Well, this was a seriously fun project. I was wrestling with her pose for so long I almost gave up on her, but managed to pull though in the end. I have to say getting the colors right was a tough one, but with numerous references on hand I think it turned out pretty decent.
Luna is awfully tired after keeping the moon up all night. Looks like she'll take a nap in her sister's lap for a little while. ----
Oh my god, finally I finish this XDDI had to re-do a lot of it because I had linearted it in the same style as my previous humanized work. But since the feedback on that was so-so I decided to try imitating a little bit of a Clamp style.
But...it doesn't look very much like Clamp does it? XD;;;
Anyways, these are humanized versions of Celestia and Luna. Much more casual dresses than they would grace the public with. Or at least that's what I had in mind XD; Egh...I might do an alternate version of this where Celestia is going to rest while Luna brings up the moon.
But now that it's 4:30am, it's time for somepony to go to bed.
::NOTE:: Because DA makes everything so small, and I like to work really big, you should hit download so you can actually see the picture. When it's shrunk down like this, it looks way too blurry. But Download makes it a bit more crisp.
his picture is comission for . The series is based on US Series "My little pony". I think all of the MLP fanclub to know her. In this picture I draw her by concept is light templar on morning sky is background. By the Way keep waiting for Luna's fanart in the future.
So after looking back at my old Applejack picture, i realized how horrible it looked (I blame my lack of sleep) after, and wanted to redo the picture to give Applejack the picture she deserves.
To be honest I had started this picture as a practice by using a picture of Emma Watson as a base, then thought about making her into Supergirl Kara, but she turned into Applejack in the end, and I feel that it turned out pretty good even if I do say so myself.
This is probably my first serious foray into proper portrait art with a new technique I learned from a fellow lecturer, very very happy with the end result. I hope you guys enjoy it!
