"Well, I got a new fighter a couple of days. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but there's a four-player story mode." Mark explained. He didn't tell them where he had gotten the game-a weird man had simply given it to him for free. The man had said that he had made the game himself-which Mark found very difficult to believe-but that it was a beta, and some of the characters would not be available in 'immersive' mode. He hadn't got round to playing that mode yet-he stuck with modes he thought would be less glitchy. But so far, he was impressed.
The others nodded, said they would play that for a bit first. Mark smiled and loaded up the game. The screen opened up with an introductory cutscene-the visuals were brilliant, and Mark spotted his best characters, shooting and slashing at each other

The unfortunate bovine careened through the air, obliterating the field of cabbages which it smashed into.
"What the bleep just happened?" I said, unable to restrain my confusion. Just seconds ago, I was driving through town in my new car, a rather old-looking convertible which my gut told me to be a road hazard. Next thing I know, I was in some sort of crazy place where cows were shot out of cannons for fun. 'Correction ', I thought as I drove past the field the cows were shot from, 'circus cannons.'
"Hey, where're you goin'?" I'm not sure how, but right in front of me was a tiger. A tiger that stood on two legs, wore a police uniform, and looked like he came right out of Toontown.
"I'm not sure, really. I was heading to the nearby card shop, but apparently I took a wrong turn or something and wound up wherever I am."
The tiger wasn't placated whatsoever by my statement. "Better take you downtown." He then, without moving,

The blond haired boy sighed, draping the suit across JTs arms before video games could reclaim priority. "Come on, man, its prom. Don't you want to graduate saying you at least tried?"
"I'd rather play that HaloDST tournament." Shutting off his game, JT stared at the garment forced upon him. A pretty standard button up suit, given that he did not care about its distinct looks from the rest of the hanging samples. Still, it would make a good blend in with the crowd. Secretary - TGThere was a button beneath Leonardo's desk. He'd noticed it a few minutes ago, for the first time, upon reaching under his desk. He'd found it by accident, chasing a dropped pen; it had fascinated him since, distracting him from his work every time he'd directed his eyes at the cluttered mass of papers amassed on the cherry wood. Everything did that, though; work was just too boring.Secretary - TG5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The button, though, was special; or Leonardo told himself it was. It was a button; a red button, placed beneath his desk without his foreknowledge, just primed for an accidental touch; it filled his imagination with possibilities, straight from his artwork. Perhaps it was a secret button; capable of turning men into women. Perhaps it shot a call to the police; or some secret agents, who had been tied to the last owner of his desk. Perhaps his desk had some amazing, legendary ex owner; despite the fact that he had bought it new.
His fingers clutched at his knee caps, resisting the urge to crawl forward and

Birds squawked outside in the cool morning air, chirping happily as the sun rose upon suburbia. The sky was a brilliant blood red, the sun hidden behind a lone cloud. All over, the day was just beginning for many people.
Damon was one of those people, looking over at his buzzing alarm clock. Damon was an average teen, living on his own in a small house. He was in the midst of college as well, which kept his life constantly running. However, he didn't have any classes to go to or have to go to work today, giving him a day to himself.
He reached out for the alarm clock and pressed the button on it, throwing the covers off himself moments later. Damon took a look outside, knowing it was going to be a rather good day. He jumped off the bed onto the soft carpet.
Damon flipped on a nearby table lamp, lighting up his small room. He walked over to his bed and grabbed a red towel on the end of it, as well as a fresh pair of clothes for the day. Damon opened his bedroom door

He pressed his hands into the deep pockets of his black trench coat and tapped his heavy-soled shoes. Having come this far, he resolved to wait.
The room was surprisingly-spacious for something so far underground. A wire mesh covered gray cabinets and lockers. A colorless fan turned slowly from the ceiling. A large, white circle was painted on the floor in front of the counter. And there was not a chair to relax on in sight.
Nate cracked his neck and leaned on the counter. No chairs he could see behind there either. The counter was impeccable, clean, and devoid of papers, pencils, clips, or any of the usual stuff expected of offices.
It did have on the front, in painted letters, the words, "Office of Gender Transformation."

It's Christmas time and the world eagerly counts the days down to that special day, but everyone celebrates it differently, many decorate and give gifts to each other, but some slightly abnormal people celebrate it by other means. A victim of one such celebration was Leo.
Leo was in his early twenties, tall with short red hair, but what set him apart from most people was the fact that he's a Grinch, a scrooge among scrooges, he didn't like Christmas. Why give stuff away when you could buy yourself nice things? Leo sadly had never had good Christmas, he didn't have any close family to share anything with so why be happy at Christmas? To him it was just another day.
The week before Christmas Leo was working the late shift at the diner where he was gainfully employed, after his shift he took off his uniform in favor of his regular winter clothes, a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a skull cap. He was ready to return to his home to rest and relax. After a day o
