Jesus loves homosexuals - video"There is not a hotter or more controversial subject being discussed today in our country than homosexuality. Voices are loud and tempers run hot whenever this subject is mentioned. Be assured that I didn't select the topics in this series because I am equating homosexuals with murderers; nor am I suggesting that addicts or homeless people are to be seen the same as terrorists. It’s simply that the church has historically been unkind to these groups, and we believe it is time to make the statement that Jesus loves all people. In today’s text, we see it clearly: everyone has some kind of past, and everyone can be freed from sin."Jesus loves homosexuals - video2 months ago in Personal More Like This

Jesus loves people—all people: prostitutes, drug addicts, abusers—and you. This profound truth is at the very heart of the gospel. Jesus loves the unlovable and touches the untouchable, and during His time on earth, He was compassionate and merciful toward people from all walks of life. What would it be like if you

Art is like a wildflower.
You can stumble across some very lovely wildflowers when you venture out. Seeing that beauty in its natural place is a very special sight to behold; You might even become inspired to have such flowers in your own garden. Some may be tempted to pluck that unique wildflower, leaving its roots behind, only to find that it slowly dies when placed in their garden. A wildflower shouldn't be plucked, it should be respected and loved in its natural state. To snap its stem and claim it as your own is quite a selfish thing to do; It kills the once beautiful flower and will leave you f

Put a list of 15 names.
1. Sets the Christmas tree on fire: Red Skull
Yeah, that's something he would do.
2. Eats all the cookies left out for Santa: Hulk
Who would stop him?
3. Tells every kid Santa isn't real: Cyclops
What a dick?
4. Person who unwraps the gifts to peek then wraps them again: Luke Cage
5. Has too much to drink: Ironman
It's Tony Stark, who's really surprised?
6. Throws up at Christmas dinner: Spiderman
Wait till Jamenson hears about this?
7. Still believes in Santa: Hawkeye
I have this hilarious mental image of Clint staying up on Christmas Eve to catch a glimpse of Santa
8. Sets a trap for Santa's reindeer: Sabertooth
Well, he does need to eat.
9. Starts a family argument at dinner: Loki
Christmas time in Asguard is pretty awkward for Odin with one son being a superhero and the other being a supervillain
10. Spikes the eggnog: Human Torch
That's something Johnny would do.

Second: I made sure that I kept things general so that there were no spoilers.
The Thursday after it came out I went and saw The Amazing Spiderman... Now let me just say, that if you haven't seen this movie you should go see it in theatres before it's gone.
One of my favorite Superhero movies of all time is The Dark Knight (by Christopher Nolan) and I would have to say that The Amazng Spiderman was The Dark Knight of Marvel films, now if you don't know what I mean by that, I mean that it is the best Marvel movie to date. There was a lot of hype going into this movie and I knew from who was involed in the making, that there was a lot of potential here for a great movie. Well I can tell you that somehow this film lived up to and surpased any and all hype. I loved it! The music done by Hans Zimmer and The magnificent six was something to MARVEL at, one of the best soundtracks I've heard an

-Just made it up, what even.
I thought I'd make something that I could use to help me improve my artwork, as well as take satisfaction in the areas that I feel that I do well. I'll include explanations, sort of like a critique and a compliment to myself all at once. I make this public to get any sort of feedback or opinions- If you agree or disagree with what I list and have anything else to add. It's something that I also welcome anyone to use, for those who also wish to keep improving and keeping yourself motivated.
What I'm Happy With
Things aside such as anatomy and the drawing in general, I feel I can do line art rather well. Thickness in lines, the shapes in the drawing, and cleanness I personally find appealing.
When creating character or outfit designs, I think my color choices are easy on the eye. They aren't too contrasty or mix-matched, and don't tend

In case you haven't paid any attention to the shorts that played this
summer over Cartoon Network's DC Nation then you might have missed the
standout work that came from Wolf Smoke Studio.
They're the studio behind Kung Fu Cooking Girls, a short that pretty much brought a new style to the animation table:
This, I believe, is the lead key animator's profile on Pixiv. Just click the image to go there and browse his gallery. It's quality:
Always a beautiful thing to see a new studio doing so well against all odds. They're almost doing the impossible over there in China. Hopefully we'll see them producing more memorable animation. I wish them many years of success and growth.
As far as myself, I've got some animation of my own coming down the pipe. More on that in the future...I'm
Freddie Mercury: Bonus, Find The Message!Freddie...what to say? His voice has liFted me out of some very dark times. A voice that taught angels how to sing, a voice that could be like silken chocolate, oR jagged glass. As versatile as you please, always with Emotion. You knew if he loved you, hateD you, or just plain wanted to be frienDs. He was a gorgeous song-wrIter. If you givE a copy of his lyrics, 'A Winter's Tale' to someone in Africa, they will not only understand what winter really is, but Will long for it. 'Good Old-FashionEd Lover Boy' has inspired thousands of men to serenade their crushes. 'MilLionaire's Waltz' has caused many peOple, myself included, finding themselVes waltzing around the room, whEther with a jacket, a partner, or air. So yeah, that was a good day. I also finished a song.
I also gave blood. And went shopping. And got scrapbooking stuff, rain boots, sunglasses, a floral dress that I could easily see Jameela Jamil wearing (which means it's the bomb-dot-com), and that's about it.

Christmas Poem"The Hands That First Held Mary's Child"Christmas Poem3 years ago in Personal More Like This
The hands that first held Mary's child
Were hard from working wood.
From boards they sawed and planed and filed
And splinters they withstood.
This day they gripped no tool of steel,
They drove no iron nail,
But cradled from the head to heel
Our Lord, newborn and frail.
When Joseph marveled at the size
Of that small breathing frame,
And gazed upon those bright new eyes
And spoke the infant's name,
The angel's words he once had dreamed
Poured down from Heaven's height,
And, like the host of stars that beamed,
Blessed Earth with welcome light.
"This child shall be Emmanuel,
Not God upon the throne,
But God with us, Emmanuel,
As close as blood and bone."
The tiny form in Joseph's palms
Confirmed what he had heard,
And from his heart rose hymns and psalms
For Heaven's human Word.
The tools that Joseph laid aside
A mob would later lift
And use with anger, fear and pride
To crucify God's gift.
Let us, O Lord, not only hold
The child who's born today,
Artist! Motivate Thyself! My Patreon drive is starting to pick up steam. I actually feel like there are people looking forward to seeing my work! I mean, in the past I'd get platitudes and compliments. But words can be hollow. People are actually paying me to produce content?!? That's a bit of a motivating kick, I'll tell you what. It's invigorating. I'm getting all kinds of new ideas for photoshoots. But I need to buckle down and finish editing the ones I've already shot. In case you were wondering, this is about Pax (the kitten I just lost). And everything else. I knew he was never going to be the picture of health, but he was such a fighter and he'd gotten this far and I really thought he'd make it. I guess he only had so much fight in him. He wasn't my favorite - I don't have a favorite kitten - but since he was so dainty he was kind of the little prince of the family. I still find myself looking for him when I go to cuddle the girls. I just want to hold that tiny little kitten in my hand. I want to hear his loud meow again.

This week has beat me up something awful. I had a horrible day Monday. Not only did I not get a job at JCPenney, but they made me drive out there to tell me that. And Tuesday was fun, only excepting it was the one year anniversary of my kitty's death. Wednesday, my "friend" showed up. Thursday, it was still there, and I walked a crazy dog. Let's please have a normal Friday.
Have y'all seen the new Cheerios commercial? With the black dad, white mum, and adorable biracial girl? It's adorable - but some disgusting people are all hung up on the biracial-ness. Throwing racial slurs on the internet, calling it "disgusting," proclaiming surprise that a black dad would actually stay with the family. Freal? This? In 2013? See why I hate people so much? Let's ignore the races for
