i can die happy now

Back when the British Empire was at it's peak, a famous quote existed which encapsulated how powerful it was; "The Sun never sets on the British Empire." This was so due to the amount of colonies they controlled all over the world.

I am of Indian origin and have always wanted to employ my heritage into my work and I felt that this was a good opportunity.

I didn't want to employ the stereotypical elements such as the Taj Mahal and so on as I know India is more than that. The title comes from the earlier mentioned quote, and it felt like the sun finally set on the British Empire when they left India.

Everything here means something, from the jewels to the petals, so I hope you enjoy. I'd explain it all but this is getting a bit long so if you're interested let me know. As you may be aware after reading this; this piece means a lot to me.
