A/N: First of all, I don't want to hear any complaints about the "four moves" rule of Pokemon. The whole point of this piece is to explore the concept outside of its normal parameters in a more organic way. How many Pokemon attacks can you catch on to? ;D
This piece is a tribute to Pokemon, a big part of my formative years, as well an homage to the many (likely now pathetic) chapters I once wrote of Pokemon fiction as a child, and an expression of the idea of regret and loss in this land of Adulthood - reflection on who we become as we age, and how we cope with it.

My alarm clock started beeping, which woke me fully up. I rolled over, shut it off, and sat up, stretching. I looked down at myself. I was sweaty, shirtless, and my feathers were sticking out everywhere. I'd had a bad dream last night that Cadence got much worse overnight, and I was itching to get to the hospital to see her again.
I hopped out of bed, pulled my covers up, and pulled on my white t-shirt. I replaced the gray sweatpants I'd slept in with a pair of jeans, and pulled on my green jacket. Slipping into my purple-and-gray sneakers, I pocketed my phone, and grabbed Cadence's green headphones off my nightstand, where they had been sitting while she was unconscious. I got a brown backpack-like thing that I had and put the headphones in it, along with a couple pencils, my sketchpad, and my songbook.
I went out the door into the livi

Chapter 1 – Memories
They say that love is like a game, you can get in it for a lot of time, but you'll always leave, no matter what… well, my game started 14 years ago… I am Stompin' Bob, the bassist of the famous Penguin Band, but something happened and we don't play our instruments a lot right now…
Anyways, like I was saying, my game started 14 years ago, when I was 5 years old… I was in a playground, surrounded by a lot of people I didn't know and they seemed to be happy, with nothing to worry about. I was really afraid of talking to someone because I thought that everybody would hate me… when I turned back and saw a penguin in a corner, talking to some furry small things, one of them came near to me and I petted it, when I suddenly felt a bucket or something really hard that hit me in th

Felarya - Jora - Meet the Crisis [Vore]“You should have no trouble if you stay on track. Try to look at the sky and the stars like I've told you. Try to follow some special landmarks like the giant tree, they will help you to reach the waterfalls. I'm pretty sure that you won't have any trouble with local predators; most of them are intelligent and clever enough to argue and those who aren't will at least think that you're stronger than they are.”Felarya - Jora - Meet the Crisis [Vore]2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Teliyas words were echoing in Jora's mind while she was walking through the forests of the area around their cave. She had left three hours ago and the heat of the sun was already burning down on her. To walk on the soft ground was no problem but from time to time it wasn't that comfortable and she began to miss her flip-flops she was wearing back on Earth. But if everything worked like the blond giantess hoped, she would soon have all the comforts, all the small luxuries back in her life, including a cooled flat and a real, soft bed.
But for now she had just her one p

"Sure," I yelled at the window, "Snow now, when I have something I need to do."
I paced around the kitchen. Ugh.
JP came up at my flippers and nudged me shyly. I looked down, and sighed, scooping him up and sitting on the ground. He nuzzled my flipper.
"Oh, JP, what am I going to do?" I asked him, petting him.
He looked up at me. He had big brown eyes that matched his brown fur.
"I wish you could talk to me, mate," I said, getting up and going to sit at the table.
On the table was the paper that Herbert had written on yesterday and one of the roses from Stomp. I picked them both up, looking from one to the other, then put them down and buried my face in my flippers. JP nudged me, and I sighed again.
Just then, my cell phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and answered it.
"Hello?" I asked, with a tired tone to my voice.
"Hey, PH, it's me," said the ever-cool-soundi

Felarya - Humans - Felaryan Reality (pt.2) [VORE]Teleporting was a thing that could work in two ways: On the one hand it could work perfectly well, without any troubles or unforeseen happenings, everything is fine in such moments. In Trisha’s case it had to be, of course, the second one.
When the teleporter had begun to work, everything seemed fine so far. The typical unconsciousness was overwhelming her within moments. The first difference occurred while she still was sleeping. Normally she had never dreamt before, there was just a deep slumber until she woke up. But not this time.
The last weeks she haven’t dreamt very often and so it was strange to find herself back in a very familiar place, years ago. She was standing in the middle of a big hall, columns made of massive marble were flanking the edges of the room, tapestries in various colors were h

"Hey" I heard a similar voice say.
I looked up and smiled. "Hey Craig"
"You, want to walk home. Or are you taking the bus?" he said with a smile.
I swung my bag over my shoulder. "Yeah I'll walk with you. I prefer getting fresh air anyway."
He grinned. We both walked out the classroom, our of the school and outside into the cold. I breathed in the fresh air and I heard Craig's laugh. "What's so funny?" I asked a bit concerned.
He wiped the snow off the top of my hair and I laughed. "Oh" I said and smiled, "Thanks"

She had tried to search the marines name in a data base but got too many hits to sort through them all. She sighed, her legs growing a bit tired from all of the walking. She was a bit startled at the humans reaction to her techniques, she was trained early on in her search and rescue courses about how to handle smaller creatures in these sorts of environments. If done properly the stomach is the safest place for them to remain out of the cold, and out of harms way. Her pockets, which were more like capsules, would shake violently during movement and were often filled anyway. True Colours - Part 1The whole disaster was, really, just a case of very bad timing. Kieran took the blame upon herself, but it is important to remember that Kieran was only a chlaena, and only a young apprentice chlaena at that. It was inevitable, really, that she would make one or two mistakes during her training to become a fully-fledged Shaper, especially as she had made so few so far.True Colours - Part 13 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The incident happened at exactly thirty-two past five on a Sunday morning. This fact however isn't particularly relevant because chlaena count time differently, and count days of the week differently as well.
In any case, it was the start of an ordinary working day, and both Jalandro and Queyin entered the usual working atmosphere at the usual sort of time. Well, almost Jalandro should technically have been there beforehand according to his own idea of how he intended the day to go, but he typically was always running late according to his own schedule. The alarm clock buzzed beside the mattress, rousing the two humans from their sleep.
Outside, it was still dark. Within a few minutes, dawn would cast its first glow on the horizon, just visible between the neighbouring buildings, through their east-facing window.
Isham groaned, opened his eyes, and yawned. Lying on the mattress, which rested on the floorboards, he was facing the clock, which blared its annoying noise right into his face. He disengaged an arm from beneath his blanket, and, still bleary-eyed, switched it off. There was no electricity in the small flat, so it was a wind-up clock, functioning on batteries. His boss had sold it to him (on credit), just to make sure he would always be at work on time.
He shivered at little. It was that rare time of year when the days were cold, and the nights even more so. A reasonably thick blanket for the night had turned out to be one of those necessary investments they had had to make.
He rolled over onto his other

As far as I can tell,
You two only have motherhood in common.
Sure, you two were once ninjas,
Sure, you both are married,
But besides that, there is nothing else in common.
Huh? You two claim there are more similarities?
I cannot see how,
You two are as different as day and night!
Sure, both of you are beautiful and strong,
Sure, you both love your family with your whole heart,
But I can't see anything else you two share.
Wait, now that I think about it,
You both are married to men of great power,
And will support them without hesitation.
Sure, you were both killed by a son,
So to speak
Yet, you still love them unconditionally.
Maybe you two are not the different in the end.
