Together - PrologueShe was a woman of stature, standing tall at almost six foot, fearless and stubborn. So why was she running along the ledge of the river, screaming at the top of her lungs, and eyes darting at the bobbing shape frantically, trying to keep it in sight? The chill of the lingering winter air whipped around her, she hadn't been prepared for the quick change of temperature when she had arrived, back from the place they'd never return to. Only dressed in a short ebony top, with a blue Sari over it, matching ebony sleeves on her forearms, and tan leather, open-toed boots, she was frankly, freezing to death. The belt around her waist only seemed to do nothing to keep the Sari around her and the wind from her skin. She grumbled, thinking that the temperature should have been more warming if spring was right around the corner.Together - Prologue4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

He had ventured out here because Ovan had called him. Or to be specific, wrote him. The letter had been short, not his normal cryptic, wordy invitations, but something almost curious in its simplicity. Ive been thinking about something Id like to share with you. he had written, and then he had left an area word. That was the second thing that disarmed him, the area word. Usually when Ovan wanted to speak with him, he suggested they meet at one of the lost grounds. Haseo had always seen it as fitting, as those places seemed to match Ovan best, as far as their mystery went. But no he had used an area word.
Haseo stared at it uncertainly for a moment before logging back in to look for him. There was no question about not going. Ovan wasnt the type to call him out just to spend time together or to level up. Hed never call just to stammer or tell a joke or talk about the news the way the others would.
When he arrived, he assumed the older man

The next day you smile, making your way to the school. You had spent the prior night thinking of a way to tell Alfred that you would go with him to winter formal, but still hadn’t come up with anything. You had been so into your thoughts that you hadn’t noticed Gilbert and Antonio walking beside you.
“Morning red,” Gilbert said as you looked over at him and quickly folded Alfred’s note.
“Oh ah hey Gill, Toni,” You say.
“Hey whatcha got there red,” Toni said snatching the note out of your hand.
“Hey Give that back!!!” You whined grabbing for the note as Toni unfolded it and held it out of your reach.
You watched as Toni grinned and passed the note to Gilbert. After Gilbert read the note he looked at Toni then at you.
“So you’re going with him?”
“Actually-,” You began.
“Of Course she is gill can’t you see how red, red is?” Toni said in a sing song voice.

Yoto heard the commotion from outside of the room and grinned an enormous grin. "THAT'S a diversion if I ever heard one! HERE I COME!" He kicked open the door and ran into the room, sword held high.
Both Mistress Mayhem and Professor Pester were far too distracted to even notice Yoto's entrance, but everyone else certainly did and jumped at the sound of the door hitting the wall. After spending one mere second taking in the scene before him, Yoto sprinted up to the tube that contained Hearos and crashed right through it with his sword. Hearos actually yelped with surprise; mainly since Yoto barely missed cutting him in half and sliced off a good chunk of his cape.
"Hey, Ginger!" Dastardos flew over to Yoto and grabbed his arm before he could go sprinting to another tube. "It won't do you anyone any good if you slice these people to bits! Why don't you go untie those poor fools over there?" He pointed his thumb at Beth, Yoko, Patrice, and Seedos. "Vilos and I will take care of

And Eccentric Agent: Christmas WishesHappy, glistening snowflakes fluttered down, blanketing the world in a thin sheet of dazzling white. The world looked like a Christmas card, snow covering the shoppers that rushed past the empty lot, hurrying to get their presents home so they could wrap and hide them before the children saw them. Tiny colored lights decorated most of the buildings in town, as well as other festive decorations. And Eccentric Agent: Christmas Wishes3 years ago in Romance More Like This
The holiday rush was in full swing, but not everyone was feeling jolly. Alone beside a makeshift fire pit toward the back of the vacant lot, a young man rubbed his hands together, trying to keep the bitter cold from filtering through the hole-filled gloves he'd pulled from the dumpster. He was wrapped up tight in a coat twice his size, trying to keep warm. The lot was between two buildings, an apartment building and a night club, that kept the wind at bay for the most part, but with the small white flakes coming down, it was only a matter of time before it got colder.

A trio of ninjas appeared in front of the group, all ready for action. Kohaku narrowed his eyes and placed himself more firmly between the invaders and the girls. Bastards what do you want? he demanded in that same serious voice.
A fourth ninja landed, a lethal-looking nunchaku draped over one shoulder. His forehead protector declared him and his team as Rock ninjas. Your death, son of the Hokage, he hissed, whipping the nunchaku around expertly.
Kohaku backed up, inching Inoko and Mimi away from the assassins and hopefully to safety. The Rock ninjas jumped and landed behind them, effectively surrounding them- and cutting off any escape.
The nunchaku ninja moved closer, spinning his weapon so fast it was almost impossible to see. He lifted it over his head and prepared to slam it down onto the ground. Doton: Gan Tessai!

"What's wrong, Duo?"
"It's...nothing. Nothing at all, Shen."
I was lying. He knows it. I know he does. It's only a matter of time before he calls my bluff...I mean...he's no great shakes at poker, but he's got a poker face when it comes to emotions. And me? My hand of emotions is just so obvious it's not funny.
"Duo...tell me what's wrong...I know something's wrong when I look at your face." Shen smiles.
I grit my teeth softly and mutter. "It's nothing. Hear me?"
Shen places his leather-gloved hand on my shoulder. "If it's nothing, why are you gritting your teeth?"
"Fine..." I sigh heavily. "I..."
"You what?" Shen blinks, pulling me close and wrapping his arms around me. That solid presence...how does he know?
I close my eyes. "I'm hurt. That's all you need to know..."
Shen shakes his head. "

The brunette proportioned her head at an angle to view a certain side of her face in the mirror. She wiped the black colouring painted on her lips as a yawn was released from her mouth. She released the feathers planted in her grotesque hair and wiped the rest of the makeup off her face. It was when she was getting out of the steaming shower when she heard a bird at her window. Hermione found herself a fresh sheet of parchment and her quill and wrote back, saying she agreed and that all was well. She invited the two of them to a local café near her new home the upcoming day. She was surprised to get a quick reply back once she had sent it. Sounds great, she read in her mind.

With a swift gesture he turned the handle for the faucet making his steaming hot shower end. He stood in the bathtub feeling each droplet of water gently cruise down his clean peach skin. For some reason a weird sense of deja vu was spreading across him as the chill of the summer evening invaded the room. He stepped out of the tub carefully onto his bathmat then sauntered over to the mirror, firmly placing his hands on the countertop of the sink. That is when he allowed himself to stare at his reflection as flicks of water dripped from his blonde hair, making his own personal rain shower as he glowered at himself.
His eyebrows had gotten thicker then his brother's.
What an accomplishment.
Though, he found it sickening to just stare at himself in a mirror like a narcissistic girl, for some reason he couldn't pull his gr

Eventually he just ended up staring at the bottom of upper bunk where Ruffnut was. The storm kept getting worse as time went on. He went back to hiding beneath the blankets and stayed like that for what felt like-and could very well have been-hours.
Finally, with a little hesitation, Tuffnut removed the blanket and got out of bed. He climbed the ladder to the top bunk and shook his sister’s shoulder a few times.
“Hey, Ruffnut?” he said softly. She mumbled something before stretching and turning around, propping herself up on her elbow.
“What do you want?” she asked tiredly. Before Tuffnut could answer, a bolt of lightning lit up the room and Ruffnut saw her brother flinch as the thunder sounded.
Rolling her eyes, she scooted ove
