I looked up to find Valentin still curled up asleep on the shore.
I stood up and brushed the sand off my arms and legs.
"Valentin?" I said putting my hand on his fluffy fur.
He woke up and let out a big long yawn.

"Shut up human." He growled.
"Not a morning person...er...morning beast?" I teased.
He grunted and got up from the sand.
"Oh no." Valentin said staring at the shore.
"What?" I asked.
"Espen should be here." He whispered.
