The Big School FightIt was one of those days when nothing goes right; I was getting up from a good night's sleep by the alarm clock that read 7am. When I was going to take a shower, I got blasted with ice-cold water and shrieked.
After covering up with a towel, I went to my room just to dry off then wrapped my towel around my waist. I looked in my closet to see if I could find any clothing and luckily found my black T-shirt, my denim capri pants, and my Converse shoes.
By 7:16, I got dressed then I grabbed my school supplies heading for the kitchen where I could smell mom's delicious blueberry pancakes and her french toast with powdered sugar on the top.
I sat down and started to dig into the pancakes, gobbling them down while drinking some of the orange juice. Mom told me that as soon as I get home, I had to do my chores; you know, clean the garage, wash dishes, etc.
At 7:35, I grabbed my backpack, got my school supplies, and headed out the door, telling mom that I'll be home by 3:00. By 7:50, I reached

Amongst the bustling streets of Philadelphia, Eric Venia walked with his hands in his brown coat, purposely avoiding the Christmas-spirited carolers and fraudulent Santas as he walked by. The snow fell softly to the ground as a slight breeze stung his face in the loaded streets. Most of the crowds were enthralled with the Christmas spirit. Eric, however, was not. The people amassed throngs that were thick and difficult to pass through, unless someone was to slip down the dark alleyways between the old red brick buildings. Eric did so, knowing he was heading for trouble making shortcuts through the one way streets. He could only hope he wouldn't be paying for his brooding mood and rash decisions from a heartbreaking woman.
As it turned out, if he wouldn't have bad luck, he would have no luck at all. Four burly men crawled out from behind the dumpsters. He looked behind him for an escape, but two more men appeared from the trash he had walked past, foolishly obliviou

He grinned as the engine whined and grew labored as he climbed a hill. Inside his hummer was his squad of soldiers. One manned the .50 cal mounted on the roof. His other three sat in the seats, weapons at the ready. They all had a blank look on their face, prepared for the fight ahead. One of the soldiers checked his rifle safety and tapped his forward assist, making sure the bolt was forward. He smiled slightly and sat his weapon back on his lap. He looked over to the center of the vehicle and looked at the person sitting there. He snorted as the passenger held her hands in her lap, head hanging low. He looked out the window, out into the darkness. He bobbed as the humvee started to slow. The driver hit the brakes and the truck and skidded to a halt in front of a dense wooded area. He turned the switch to the hummer, the diesel engine sputtering and shutting off. The paExiled - Dragon TF6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

These questions ran through 16 year old Josh's mind. His friends had always said he was like a dragon, even earning him the nickname "Dragon Boy" among his group of friends. Regardless of his nickname, Josh himself loved dragons. Even at 16, he had always wished he could meet one. Oddly enough, Josh could actually sympathsize more with dragons than with most humans.
Some of Josh's "dragon-like" traits were the fact that he was a loner. He didn't have many friends. The reason for his having so little friends was because he was very skeptical about new people, even more so than most others. He also hated being around a lot of people. Whenever he was in a large group, even if it wasn't that many people, he always felt too cramped. His parents and teachers thought he may possibly have had some form of autism.

However, from 100 feet there is not a lot of time to slow down, so they landed rather roughly. May hit her head on a rock and was knocked unconscious. When she woke with a large headache, the dragon was nowhere to be found, but her head was bandaged where the rock split the skin. If you can deal with this story ending abruptly with no end in sight, then by all means read on, and dream.
People dream. It's natural. Daydreams you usually control and you can make them whatever you want. Sometimes they get forgotten, sometimes they spring back to life after a long time, or just a heartbeat. Sometimes, they come true.

I never knew why he left us, and neither did Veronica. Whenever I asked my mother, she would give a rather vague answer, like that he simply got tired of living with us and wanted something more from life, then quickly change the subject. Clearl

After hours of singing, dancing, and acting, I was absolutely exhausted. I went backstage to the dressing room, changing out of my dance clothes into my normal ones. With my short, black hair, brown eyes, and narrow face, I always seemed to blend into the crowd wherever I went. Whenever I met someone, I often wondered if they would recognize me the next time we saw each other. Everything about me just seemed so… unmemorable.

I turned around to see one of my friends, Robert Dayson, walk up to me. He had just finished changing into his normal clothes as well, including one of his favorite pieces of clothing: a yellow sweatshirt. Apparently, he had inherited that sweatshirt from his grandmother just after she died. He had been very close to his grandmother, so it would stand to reason that

The young man walked away wordlessly, going back down the street from which he came. The dragon was overcome with curiousity as he wanted to know who this familiar young boy was and, with a large flap of its wings, took off from its perch.
The aging man was seen staring out the window, watching as the blue dragon flew off in the same direction as the young man that had knocked on his doors

Either way, the thick green forest that blurred by was strangely beautiful. It's not like it was anything new though. Living in western Canada, I'd kinda gotten to know the forest quite well, but something about this section of highway

I couldn't believe that not only had I been able to find a home of my own,(granted this was the country not the residential city I was used to) but also was able to keep one of the computers to use as my own, plus my parents said they'd leave me alone.
