Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter ThreeYou and Clint had finished your cups of coffee. You sat at the table for a while. You asked Clint to teach you some archery. He happily agreed. He was very nice to you. He didn't say much, but when he did talk he was always polite and funny. Suddenly, Clint put a hand up to his ear.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Three3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Yeah, I'm here," he said into his earpiece.
You hadn't even noticed it before. You looked at him, puzzled. He listened intently to whoever was on the other end.
"Yeah, I'm with her now," Clint said, looking at you.
You furrowed your eyebrows. Clint continued to listen to his earpiece.
"I'll bring her up now," Clint said. "Barton, out."
Clint lowered his hand and looked up at you. He stood up and walked to your side.
"Director Fury wants to meet you," he said. "You up for it?"
"Yeah, sure," you replied.
You stood up and walked down more gray hallways with Clint. His
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Seven"So, tell me about yourself, [name]," Clint said before biting into a sandwich.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Seven3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
You looked up from your own sandwich at Clint.
"What do you want to know?" you asked.
"Family, interests, stuff like that."
"Well I was born in [hometown]. College is pending, apparently. I like reading, writing, movies, making stuff "
"What kind of stuff?"
"Well, I draw, I've been known to make jewelry, I like pottery. I have a lot of interests."
"Cool. Nice job keeping the slight air of mystery there, Icy."
"Oh, um, thanks I guess."
Clint winked at you over his sandwich. You refused to let him see the rosy pink your cheeks were turning. Your throat started to tickle, so you coughed a little. The cough was much deeper and more painful than you thought it would be. You made sure to cover your mouth and turn away from Clint's and your food.
"That doesn't sound good," Clint remarked. "You okay?"

You gulped as you gripped the metal handle of the door to the house. It was your first real party since you had became an aspiring actor. Not many people knew of you, and that was why you were here. Your old friend Robert suggested that you come so that you might make some new friends, and maybe get signed to act for a movie. You took a deep breath as you slowly opened the door, walking into the room. Heads turned to look at you. You were wearing a beautiful, long, [insert your favorite color here] dress. You heard one man whistle. Your face turned a deep crimson. After a moment, everything went back to normal. You strode across the room, looking around as you walked. Then you spotted him. He was sitting across the room at the bar, staring at you. When you made eye contact with him, he smirked slightly and beckoned you over. You were surprised, why would he want to speak with you? Why would he even care about you? Questions raced through your mind as you walked towards him.
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter TwoYou woke up again without the IV in your arm. You still had the heart monitor clip on your finger. Besides you, the room was empty. You wanted to go see Clint. You looked into the open doorway. There was a burly guard dressed in black standing just outside.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Two3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Um, excuse me?" you said weakly.
Your voice was still coming back to you. The guard looked in at you. He raised his eyebrow.
"Where's Clint?" you asked.
"Agent Barton is at the firing range," the guard replied. "Would you like to go see him?"
"Let me call a doctor to make sure you're good to go," the guard said again.
You nodded again. The guard made a call on a walkie-talkie. Soon, a doctor came in and did a quick check-up on you. She said you were all right to get up and move around. She fetched you some clean clothes from the closet in your room. After the guard left, you got
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter FourNatasha showed you to something resembling a locker room and gave you a skintight black SHIELD jumpsuit. You held it up in front of you. It looked small.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Four3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Do I really have to wear this?" you asked apprehensively.
"Trust me, you get used to it. Maneuverability is a lot better in it," she said.
"Okay, I'll trust you on this one."
Natasha smiled. You turned away and stripped down. You had to jump, shimmy, and shake to get all the way into the suit. Once you got the zipper up, the suit was surprisingly comfortable. You turned back to Natasha.
"Looks good on you," she said.
"Really? Thanks!" you said.
"Clint's taken quite a shine to you."
"Really? What do you mean?"
"I've known Clint for a long time. It's almost impossible to tell if he likes anyone. With you, it's clear as day."
"I still don't follow you."
"He thinks you've got real potential.
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter SixYou woke up slowly the next morning. You opened your eyes only to be blinded by the sunlight streaming through your window. You grunted, turned onto your other side and pulled the covers over your head. It wasn't time to get up just yet according to the [Name] Clock.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Six3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Suddenly, the covers flew up and folded over, landing halfway down your calves. You shrieked when you saw Clint had perpetrated this act. He half-smiled at you. You pursed your lips together in a girly pout as you looked up at him.
"Rise and shine, Icicle," Clint said.
You muttered something, then sat up.
"Usually, people who give me rude awakenings get turned into popsicles," you growled.
"I brought coffee."
"You're forgiven! Gimme, gimme, gimme!"
Clint laughed warmly as he handed you your coffee. You gratefully took a sip and smiled at Clint. His half-smile turned into a full one as he took a drink from his own cup of coffe
Bruce X Reader-Chapter SeventeenAfter who-knows-how-many hours, you and Bruce found yourselves buzzing into what was supposed to be New York. The skyscrapers looked the same, but the ground was in pure chaos. Alien-looking creatures stalked around, shooting cabs and running people off the streets. You looked up; their cruisers were whizzing past above you. After some ingenious driving by Bruce, you came upon some familiar faces. Steve, Natasha and Clint (who you were surprised to see back) stood talking to each other in front of a tall white building. Steve turned to face you as Bruce slowed the bike, then brought you to a stop a few feet away. You and Bruce hopped off as the other three stared at you, eyes confused. You walked up to them, keeping a fairly safe distance.Bruce X Reader-Chapter Seventeen3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Well, this looks horrible," Bruce said.
"I've seen worse," Natasha commented.
"No, we could use a little worse."
"Stark, we've got him," Steve said
