NOTE! I did NOT draw this. I am merely entering the WRITING part of the Hidden Qualities contest. Please comment ONLY on the writing here.....to see/comment on this lovely image that ~axian created, go here--> [link] . I just had to choose this one for my writing entry--isn't it such a pretty picture? *hearts*
Actually, I really wanted to enter the Art part of the contest, but seeing as I have no access to a scanner or Photoshop at the moment, and the art deadline is today....I thought I might as well just enter the writing part. Hwargh. Read on to the actual entry itself~ ^^;

The stars came first.
They came before the flowers and the beasts and man, so naturally they should have the right to take it all away by being the first to go. Who am I to argue? I do not give life. I am a human, and humans can only simulate.
So I tried. I needed something to do, after all, to keep my eyes from staring at the light that now resided perpetually outside the windows of our ship. Light of the damned, for it had damned us—it had nurtured us for a million years and then destroyed us.
Today I painted the resemblance of a sunflower in defiance of the stars. Observe it from every angle and love it, I challenged, for I could revive its soul even as you dispelled its physical manifestation. You engulfed the earth beneath our feet and yet here we still are, protected within a steel fortress of our own creation. Bow to me, for you are not my God. I was born in the year of the panther and I shall not be hunted to extinction. I am still a man, and you were only a star.
And yet, even as I painted, your light distracted me. I stopped and ran a hand across the artificial petals. It was the soul of a sunflower . . . only a soul, and nothing more. Fleeting translucent invisible soul that I owned. You owned its life.
I never finished it.
Now wasn't that awful? Sorry for mauling your beautiful art, axian. ;__;
(When I say my shoots take some planning and some time, I'm dead serious, hehe, but so well worth the results! Thanks to an amazing team!

My entry for the Wacom contest. My idea for good and evil. I wanted to use betta fish(aka: siamese fighting fish) swimming underwater. The water in constant turbulence. Also I wanted Betta fish not only because of their amazing colors but because it's in their instincts to fight one another.
This one is much more simpler than the other two images. This one is closest to my original idea when I started brainstorming for this contest. I love the bright and vibrant colors of this piece. I wanted more chaos and more peace illustrated for the fish but I thought it would crowd the image more. So I left it like this. I hope adding more than one entry of something simiar is allowed. They aren't exactly duplicates....
s are appreciated!

Here is my submission for the Draw This Again Meme Contest which let me tell you is right up my lane. I could do this all day! I love redrawing my UGLY works that I used to think was cool. And then 2 years later im going to say the same thing over and over. Life goes on my friends And we learn a new thing everyday. I learned of this contest!
I don't mind if I don't win, I really did it for fun.
This is a redo of a school assignment from a while back.
The old drawing was my most favorite because my teachers loved it so much the even posted it in the main hall for everyone to see even later I had some work published in the yearbook! I even had some friends were asking for my autograph because they knew I would become something great!
Needless to say that made me so happy I felt like I needed to continue to draw I always loved it and had to keep going ...so I did and never gave up....
That was then this is now... I wonder if they seen my artwork today what they would think from back then.
