Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 1He had pushed her out of the way.Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 12 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
At the very last second.
He had saved her.
Rose could feel herself sluggishly drifting back into conciseness. She gave her toes a wiggle and counted to ten in her head to check for any damage, but apart from a few cuts and bruises that she could feel, there was no major damage.
Steadily she opened her eyes, her vision faintly blurred. There were clouds of dust everywhere. She could barely see the tunnel walls that surrounded her because of the very thickness of the dust.
That's when she remembered.
She and the Doctor had landed on the planet with the intention of a simple walk, and within thirty minutes, The Doctor had managed to upset the alien culture in front of the president of the planet, and they had ended up running through the alien landscape away from some extremely angry guards.
Hurry up and catch them, they're getting away!
They thought they had been lucky to find a tunnel that led underground so they could hide. The aliens, being nine feet
Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 2Rose was sure her muscles had never ached so much in her entire life. The Doctor hadn't stopped leaning on her for the past ten minutes and every moment he seemed to be getting weaker and weaker. She was forced to drag him by her side, as he moaned and grunted in pain every step of the way. She tried to keep him talking in hopes that he wouldn't collapse on her, asking him every few seconds if they were going in the right direction.Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 22 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"We're nearly there, Doctor." She said to him as she noticed his eyelids drooping and his breath hitching slightly. She remembered they had arrived on the planet next to a giant lime stone which wasn't incredibly hard to spot. Thankfully, it came in to view as Rose turned in the path. But just as she spotted it, the Doctor suddenly let out a loud grunt and he grabbed onto Rose's arm with strength that dragged her down as he seemed to double over in agony, his hands clutching his stomach.
"Doctor?!" Rose exclaimed out of shock and fear as she tried to steady
Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 3Rose had worked out it had been two hours since the Doctor had fell unconscious. She had instantly began to panic but realised that it was most likely not going to benefit neither her or the injured Time Lord. She had managed to calm herself down and help the Doctor as much as she could.Doctor Who: Buried - Chapter 32 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She had decided against trying to drag him anywhere and instead decided it would be best to let him rest where he was, so she had ran to her room, grabbing both of her light pink pillows and a spare dark purple blanket in order to make him more comfortable lying on the grated floor. She had carefully removed his shirt and tie so his chest was less constricted and was actually surprised to see that the bruising around his stomach looked less aggravated than it had. And then it had become a simple waiting game.
Rose looked at his still form underneath the blanket, his shallow breathing making his chest rise and fall slowly. He looked peaceful, his features frozen within his unconscious state. She gave a

Finally, I could open my eyes. Slowly, my vision cleared, and I sat up. Looking around, I recognized the guest room of the TARDIS. The room I slept in.
I had been tucked into bed, but I was still wearing my jeans and shirt. The outfit I wore...
I felt the bed shift next to me, and I looked down.
I remember seeing him...change...but now, he did nothing. He didn't move or speak.
He was the one who kissed me.
I had felt his soft lips against mine, his warmth holding me close.
He was just laying there. He was holding my hand, our fingers entwined. I could feel my cheeks get hot.
Regenerating. He had talked about it before. It was a long and boring process.
It was also inevitable.
My head felt dizzy, and I collapsed back down on the bed. How long had I been out?
The bed shifted again, and I heard a groan.
"_-____?" the Doctor mumbled. I squeezed his hand.
"I'm right here. What do you need?"
A slight grin crossed his face, and he opened his eyes. They were a soft
Stein's LogicIn this world there are many questions, but in this world there are only so many answers. People thirst for answers to the questions they inquire but, not all can be satisfied. Though, certain people desire the answers to their questions more than others. These certain people spend countless hours thinking about things that some people don't even question. If an example of said people is wanted, there is defiantly a scientist that is the perfect specimen. Staying up for days at a time and spending much of it alone in a dark room only illuminated by the glow of his computer he searches all over for the answers he seeks. No sound can be heard except for the repetitive tapping sound of keys being pounded away by a certain man. The full name of said man is Franken Stein, a tall, slender, bespectacled man with almost a grey complexion and his hair the color of steel. He doesn't speak much

He seeks only to give you aid
Many myths about him

He doesn't visit on a whim
My friend is really sweet, you see

She's come to me now
It's finally over
I pass into the gray
Her visage terrible and wonderful to behold
Her fur stark white
The spirit of death is she
She comes to guide my soul
What remains of me
I still my heartbeat
I quench my breath
She has marked me with the scent of death
Close your eyes and expose your neck
Let her sink her fangs into you throat
Let her bleed you of your spirit
Let her bleed you of your soul
Let her guide you into the gray
There is no family now
No pack to depend on
In the end we start our road alone
We will see the ones we love when she visits them
Stare into her eyes now
It's time to follow her
Time for the finial journey
Time for you to rest

An ant ascended the first time from his hole
and saw nothing but gray,
the earth and its mysteries obscured behind a fog.
"Surely my tunnels are all the world," said he,
and returned underground,
and thought no more of it.
And this is man a hundred fold!
This is man, and this is me.
I speak of The Big Picture as what I see
in a mirror or a microscope;
I know only myself and the merest fraction

The grand tapestry of plans within plans
was not revealed to me,
I see one circumstance and declare "life is misery,"

for the decay of a single tree.
What nearsighted foolishness, to say
"The world is this," or "the world is that"
as though the world were anything but a world,
a sphere of light and shade fully owned by neither.
Let "there are no words" be words enough,
and let man's fickle tongue give no more definitions.

My, what hope lies
in the half empty glass,
trembling by tremor and leer.
At such a long road's end,
does it rise and shatter.
What understanding have you,

other than the existence of self.
Imposed, the creation
to be eventually bled out.
Filthy, the very cause
by which the water rises,
boiling with blisters

Once upon a time there was a hoarse. This hoarses' name was Barboara Sproud. Barboara was a very pretty hoarse who liked to trot around in her Sunday lingerie everyday, lived in London.
On the house that she lived on, she lived to race to the elevator and go up top the building so show her very smexy hoarse bod for all to see! But Balto the pineapple didn't like her and called Barboara a whoarse! Which is uh...fruit slang for prostitute. Barboara was so mad that Balto would call her such a not nice word!
"Naay, Balto Naay!"
She whinnied as she leaped off the building to confront the pineapple. But what didn't ocur to Barboara was that hoarses don't fly. So she broked her legs and a week later was turned into glue. And Balto was turned into a smoothie. So the moral is that all hoarses are whoarse.

Many times before supported the cages we call bodies
That once held the souls of the great and the lowly.
Some spend awhile here
Some spend only a short hour or so.
Sometimes fates are revealed
Others aren't so easy to determine.
A Y incision rimmed in crimson
Thin lines holding you together again
After they opened you up
Looking for what happened so suddenly
Artwork spread out over your pale flesh
A walking canvas painted by a mind
Soon set into skin
You never cared what anyone thought of you
You never edited anything you said.
Skilled hands found a way to match the beating of our hearts
In all your songs
Words that you wrote
Lifted us high above the world
Where we stood with the band
Vanquishing whatever fears we had
Behind your drum set.
You were you
We loved you.
We still love you.
We will always love you.
Hardly begin to describe what they feel
We feel the fringes of these things
We don't know you like they do

This was stupid. This whole thing was stupid; stupid and completely illogical in every sense of the word. Did Sunstorm honestly expect all the recruits to partake in this... ritual? Nighthawk hoped not. "Thank Primus for everything he's done for us." Yeah, sure, whatever. Primus and his Covenant-thumping "followers;" what had he- or they- ever done for him? Nighthawk had never believed in Primus, and he had just the same amount of ups and downs as any of his priests.
Okay, that wasn't entirely true. He knew Primus existed; that much was a proven fact. But he did not believe in him as a deity; all-knowing outside forces with the power to control anything and everything in existence was just plain ridiculous, and scientifically impossible. And the idea of worshiping it for that was just plain stupid and a waste of time, as far as he was concerned.
And yet, here he was; standin

I can already hear the chorus of "WHAT, YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT PAINT TOOL SAI?!?" - NO GUYS I DIDN'T!!111!!!ONE!!!! I think I saw it mentioned a couple of days ago at Deviantart and the moment I read "it loads superfast" I knew I had to try it. And I think I am a bit in love!
SAI vs. Photoshop
Assuming you mostly use Photoshop for your digital painting, SAI has three peculiarities:
it loads instantly, because it's super light (less than 5MB when installed), so it doesn't lag
its default brushes allow color blending (putting it more in the Opencanvas/Painter league, but I'll get there in a moment)
it just does that: digital painting. I think it's important to stress this part because Photoshop's ambition basically is to be an all-encompassing graphic program. You can use it for digital painting, for photo editing, for web design, there's even some vector function if you click on the dreaded pen tool. It's great to have so many things in one place but, aside from maki

"Look, you have to come shopping with me, whether you like it or not."
Vinyl attempted to hide behind herself in a rather convoluted foetal position, groaning into the paving slabs and old chewing gum.
"I don't like clothes shopping. Come on, we just went to your rehearsal, can we just go home?"
Octavia dug her hooves in further, metaphorically this time. Her disappointment became a saddened pout, and she made sure to force her eyes to water with awaiting tears. Vinyl glanced at the imminent and purposeful downpour, and released a resigned sigh. She got onto her hooves, noticing how the tears rapidly evaporated, and a smile unfolded on Octavia's face.
