OPINIONS PLEASE! I'm thinking of releasing a second pose for Houndoom. It'll definitely need weights in its feet, or a base to be set on. But, if you have an idea on a stand for it [like a pile of rocks for it to lean its forepaws on, or a tombstone, though I'd rather keep it looking like it's rearing] then let me know!
And here we have something i've been working on for a little while now! I've always wanted a toothless papercraft that looked good (not just the stupid boxy ones)
And so, I took a toothless model by RandomDraggon (with permission of course) and started editing~ all of the posing was done in meta, and the eyes and brown tailfin were completely remade and there were some accuracy fixes made (I did not edit the textures included, only the mesh).
SO. Does anyone besides me want him hanging off of your ceiling?! Cause I know I do 8D Also, who'd be interested in having a HTTYD 2 toothless as well if you know what i mean?! ;D (and no spoilers in the comments please! xD not everyone has seen the movie yet XD)
On another note, I'm not sure how large to make him by default. In his default pose (standing normalish with wings spread), if i made him 5 inches tall (tall enough to make the teeth not much of a pain), his wingspan would end up being 58 inches o-o thats 4'10" / 1.4m! (about xD)
So yeah! Thoughts, suggestions, and opinions are very welcome! xD
I made two poses of articuno. This pose was inspired by a piece of artwork I had found while browsing for poses. I'm hoping they'll both be available eventually, perhaps together. I really like how this came out. c:
Here's another low-poly 3D dinosaur design I made to go along with the others, this time it's a Brachiosaurus. He features an extremely flexible neck made with 9 armature bones. Also, I don't know how scientifically accurate this is, but I decided to texture his skin to look like a cross between a giraffe and a snake.
Another 2nd-gen pokemon! This time, feraligatr, rocking out. He has a good voice, don't tell him otherwise or he'll bite your head off. This picture isn't totally accurate.. his tail is lower than that, touching the floor to help support him. Keep watching Paperpokes for it!
