Wally and Artemis :: The First TimeThe door creaked open and with another giant sob and the sound of a long breath being exhaled, she made her way through her apartment with slow, shaky steps. Almost as soon as her bed was in sight, the blonde woman launched herself at it and collapsed on top of it, her shoulders shuddering as she gripped the velvety soft, violet blanket that she was sprawled out upon. Even its warm caress wasn't enough to ease her pain. Heck, nothing would be. More tears streamed down her face, running over the same place they had been going over for the last hour. A small whine escaped from her parted lips, the sound smooth and uninterrupted until she ran out of breath. A sharp intake and she was at it again, sobbing once more. She gathered the blanket beneath her in a small bundle where her head was and readjusted her position so that her face was now hidden in the depths of the lovely fabric.Wally and Artemis :: The First Time3 years ago in Romance More Like This

"Hey," he said coming up behind her. "Why aren't you inside partying with all the others?"
Annabeth glanced over her shoulder and shrugged. Her hands fiddled with the beads on her necklace. "I don't know. Just needed to think I guess."
Percy shook his head. "We win a war and you want to sit out here and think." It was just so Annabeth.
She turned and punched him in the shoulder. "Shut up, Seaweed Brain."
He smiled and lifted one of her hands off her necklace, threading their fingers together. "Well I think the amazing Miss Chase deserves at least one victory dance of the night."
She stared at their twined hands. "You know, technically its morning."
Percy rolled his eyes. "We're dancing," he pulled her close. "Even if you don't want to."

Whatever the case, some angry words had been thrown back and forth, someone from the Hermes cabin had yelled, "TAKE COVER!" when the argument began, and it ended with Percy getting a slap to the face.
Even now, as he lay in his cabin, feeling miserable because of this distance between them, he could still feel the sting on his cheek. But it didn't matter. He hated it when they fought. However, it happened fairly often because there were few things the two of them actually agreed on.
An idea began formulating itself in his mind and only a few minutes later, he found himself outside the Athena cabin, knocking on the door, thinking surely this must be a suicide attempt. Malcolm answered.
"She doesn't want to see you," he said and promptly pushed the door close.

She couldn't stop thinking about him.
He was probably so lonely out there, all on his own, with no one but strangers to see to his needs.
He probably doesn't even remember me, she thought despairingly. He probably has no recollection of the numerous quests they have gone on together; the many times they've saved the world from the demons and titans hidden from the common mortal's view.
It had been a normal camp night; they had trained in the sword arena, they had eaten lunch and gave offerings to the Gods, they had sat beside the bonfire amongst all the other campers.
But everything that she knew to be normal was suddenly ripped away from her.
Apparently, one of the gods (Hera that insolent little cow-pie) had kidnapped him in the middle of the night

"Whoa Arty-don't make such a big decision, it couldn't have been as bad as the argument you had last week" The green girl spoke.
"It wasn't, not even close. The point is, we are always fighting. There isn't ever a pause. We go from one argument and jump right into another one. I can't do that, it's affecting my classes, way to much stress" Artemis fought back the urge to cry on the phone. Artemis was just about to get up from the couch and go home for the night when M’gann flew up excitedly, cape billowing behind her levitating body. “Artemis! Would you like to have a sleepover, just for the night? It’s a weekend tomorrow and no missions, so I thought you might want to.” M’gann’s expression said she very much wanted to have a sleepover, but would be empathetic if Artemis refused. “Er.. I don’t have any of my stuff..” Artemis was on the edge. She wanted to go home and sleep in her bed, but it might be fun to stay. “But you do! Every team member had two sets of overnight equipment stashed at the cave, don’t you remember?” M’gann had said the truth. Now that Artemis thought about it, she realized she would be perfectly fine for a night. She smiled widely. “Okay, M’gann. I

About five minutes passed, and then I saw a car pull up to the bottom of Half-Blood Hill. Annabeth stepped out, as beautiful as ever. Every time I saw her long blonde hair and grey, calm eyes my heart always skipped a beat.
She saw me waiting at the top of the hill and started running towards me.
I extended my arms and she ran into them, and we just kind of stayed that way for a while. My cheeks felt warm. I was probably blushing.
"There you are, Seaweed Brain." she said with a smirk on her face.
"Yup. Here I am, Wise Girl."
We both smiled and I pulled her close to me and kissed her gently on the lips.
As we pulled apart, she asked, "So what did I mis

My chest is sore. But it's not the type of sore that feels like it's expanding. I hate that even more, and I tug at the flesh a little to prove it. I hate that it's so flat.
I hate my body. I hate it so much sometimes that it hurts. Other times I just want to hurt it, but everyone tells me that's not healthy. All I know is that the form doesn't feel like it's mine.
I don't know why that is. I hear theories, sometimes, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it doesn't feel like my form because of the media. It doesn't matter if form doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if I should be comfortable with who I am no matter how I look. It won't matter no matter how many times they say it. Because it still hurts.
They don't get it. They don't understand it. They don't feel it. It's something like how I imagine depression to be almost, but not quite.

"Hi. I'm here to be transformed into a girl. I have all the required paperwork."
Nate set a small novel of forms on the silvery counter. As he feared, the office appeared empty.
He pressed his hands into the deep pockets of his black trench coat and tapped his heavy-soled shoes. Having come this far, he resolved to wait.
The room was surprisingly-spacious for something so far underground. A wire mesh covered gray cabinets and lockers. A colorless fan turned slowly from the ceiling. A large, white circle was painted on the floor in front of the counter. And there was not a chair to relax on in sight.
Nate cracked his neck and leaned on the counter. No chairs he could see behind there either. The counter was impeccable, clean, and devoid of papers, pencils, clips, or any of the usual stuff expected of offices.
It did have on the front, in painted letters, the words, "Office of Gender Transformation."
After exhausting all the stretching and leaning he could do, Nate p
