ZombiesThe dead stumble into the night
Empty graves left open
Under the moons eerie light
The smell of brains is potent
Horrified Screams pierce through the air
Ghastly figures roar through the town
On destructive paths, no one knows where
Terrified beings dragged to the ground
With blood, they'll paint the morning skies
Killing everything in sight
Under the silver-lit moon, it's no surprise
The undead will win the fight
Everyone becomes a mortal foe
Civil war in the streets
If you have fear, don't let it show
The zombies plot is almost complete
Pain and agony in every shout
They ignore their merciful cries
The human race they will wipe out
An promise you can't deny
Crimson eyes wathing the wicked
The chaos is quickly spread
Murder is a plague being transmitted
As if the streets were paved in red
The population has decreased
The battle was won
Now they will return to peace
For the bloody war was done

They're coming. I can smell them. The scent of rotting meat and blood.
It's not like in the movies. They're intelligent they can think, they know enough how to pull a trigger.
The scariest are the ones who died most recently, because there muscles and brains aren't very rotten, so they think and move the best.
They think like people, cruel and caniballistic, and the most recent treat the others like slaves, because they're honestly all their good for. After a certain point, they are utterly incapable of independent thought.
They don't feel pain, they don't feel fear, and the only one who talked to me was one who had recently eaten, and all he said was that all there was was an all consuming hunger that made everything else unimporant. To eat was all that was important. Morals that were once sacred in life disappear in death.
They don't starve. I will. I'm very close to my end.
I won't be able to stay here much longer, and they've laid seige to

You neither need a necromancer
Nor a virus in the air
The zombies are around us
Some looking like you and me
Some you can easily discover
While others remain a mystery
They don't have brain on their menu
No blood on their face
They don't move like robots
They've got elegance and grace
They are controlled by something
That's what they all share
Some want you to be like them
While others don't care
The zombies I'm talking about
Have nothing to do with movies and books
The zombies I'm talking about
Are what the media has on its hooks
What the fashion says is law
And the TV's never wrong
The internet's the world
Where those zombies belong

They care about no one but themselves.
They drive nice cars and have casual sex.
They play their crude music on their radios,
And on their cell phones they text.
They wear Hollister shirts and Armani suits
Abercrombie jeans and Nike shoes
But when it comes to artists like Poe,
They just never seem to have a clue.
They go from girl to girl like a bunch of frogs
Jumping from lily pad to lily pad.
Unfaithful and unreliable is what they are,
Which is what makes the girls so sad.
They never had to starve & never went hungry
As they always had food on the table.
They were allowed to watch their favorite shows
Because they never went without cable.
And because of that they have no passion,
They have no substance, they have no depth.
It is like they live without a spirit
The way they look so dead.
But while they lack the passion, spirit, and vigor
That I think I have,
They seem to always have the happiness
That I really wish I had.

Will never again
Yes, our hearts were broken
They died slowly in our chests
You had mine, I had yours
Nowhere they are
Nowhere they are
Yes, I did cut and make you bleed
It was the demon inside me
Demon inside me
How cold, yet so warm
How lost, yet so alive
Your heart will be whole
I promise, I do promise
You know I love you
As I still hold the piece of you
In my chest, in my chest
Will you keep my heart safe?
Death Angel will open his wings
Broken wings, broken wings
To give his last protection
His Fallen Angel
Will be safe, loved
As he promised once
Yours, mine, always.

Zombies ate my neighbors
and then they came for me.
I ran into the house,
they ran into a tree.
They smashed up all my windows,
they smashed open my doors,
I opened up my fridge,
and then I drank a Coors.
First they ate my cat
and then they ate my dog,
but when they got to me
I was passed out like a log.
They picked me up and carried me
over to my bed
and then they left without a trace:
my brain was already dead.
The Revenge of ZombiesRise, my zombies,The Revenge of Zombies4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
for we shall have the night,
that humans took for centuries.
We shall overcome,
with blood in our teeth,
and blood in our hearts.
For we zombies have eternal life,
with super strength, decelerate powers, and absolute fear.
We fight together with honor, bravery, and courage,
that makes us eternal.
We hunt for blood, we hunt for our fate,
And we will protect our beloved one's from humans.
Come my brothers, sisters, and all of you.
Let us show what humans don't have,
by biting them with full power,
from our powers of blood,
and to protect our nation of zombies.
And when that time comes,
we shall rise together,
to unleash total destruction.
Let the zombie nation begin.

Think of happy places I've been
I look one more time before I take that first step
Open my mouth for the last time, this is my final breath
It's like seeing the world for the first time
I'm walking a tightrope, the super thin line
My fear's nothing but beneath me
Society's staring in awe, what a sight to see.
I have no feelings, they've all slipped away
This is the part where black and white fade to gray
Sickened, I stumble, waving my arms in fright
I guess my downfall was everyone else's delight.
In a blink, the rope snapped in two
A horror I never thought I knew
I broke away from society
The riskiest choice I'd ever had to do.

Then I was a refugee, because the zombies destroyed civilization.
Later I became a soldier, to take back what I had lost.
I fought battles, and helped survivors.
But Army became arrogant, and was never there for the country.
Then I became a Hunter, killing the undead menace.
Soon after I was a savior, because I helped those in need.
The dead continued to grow, as the world turned into a wasteland.
I continued my travels, doing what I can.
More people died, and even more dead returned to life.
But I have hope that we will soon turn the tide.
I find less and less living, but I help them to safety.
Then government collapsed, and with it law and order.
People started making fortresses, to help survive.
I bring them others, who were stranded among the dead.
Things started to look up, and I let my guard down.
The zombies attacked, in larger numbers than before.
I did what I could, but soon the walls fell.
Somehow I escaped and continued to kill zo

sweet moments spent with you
minutes of pure pleasure
whatever you got it's all good

being in love with whole world
because you are the only one

And bring some light to our room
Let me place it on my mantle
Around the room there are rose petals all astrewn
To set up an amorous effect
Well be making love until it is high noon
Let me try to relieve all your stress
With all my massage oils
Let me rub you until the stress has left
Come with me, my princess so royal
Lets pop champagne and make a toast
To a night where our bed shall forever boil
Let me set the mood for you tonight.

I don't remember
How it looks like
Well I don't care
I lost my soul
Or my soul left me
I don't know
And I can't see
Cause I lost my eyes
I lost all of me
And I lost my family
No words to say
I'm already going
I lost my dream
And I lost my friends
Let's be honest
I lost everything
So, now I'm standing here
And I want to speak
But no one there, who could hear me

They have used such scary things
Just to lead me off the track
But nobody could convince
Me that you're not coming back
They don't know about our deal
You have promised and you will
Always come back to my side
As an invisible guide

If tears left scars
would your face be?

I hear the pitiful moans.
I grasp tight on my pistol,
In the dark all alone.
They come from the shadows,
And they tear down my walls.
They follow my steps,
As I run down the halls.
I shoot as I tremble,
I keep them away.
With a cold dripping fear,
I keep them at bay.
They're crawling so closer,
I can't hold them off.
They grab and they gnaw me,
Please! Just please make it stop!!!
But you came along,
And you blew them to pieces.
Not a knight in white armor,
But you've still left me speechless.
We head down the stairs,
We have no time to waste.
We go as a pair,
To our inevitable fate.
The creatures become numerous,
Though the few that we shot through.
Before we go down,
I just wanted to tell you.
Though they scare me to death,
Though the terrors are rife.
Fighting zombies with you,
I had the time of my life.
Don't be ashamed to cryDo you know that feeling of exasperation?Don't be ashamed to cry4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
That means you are giving up, slowly.
You just stare around you and wonder
Where was the life you once loved so much?
Where was the life where everything was simple?
Where was the life where there were no worries?
You stare intently stare at nothing.
Just a space filled with nothing but blankness.
You analyse your life and how much it's worth,
Thinking no one loves you, no one even cares.
The ache how can you describe that ache?
Literally drying your heart as if it was wet laundry.
Your breath grows heavier, slower
Your dainty fingers dance below your pool of eyes,
The moisture stains your finger and you stare
There's only one way to let out the pain:
Cry and release the demons.
Your Suicide LetterAll the doctors and all the pillsYour Suicide Letter4 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Just can't cure how it feels
To be broken up so deep inside
That you swear you've already died.
Therapy is just a waste,
It puts your thoughts in a different place.
The promises that have all been said
Are just made up and in your head.
The crying is worthless, the hoping and dreaming.
Because nothing makes sense when your blood is screaming.
The sharp objects, they call to you,
"Make some cuts that are brand new."
The laughter means nothing on the outside,
Because it's from the times you've lied.
This story, however, is the truth; You're too tired to lie.
So tonight you guess this poem is your way to say goodbye.
Stand aloneA girl stands,Stand alone4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Alone and weak
As insults rain down
Across her rosy cheeks
Staining once pure skin
Is a knife to her heart.
Just kill yourself
No one would care
Silently she moves
Their taunting words
Haunting her every move
Where are you going?
Oh wait it doesn't matter
No one would love a bitch like you.
When she gets home,
Her mother doesn't ask
How she is
She goes to her room,
Cries more than she ever has before
And wishes for her life to end
As she falls asleep
She prays for some escape
From her personal hell.
Then she awakens the next day
To begin it all over again
Who would ever love a girl like her?

I'm sorry the dream must end.
It's time to wake up
and face the world.
Reality is harsh,
the people are cold,
that's how it is
and you must wake up.
For you have been asleep long enough.
Time to wake love,
and be with your people
they wait for you
and have never given up.
You can't let them down.
The alarm's going off,
and reality is waiting.
You are only human
and cannot do much
but everyone is important
and life is waiting just for you.
Can you hear their cries?
And the bellows of pain?
You can stop them
but only if you wake up.
It's time to wake up love,
and face the world.
They cry for your return
and you can't let them down.
The Angel Who Fell From HeavenThere was an angel of the honest skies,The Angel Who Fell From Heaven4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Who's white wings were struck,
By the lashes of lightning cries.
She fell from above into earthly muck,
To the wistful wonder of two youths of yore.
With her face in distress of her plight,
She took two feathers of fire,
And gouged out her eyes of eternal light.
In the dirt this heavenly being did tire,
Until she was awoken by the prodding of paws.
Two days rolled past her corrupted visage,
As meek mortals tended to her pain,
To the dismay of the denizen's rage.
In tears this being of beauty tried in vain,
To call out for help from her blood brethren.
For a month and a day she did heal,
Yet vile villagers could not bear her presence,
And coerced her to sup their sordid meal.
Never did this creature fall to fever or trance,
In her wrath she weaved a callous curse.
Upon her saviours she bestowed a charm,
A habitat of hope that kept them secure,
From insanity of idiots who knew only harm.
Though evil began to corrupt her mind so pure,
To be punished

We can't even comprehend the meaning of.

We secretly yearn for energy like infernos

For even one neuronal cerebral response
That signals we are more than hollow husks
Just so that
We can feel alive again.

Through the valley of penury and pain,
Did I find you: an angel before my sight,
And I knew you were mine.
But why did you have to love me?
Only just to break me apart.
Responsibilities rest heavy in your heart,
Could you find me: a monster lost in the night,
And I knew I had to flee.
It wasn't as if I was scared,
To be at war with my emotions.
Never believing the lies or the notions,
You can't find me: a demon ready to fight,
And I knew we no longer cared.
