had drawn this Just about 5 months ago [link] even though it was posted more recently i feel ive gotten better at choosing colors and not making the image look so flat and blah in my honest oppinion i still need to get my hair to look less like a big blur and so you can see the starnds but i cant quite get that technique down
This is my entry for the Dark Shadows contest. Drawn in PS.
ETA: What a wonderful surprise to win second place! Thank you, everyone, for your kind and encouraging comments, and thank you to the judges for placing me in such excellent company among the other semi-finalists. Congratulations to all!
