I walked into my last class of the day feeling that it couldn't be any better. My birthday this year was just getting better and better. Before I use to hate having my birthday the week after exams. It was just in time for me to get all the bad news about how great I didn't do on most of my exams, and then to round it off, take my report card home for mom and dad to see, and sign, so I could take it back to my councilor who would place it in my permanent record.
But not this year. I had my friend Kim help me out. Over the phone, or in person, we did every piece of homework we were given and studied for every exam and quiz we didn't know we were getting. Some of the teachers try to be sneaky like that. I'm going to brag when I got home, I said to myself as I walked through the door and saw the teacher copying over the last of the grades into a book.
This was the easiest class I had this year. I'm so get

“You can go ahead, I'm meeting up with Keven,” I told her.
“What for?” she asked.
“I'm about to find out who he's been all lovely dovey and trading texts with,” I told her.
“I thought you already knew,” she told me sounding puzzled.
“You know who it is?” I asked her.
“Well yeah,” she said just before we exited the main doors of the school. “You know too,” she added as she looked around the front parking area of the school.
“No I don't,” I argued. “Keven said the same thing, but I don't know who his girlfriend is,” I told Kim.
“Wow,” she said as she turned to look at me wide eyed.
“What?” I demanded of her.
“No wonder you don't know,” she said when we came to another stop at the foot of st
The Gift - Chapter Two“What is the problem again?” Kim asked me.The Gift - Chapter Two4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Let me go over this again,” I told her. “I found a gift box on my desk today at school in my last class. When I got home I found a small envelope in my jacket pocket and it wasn't there before I left school. It was in the same pocket as my iPod that I turned on after my last class,” I told her for the second time.
“Can you think of any time someone would have been able to put the envelope in your pocket?” she then asked me. I knew it was coming. I denied it for the last two hours. Now I had to say it out loud.
“Matthews,” I said the one word that might as well mean doom to me during this part of my life.
“Matthews?” she asked me. “Cole Matthews? The guy that punched you last year when you got into a fight with one of his friends?” She asked in a long descriptive question. “That Matthews?” she added on as if I had missed all that she said before. No
The Gift - Chapter Three“Cool headset,” Keven said when he saw me in class on Tuesday. We didn't have a class together on Mondays and Wednesdays by the way, so this was the first time he had a chance to see them. “Was that the gift?” he asked me as he sat down. The Gift - Chapter Three4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Yep. Sweet ha?” I asked him already knowing that he thought that they were. They, the headphones, were currently hanging around my neck with the music still playing. Because they stood out so much, I couldn't have them on anymore during class like Matthews had predicted, but as much as I was 'glued' to my iPod, I had stopped playing it during exams and such a while back. It turns out that I was able to concentrate a bit more when I wasn't remembering what the next line in a song was.
“Very,” Keven answered. “Did they come with a card or something?” he asked as he turned towards me in his chair.
“No, not really,” I half lied. I hadn't come up with an answer for Matthews' unasked qu
The Gift - Chapter FiveIt was all disjointed, but I still felt good. I felt horny high. First we were at the front of the bus. His hand was pressed into my back as I waited for the door to open. Then we were in the back of the bus as the driver went right by my stop. I was looking into Cole's eyes as he raised his hand to my face. I closed my eyes and I felt his knuckles as he slid the back of his hand along my cheek. The Gift - Chapter Five4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
When I opened my eyes again I was sitting and he was looking down at me and the bus was empty, but still moving. For some reason I wasn't afraid that we would crash or anything. Then I was standing again and we were back at the front of the bus. I don't know if I was waiting for the door to open, but everyone was there again. The bus driver, Betts, who always sat in the front seat, and Cole's father who was sitting outside in his expensive car.
The only thing different was that I don't think anyone saw us. In fact on one else was moving or even breathing as far as I can tell other than me an

I jogged back to the car and took it around the building until I came to the entrance for the underground garage. I pulled up to the gate and there was a keypad waiting for me to punch in something. I took out the card he gave me yesterday and punched in the same code that I used four minutes before to get into the building. Something clicked and the metal doors started to roll up.
I drove in and saw an elevator right in front of me, but it was labeled '1'. The guard at the desk told me to look for the one that said '2'. So I drove around and there it was at the other end of the building. I parked as close to it as I could. I pulled out the three bags that held all my clothes and anything very personal to me before walking over to the elevator and another keypad. I put down one of the bags and pulled the card from my pocket again. The guard said that the code for the rooms operated th

“I haven't dumped anyone,” I told her as I started to lift my headphones into place. I didn't want to talk about it. In fact, I wanted to forget about it. I just wanted to think about Cole. I felt Kim pulling my headphones back as soon as I had them settled them over my ears.
“Then what was that kiss in the hallway and the flirting on the bus?” she asked with as much interest as I've seen her show in a long time.
“Ah!” I exclaimed in exasperation before turning to face her.
“That wasn't a kiss,” I told her not caring how loud I was, since people were going to find out anyway if they didn't already know. “It was an accident. A mistake. I turned around and he walked right into me,” I totally explained.
She looked like she wanted to, or had something else t

Kagami sat on the bench, sweat running down his entire body. He had to be pulled out of the match to rest, Riko noticed he was extremely overtaxing himself against Kirisaki Daishi. Luckily, the game was almost over and Seiren was in the lead by 12 points, thanks to him.
Kuroko, however, seemed to be worst off. On the court, he was has passing far too much and the members of Kirisaki Daishi were catching on. Sweat was flowing off of him.
Kagami warned the Coach: “Riko, I think you should take Kuroko out too.”
She shook her head and refused, telling him, “Kuroko is our weapon right now with you off the court. He just has to survive for 12 more minutes.” Kagami was worried Kuroko would really get hurt if the Coach kept playing him.
In the last 8 minutes, Kagami’s fears became a reality. Kuroko made a pass to Hyuuga, and Hanamiya took the opportunity to swiftly elbow Kuroko with such

I gave her a quick look before I changed my shirt for another one that was darker.
“How about this?” I asked instead of answering her.

I realize now that God don't believe in happy endings. He believes in happy moments. Life isn't anything more than a collection of moments... I'm here to recall some of mine, the good and the bad.
I was born in a little backwater town in Mississippi called Cedarhope. Growing up there wasn't anything special for most people. We were modeled after the plantations from back in the day, and there were just some things that even the generations weren't willing to let go of. But that was alright, the people were happy and, in the end, that's all that mattered.
There was no crime there, and everyone knew everyone else. At its peak there were eighty-five people living there at one time. This town had almost no history and no

The room was bathed in blue moonlight from the large window whose curtains had been set aside; laughter was trickling into the room from the crack at the bottom of the door. It must have floated down the hallway from the ballroom. In the room was a couch that faced the window and upon that couch lay the body of someone who seemed to have given up. It was a young man, maybe just twenty, his long red hair spilling down from the couch side. His jacket had long ago been discarded and so he was left in his frilly white shirt and dark blue vest, his breeches rumpled. From knee down, his legs, one over the couch arm the other hanging to the floor, were clad in shiny black boots. This was the look of someone who no longer cared, someone who had long ago lost his appetite for the false glamour that was society. I do not belong to that life anymore, he thought to himself.
A bird chirped and he moved his head which had been facing the ceiling towards the large window. Outside was a la

La Rukico Tailors was what I expected but larger. It was half a city block long and three stories high. Mr. Stroker said that it was the best in town, but I was more inclined to think that it was the only one in town. It couldn't be missed, once you were looking for it. It was a very clean modern building and it was as tall as the other buildings in the immediate area.
The name was plainly styled, but it was a very contrasting black that made it stand out against the white walls of the building. As we walked through the doors we were almost instantly greeted by a young man, who we both said good afternoon to, before he asked us who we came to see.
I raised an eyebrow thinking that this was a little too formal for a tailer's shop. Mr. Stroker said that he had an appointment with Mr. Rukico himself. That had the brown haired man who was just a little older than myself, leading us ac

He cannot comprehend the vision in front of him, and the task to do so is so great, he is tempted to believe him a sad, drunken apparition. They are on different planes of existence altogether. And how sad it is indeed to find the past at his doorstep while he's been struggling with it all these years. Charlie leans on his knees and throws up.
Finlay takes a step back and avoids the spatter. Nausea thrums and bubbles forth in the pit of Charlie's stomach as he stares at Finlay's dark leather shoes; his neck has turned to rubber, and he can't lift his head to face Finlay. His hands are shaking, and he feels like an old man. A warm pressure presses against his shoulders and he is pulled inside.
He doesn't want Finlay to see him, even less like this. So he does what he knows best

Our history teacher forgets to write important facts on the board ridiculously often. I struggled to keep some information in my head long enough to write it down. It didn't help that Leo, sitting next to me, was fidgeting and constantly looking over his shoulder.
"Hey, Oliver?" he whispered, leaning sideways to me. I mumbled something, still focused on writing.
"I thought you and Glen ignored each other," continued Leo whispering. I froze in the middle of writing a sentence, my heart automatically reacting to Glen's name.
"What?" I whispered back, instantaneously forgetting about the Marshal Rokossovsky.
"I swear he's been staring at you since the lesson started. He always looks away when I turn around though... " replied Leo meditatively.
"Hundlon, you can chat with friends after the lesson ends," frowned the teacher at Leo, who immediately straightened in his seat, looking abashed.
However, it must've been just an act because as soon as the teacher looked away, Leo turn

The pain flowing through my veins
As he ripped my wings from my back
Blood pouring down my smooth back
My vision blurs I see nothing
Why? I whisper to him
Because I love you
he said these words, but didnt mean them.
He tore a part of me away
For his own play
Is his laughter
Are not in vein
Why was it my beautiful wings?
So you can no longer fly, but stay with me.
All I could do was cry
He wiped my tears and he held me
Close so I could hear, his silent
He tickles me to make me laugh and
Shows me my wings are not gone, but
Only just starting again
The tiny bit of hope I had
Is now bigger
Because I can fly again
With each caress of his fingers.

[A Drarry Story-Draco x Harry-Harry Potter]
By: Kaede N. S.
"Do you know? Do you know how much I feel your pain? Feel your loneliness?" Draco Malfoy looked outside of his Slytherin dorm window into the snowy scenic landscape of the English winter at Hogwarts School of Magic. But the light-blonde haired, green eyed boy wasn't paying attention to the landscape. His eyes were fixed on a boy in the Gryffindor called Harry Potter, the boy who lived the terror of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
It wasn't just the title that Harry had that drew Draco close, but also the fact that Harry was a kindred spirit. Both of them had names made for themselves, but lacked the love they so craved and desired by their parents. However, what set them apart the most was friendship. Harry Potter had friends Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and countless others. Draco had friends, but he was essentially alone.
Harry's black hair and eyes matched the glasses on his perfect face, making everyone a
A Small Story about a Village and its Moon As a Chimchar, I used to love listening to stories, so my parents created a friendly competition in which they would try to come up with the most interesting story to tell me. Since mom was so well-travelled, she would almost always win; maybe this was in part because dad was just not a very good storyteller, kya. But one time, he did win. There used to be a Harvest Moon Festival in Kretani as well! It came in October, however, so it comes earlier here in Pokette than what I'm used to. The Harvest Moon was very important to us, since after all, we made our living on farming, and a large, bright moon was a sign that we would have a good harvest.
Every year, the villagers would go to the Regirock Temple in downtown Kretani and pray that we have a fruitful harvest. My mom found this unusual, as she had spent a lot of time in Hoenn and knew that Regirock really did have nothing t

I was sprawled out on the bed when I woke up. My head was hurting, my body ached, and my throat was slightly better, only more dry and sore. Everything pretty much hurt this morning. There was no doubt that I was sick.
Scrambling out of bed, I headed towards my door. I tried to swallow and ended up having a coughing fit. I reached for the door knob with the hand that wasn't covering my mouth.
I was about halfway to the kitchen when I was able to take control of my normal breathing pattern. I wobbled the rest of the way and found Tallis making coffee. The smell was so intoxicating to me, but the taste was horrible. I couldn't take even a sip without getting a stomach ache.
Tallis frowned at me, walking over and felt my forehead with the back of his hand. "You're still sick..." He looked at me. "Go back to bed. There's no way I'm going to let you stay up today."

Gina is a shy, teenage girl. She's consider a rare wolf member because of the fact that she is the only one with silver hair. She spends her day in a small hut that houses the children that are old enough for training. She was the one that made sure the kids were all there.
"And this is how you should set a trap," the teacher said as she started the final lesson. Most of the children were really into knowing how to trap small animals and such, others were too busy goofing off.
The lesson was brief because some mischief was about. The teacher had to dismiss all the kids and they were free to go and play for awhile. The troublemakers were carried out by their ears and some of the other kids stayed with Gina. The children were laughing and climbing all over her, "Gina~! Can we go in the woods again," a plucky young girl named Etsuko asked.
Gina gave an unsure look to see how they would react, "Well, I don't know if we-"
