Legit, for a long time I have been feeling like a total monster on this site because of being busy IRL and just being lazy and selfish I have been letting messages pile up and NOTES TOO ffffff
and here is honestly the real reason
for a long time now I have been feeling ashamed of myself, mostly because you guys are so amazing to me and so supportive and I have like nothing to give to you
I've been promising you this comic for YEARS, and I'm only just now getting on it. and now with starting I honestly feel like I don't deserve any of the praise I get until its up and started.
you guys are sooo good to me.
You guys motivate me, you guys help me out of sadness, you help me feel good about my artwork, about my progress through the years.
you may think I don't know you, but TRUST ME when I say that many of you guys who have stuck with me from the start, i recognize you guys immediately and always smile HUGE when you comment or fave.
I am flattered by every single comment
Censoring the InternetA few weeks ago I made mention of feminist Anita Sarkeesian who started a kickstarter for a web series called "Tropes Vs Women" specifically centered around how women are portrayed in video games.Censoring the Internet11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Despite the fact that kickstarters are payed for by people who've made the decision they want to contribute their money to the project, Anita came under attack from gamers for "scamming" audiences when her fund far exceeded the target goal. Just this past week it's come out that a 25 year old man from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada, created a video game where the object is to punch the crap out of Anita. Wounds, bruises, and blood gush out the more you beat her up in this virtual game, and it's drawn some widespread attention.
Whether you agree with her viewpoint is not the issue, it's the fact that this retaliation is just "wrong" on so many levels. Do these people realize that what they're doing is shooting themselves in the foot? Making a video game where you beat up someone who's making

and are seeing the extremely large attack/serge of hate I have been getting for "art theft"
It has to do with an individual I have had run ins with in past, (long story that doesn't need any more repeating)
said individual has not only stolen art/characters/concepts/ poses/NAMES and titles from me directly. But has never admitted to doing so even when it is exceedingly obvious, and has proceeded to gain a large fanbase and accuse ME of stealing from her. Even though I have direct dated proof that I made the artworks/named the characters first.
I'm not going to link her, because it's pointless to send hatred her way, and I don't even care if ya'll believe me. Just please know.
I am not an art thief, I have no desire to steal an immature artist's ideas or designs.
I am quite content with the ideas, characters and stories I have, thank you very much

When I'm not at work, I'm.. at work haha
So I have had even less time to do personal art (still forces some stuff out when I can) but majority of what I have been doing is either for other people, or strictly the ZP comic.
On a good note though, I am meeting with a good friend to help me deal with this silly website sometime this week, and I am pretty darn sure he will be able to actually help me. Once the website is set up and ready to go, I will start posting the intro-to the into- pages fffff
So Fingers crossed that will happen over the next week or so!
In other news, I am working on a few art related projects for some other talented artists, so that may be taking a little bit of my time away from doing my own stuff. We'll see <3
if I post anything it will prolly be stuff on tumblr.
I wish I could say i'm having fun, So I just will.

i still do muchly
and it's true that i don't say it enough, wich im sorry for, you guys are rad
but really, lack of communication shouldn't be what labels me as an asshole, or if my art is "to scary" (really there's much more gruesome stuff out there >> )) but even if my stuff ever got to that point, still doesn't make me a wack job or anything.
I've bin silent cause, like many others, i have stuff to take care of in real life specially now that im older. im sorry i don't ramble about how my day has bin anymore anyw

Infinite B.S.Well, my favourite aspect of Bioshock Infinite so far* is that it keeps up the series tradition of never returning you to the game where you left it.Infinite B.S.2 months ago in Personal More Like This
In most other titles, you press "continue" on the main menu and you're taken back to where you logged off, or, at the very least, in that general area. Not so with the Bioshock games. Nooo. None of that player-friendly nonsense here. And "Infinite B.S." takes it one step further and sometimes doesn't even record chapters you've passed through, thus forcing you to replay them again! Yes, that "Autosave" logo is clearly just decorative.
They've also kindly removed the ability to manually save, just to keep you in that perpetual state of uncertainty as to whether or not you're going to have to repeat everything you've just done when you next return to the game. Because, of course, being forced to replay the same section of story twice, or three times in a row just makes the game so much more memorable, doesn't it?
*post a spoiler and I will

Resting Up and Suggestions?Stressed OutResting Up and Suggestions?9 months ago in Personal More Like This
Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I think I need time away from the internet. Both to relax and to brush up on my artwork. I am genuinely sick of all the hate surrounding my namesake online, and when I say "genuinely," I mean it. The stress that the recent resurgence of trolling I've gotten has caused me to be quite ill. I know I shouldn't let what anonymous people on the internet say about me get to me, but it does. I need time to recuperate, to spruce and fix up SYAC, and to get back to a point where I genuinely enjoy drawing again. Right now there's no love or passion in my artwork, and it's mostly because of my defeated attitude: "Why bother, they'll just tear it apart anyway."
That whole "project positive" has been a complete bust too. I failed to live up to the idea, and in the process got really sick. I guess trying to force out a constant positive attitude like that was a mistake.
Still working, plus a surprise!
In the meantime, I have still be

I loved it.
The FiM team is amazing, and I am consistently impressed with the work they do on each episode.
I marvel at the believability they breathe into the world and the characters. From the writing to the music to the animation. Each component is seriously and thoughtfully composed... The emotions of the characters feel genuine, and because the characters take themselves seriously, the viewers connect with them.
Cartoons/animations/comics have immense power... and it makes me so happy to see a cartoon that finally takes that power seriously. Most people dismiss the idea of cartoons being serious, and that is a tragic mistake... Cartoons are symbolic in their expression, and the more "simple" they are, the more symbolic they may become. My Little Pony is the perfect example of this. The designs are simple, but the symbolism is rich with meaning and substance (because the creators care). This is why it is a good show.
Children deserve to be taken serious
Fandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals On FandomsFandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals4 months ago in Personal More Like This
Like most people, I'm a fan of a lot of things. However I don't often wade deep into fandoms themselves. For example, I like MLP:FiM, but I wouldn't call myself a hardcore Brony by any stretch of the imagination, as is evident by my continued botches of cutie mark colors (something no hardcore fan would EVER screw up).
Part of the reason I don't delve too far into fandoms is because fans can get very... emotional... about their given fandom. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can sometimes be a crutch. I like a variety of series, but I'm not gonna throw a tantrum because of an episode name, or an animation mistake, like some people do. I don't like how angry or defensive fandoms can get sometimes, and for the most part I think people need to just calm down and relax and not be so standoffish.
Fans are, for the most part, good people who are just enthusiastic about a show or series. Just try to keep that enthusiasm from dipping into the negative side of thing

Paramount has shut down pre-production on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot over "script problems".
Translation; Paramount realised that if they continued down the path Bay was going, fans would probably burn their studios to the ground.
With luck (and a dollop of common sense) the project will be shelved altogether and the IP left fallow until competent directors/producers are brought on board.
I'm going to pretend my little campaign helped with this
deviantART's response regarding Art4Love.comIt recently came to our attention that a website called Art4Love.com was offering prints for sale, some based off of deviations also found on deviantART.com (and perhaps other works by artists not on deviantART). Art4Love.com is currently offline, but was up long enough to make some artists very understandably upset, as neither the artists (we are told) nor deviantART ever gave permission for Art4Love.com to sell these prints.deviantART's response regarding Art4Love.com2 years ago in Personal More Like This

We will also fully cooperate with any government agency that may become involved because of consumer complaints against this apparently infringing website and the people running it. We would also happily cooperate with any possible fraud investigations.

Mature themes in American AnimationWhen I first discovered Anime, my mind was blown. Here were Japanese animations being made which told adult stories with sex, violence, and all sorts of things I'd never seen before done in American films. As a teenager the constant pandering to children and the reluctance to accept more mature themes and ideas in American animated films pissed me off. Why can't american cartoons be taken more seriously and have stuff for adults too outside of South Park and The Simpsons?Mature themes in American Animation1 year ago in Personal More Like This
In 1998 Stephen Spielberg tried to change that. After having a successful run of kids cartoons (Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Pink and the Brain, etc), he took it a step further by giving us a PRIME TIME cartoon series aimed at adults. It was called "Invasion America." It was a sci-fi epic, featured a slew of big name actors including Leonard Nimoy, and featured more adult oriented themes such as sex, violence, and swearing!
It sucked and was a resounding failure.
The epic plot they were trying to weave would never be compl

This time they're going after Studio Ghibli's "The Secret World of Arrietty" and accusing, once again, that liberal Hollywood's agenda is corrupting children and turning them into "occu-toddlers." They also turned their sights on the new adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. They claim that both movies "demonize the 1%" and that people "offended" by these movies should fight back by... littering. Don't believe me? Watch the video and get ready to facepalm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuFcWkFJZgk
Now I can understand (barely) how a conservative could possibly have an issue with The Lorax since it deals with criticizing the logging industry and promoting the dangers of excessive defore

I wish I could say I am surprised about this, but sadly the whole media frenzy surrounding violence in video games and movies reminds me of something that already happened once and profoundly affected the media it was accusing: Comic books.
During the early days of comic books, things occasionally got a little risqué. EC Horror comics in particular delighted in rendering extremely gruesome images and disturbing themes in their comics, which were being sold to children unbeknownst to their parents (because naive parents at the time had no reason to suspect comics might contain "inappropriate" material). However all that changed in 1954.
German-American psychiatrist Fredric Wertham was upset about how disturbing some of those
