With slow leaden steps up the grande staircase, continuing further on down corridors, a solemn tall figure glides along. The day seemed to have dragged on mercilessly. Unending court case upon court case. Nothing would please the minister more than to emerge into his private chambers he shared with his wife, sequester himself away from the cruel world and just spend some quality time with her. The thought of his beloved Esmeralda brought a faint grin upon his features, hastening his stride. How he loved her so! In time she too had returned that love. It was a very slow process, but the end result was nothing short of absolute bliss
The Scent of a Gypsy Girl"I am a patient man and gypsies don't do well inside stone walls."The Scent of a Gypsy Girl3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Minister Frollo could feel his head literally swim at having his body pressed so closely to the gypsy dancer's. How he had desired to touch her from the moment her voluptuous form materialized upon the stage in a cloud of red smoke. An intoxicating scent rose up from the proximity of her....dear Lord, was that some sort of spice, cinnamon perhaps intermingled with another foreign scent.....a feminine scent. Unable to resist, Frollo leaned in closer, his crooked nose dove into her thick raven tresses. His eyes rolled back in his head, drunk on lust as he inhaled deeply. A strange triggering sensation pulsated through him, his head came to rest against hers to steady himself.
"What are you doing?"
The dulcet husky tone of the gypsy only furthered this intense twinge through his body. Every hair on his body stood on end at how her words curled around h
Gypsy, It's Cold OutsideIt was a harsh winter during Christmas time, or Noël as the French refer to it, throughout the city of Paris. Its icy North winds chilled the very bone to any poor soul that lingered amongst the streets. Stores had already rolled up for the evening, business was always staggering during this time of year. The cold barred many citizens from venturing out unless absolutely necessary. Most of the gypsies had headed for protection down below in the sanctity of their den known as the Court of Miracles. A few stragglers were known to venture down late or sought out refuge elsewhere. One of those few stragglers was the gypsy dancer Esmeralda. The brown-skinned bohemian had tried her luck with panhandling and dancing in the earlier part of the day, hoping to earn enough for her portion for food on the table. It was difficult to dance, let alone even remove her cloak long enough to move about since it was so cold. The booties she wore did veGypsy, It's Cold Outside2 years ago in Romance More Like This
Frollo and Esmeralda on the Haunted MansionFrollo and Esmeralda on the Haunted Mansion3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
((((This is a portion of a story my friend Kara and I were writing together on this writing forum called "Tales of the Whisperer". Frollo and Esmeralda have both found themselves pulled from their medieval Paris to modern day Disneyland, California. Frollo by the way is his younger self. He was pulled just before killing Quasimodo's mother so he did not know who Esmeralda is. Esmeralda on the other hand knows him well, she was pulled after escaping the cathedral. The point of the story is for these two to get to know each other in a completely different setting. We titled it "A Simple Twist of Fate." This particular portion is when they ride the Haunted Mansion together to escape the tourists. My friend Melany drew the cover picture to accompany this little portion. Enjoy! XD)))

The small room began to swim dimly into view; emerald eyes adjusted slightly to the gloom. The gypsy Esmeralda continued laying on the wooden bed, her head spinning something fierce. Sitting up very carefully she began to take notice that she was alone. Where was she? She started to stand, but found it difficult to do so. Instead she crawled towards the door. Upon opening it with some difficultly due to her weakness the sounds of the raging battle in front of Notre Dame grew louder. Looking around she realized she was up in the bell tower, but she did not see any sign of Quasimodo.
Hobbling and crawling towards the stone stairwell, the gypsy dancer began her descent. Each step was such an effort for her, she groaned as she crawled down the stairs. Her head continued to feel dizzy. Maybe she should have stayed in the little room to wait for Quasimodo to return, but at the same time she needed to get away from here. Her mind was not her own in this moment, she began to blame

Esmeralda: (For those who do not know French, the title says, Your Love Will Kill Me, or You Will Destroy Me ^^)
Darkness. How long Esmeralda had been wrapped in it she did not know, but it had been for some time, and long enough that her bare shoulders and arms were cold and numb. It could also have been because of the two heavy chains which bound Esmeralda to the stone wall behind her; trapped, and hung like a wounded bird. Her dark raven locks hung around her shoulders, her head hung close to her breast as the sound of dripping water echoed through the empty cellar. Why she had been pla

ÿþEsmerelda mounted the stone stairs slowly and silently. Her wariness made every shadow into a lurking monster, every torch a bright hellfire, every sound a devil swooping in with bared claws aiming for her throat. But the farther up she went, the less secrets the stairwell held, so she continued to ascend.
Esmerelda entered the dark alcove, clutching at her shawl. She saw him silhouetted on the balcony, his dark shape ominous and unforgiving. Was he looking at her? She couldn't tell.
His deep baritone wrapped around her invitingly, but she knew its dark temptations held nothing but death for her.
"What do you want?" asked Esmerelda.
Frollo chuckled, the evil sound echoing around the room, bouncing off the bells in their metal repose touched by moonlight.
As the word sunk in, Esmerelda closed her eyes. "You're sick," she said angrily. " I came to negotiate for the safety of my people."
"And negotiate we will," said Frollo. He left the balcony and walke
