Bruce X Reader-Chapter SeventeenAfter who-knows-how-many hours, you and Bruce found yourselves buzzing into what was supposed to be New York. The skyscrapers looked the same, but the ground was in pure chaos. Alien-looking creatures stalked around, shooting cabs and running people off the streets. You looked up; their cruisers were whizzing past above you. After some ingenious driving by Bruce, you came upon some familiar faces. Steve, Natasha and Clint (who you were surprised to see back) stood talking to each other in front of a tall white building. Steve turned to face you as Bruce slowed the bike, then brought you to a stop a few feet away. You and Bruce hopped off as the other three stared at you, eyes confused. You walked up to them, keeping a fairly safe distance.Bruce X Reader-Chapter Seventeen2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Well, this looks horrible," Bruce said.
"I've seen worse," Natasha commented.
"No, we could use a little worse."
"Stark, we've got him," Steve said
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter ThreeYou and Clint had finished your cups of coffee. You sat at the table for a while. You asked Clint to teach you some archery. He happily agreed. He was very nice to you. He didn't say much, but when he did talk he was always polite and funny. Suddenly, Clint put a hand up to his ear.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Three3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Yeah, I'm here," he said into his earpiece.
You hadn't even noticed it before. You looked at him, puzzled. He listened intently to whoever was on the other end.
"Yeah, I'm with her now," Clint said, looking at you.
You furrowed your eyebrows. Clint continued to listen to his earpiece.
"I'll bring her up now," Clint said. "Barton, out."
Clint lowered his hand and looked up at you. He stood up and walked to your side.
"Director Fury wants to meet you," he said. "You up for it?"
"Yeah, sure," you replied.
You stood up and walked down more gray hallways with Clint. His
Bruce X Reader-Chapter Six"How did it go?" you asked Natasha once you got to the bridge.Bruce X Reader-Chapter Six3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Pretty well. Hit some speed bumps along the way, though," she replied.
Tash shook her head to the side, in the direction of two new men: a tall guy with long blond hair and a red cape, and one that you actually recognized, with dark hair.
"Hello, there," the dark-haired man said.
He walked up to you to shake your hand.
"Tony Stark, genius, millionaire, playboy, philanthropist, superhero," he said. "Whoa, hell of a handshake."
"We all know who you are, Mr. Stark," you replied, laughing slightly. "[Name]."
"Please, call me Tony, don't need any formalities. Nice to meet you, [name]."
Tony then proceeded to introduce himself to everyone else, immediately buddying up with Bruce.
"And that," Fury said, pointing, "Is Thor."
You walked over to the blond guy.
"Oh, yeah, Coulson told me about you," you said, offering Thor your hand. "I'm [name]."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, M
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter TwoYou woke up again without the IV in your arm. You still had the heart monitor clip on your finger. Besides you, the room was empty. You wanted to go see Clint. You looked into the open doorway. There was a burly guard dressed in black standing just outside.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Two3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Um, excuse me?" you said weakly.
Your voice was still coming back to you. The guard looked in at you. He raised his eyebrow.
"Where's Clint?" you asked.
"Agent Barton is at the firing range," the guard replied. "Would you like to go see him?"
"Let me call a doctor to make sure you're good to go," the guard said again.
You nodded again. The guard made a call on a walkie-talkie. Soon, a doctor came in and did a quick check-up on you. She said you were all right to get up and move around. She fetched you some clean clothes from the closet in your room. After the guard left, you got
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter FourNatasha showed you to something resembling a locker room and gave you a skintight black SHIELD jumpsuit. You held it up in front of you. It looked small.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Four3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Do I really have to wear this?" you asked apprehensively.
"Trust me, you get used to it. Maneuverability is a lot better in it," she said.
"Okay, I'll trust you on this one."
Natasha smiled. You turned away and stripped down. You had to jump, shimmy, and shake to get all the way into the suit. Once you got the zipper up, the suit was surprisingly comfortable. You turned back to Natasha.
"Looks good on you," she said.
"Really? Thanks!" you said.
"Clint's taken quite a shine to you."
"Really? What do you mean?"
"I've known Clint for a long time. It's almost impossible to tell if he likes anyone. With you, it's clear as day."
"I still don't follow you."
"He thinks you've got real potential.
Bruce X Reader-Chapter ThirteenYou, Natasha and Bruce fell through a hole in the floor. You had no idea what was going on, only that shit was hitting the fan.Bruce X Reader-Chapter Thirteen3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"[Name]!" Natasha called.
You got up and looked at her. Her leg was trapped under some sort of metal beam. You held it up as much as you could as she got out. Bruce was lying face down on the ground, back heaving. His hands were balled into fists. He was groaning.
"Bruce?" you asked.
Oh, God, you thought.
"Bruce! Bruce, try to keep calm okay?" you asked.
You turned and mouthed 'Hide!' to Natasha. She warily ran off, leading some stray workers away.
"Bruce, remember your secret, okay? Everything's going to be okay. We'll be okay, all right?"
Bruce's pained groans got even louder. You had no way to emotionally prepare yourself for the inevitable.
"Bruce, I swear on my life that we'll make it out of here okay--,"
"YOUR LIFE?!" Bruce yelled, whi
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Seven"So, tell me about yourself, [name]," Clint said before biting into a sandwich.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Seven3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
You looked up from your own sandwich at Clint.
"What do you want to know?" you asked.
"Family, interests, stuff like that."
"Well I was born in [hometown]. College is pending, apparently. I like reading, writing, movies, making stuff "
"What kind of stuff?"
"Well, I draw, I've been known to make jewelry, I like pottery. I have a lot of interests."
"Cool. Nice job keeping the slight air of mystery there, Icy."
"Oh, um, thanks I guess."
Clint winked at you over his sandwich. You refused to let him see the rosy pink your cheeks were turning. Your throat started to tickle, so you coughed a little. The cough was much deeper and more painful than you thought it would be. You made sure to cover your mouth and turn away from Clint's and your food.
"That doesn't sound good," Clint remarked. "You okay?"
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter EightYou hadn't realized you had fallen asleep. You were momentarily puzzled by the darkness in your room, but then you realized your blinds were shut. You stood up, coughing, and went to open them. The sun was setting in the distance. You felt even more stuffed up than before, so you decided to go take a shower.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Eight3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
You discarded your sweats on the floor of your bathroom and turned the water on to as hot as you could stand. You breathed in the quickly-forming steam. The humidity relieved some of the pressure in your sinuses. It also did a little to soothe your throat. Once you got out, you wrapped yourself in a fluffy white towel and made your way to your closet. You changed into a new set of black sweats. Just as you sat down on your bed, a knock sounded on your door.
'Please be Clint, please be Clint, please be Clint ' you thought to yourself.
To your relief, Clint entered your
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Five"So, want to go get some dinner?" Clint asked.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Five3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Yeah!" you replied happily.
You were starved. You needed some sustenance!
You walked with Clint to the cafeteria from earlier. You got in line with food trays in hand. You got spaghetti and meatballs. Clint opted for chicken and rice. You found a small table and started eating. You had completely forgotten your manners, wolfing down your food like you hadn't eaten in days. Clint laughed at you.
"Slow down," he said quietly. "You're going to make yourself sick."
"What? I'm hungry," you protested.
You looked up to see Natasha searching for a table. You waved your hand to get her attention. Her eyes snapped to you. She smiled faintly and made her way to your table. She sat down at the third chair across from you and Clint.
"Hey, guys," she said coolly.
"Hey, Natasha," you replied.
"Hi, Nat," Clint sai
Bruce X Reader-Chapter SixteenYou shimmied into your jumpsuit as Bruce put on his clothes from the day before. Often, he would look over and smile brightly at you. "Hey, Bruce?" you asked.
"Yeah?" he responded.
"Is, um is this a fling?"
Bruce walked over and sat next to you.
"What do you mean?" he asked softly.
"Well, this has all been going kind of fast. Plus, you were saying you wanted to hole up somewhere after this was all over with. And I'll still be with SHIELD "
"Hm. I guess, under those parameters, this could classify as a fling."
You looked forlornly at the ground.
"Okay," you said.
Bruce immediately looked worried. He hadn't meant for it to come out like that.
"But hey, I don't want this to just be a fling," he said.
You looked up hopefully.
"Really?" you asked.
"Yes. I absolutely meant what I said last night. I love you, and I wa

You gulped as you gripped the metal handle of the door to the house. It was your first real party since you had became an aspiring actor. Not many people knew of you, and that was why you were here. Your old friend Robert suggested that you come so that you might make some new friends, and maybe get signed to act for a movie. You took a deep breath as you slowly opened the door, walking into the room. Heads turned to look at you. You were wearing a beautiful, long, [insert your favorite color here] dress. You heard one man whistle. Your face turned a deep crimson. After a moment, everything went back to normal. You strode across the room, looking around as you walked. Then you spotted him. He was sitting across the room at the bar, staring at you. When you made eye contact with him, he smirked slightly and beckoned you over. You were surprised, why would he want to speak with you? Why would he even care about you? Questions raced through your mind as you walked towards him.
Bruce X Reader-Chapter Fourteen~Bruce's POV~Bruce X Reader-Chapter Fourteen3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I remember starting to come back after we started falling. I looked at my hands. Mentally I was back to being Bruce Banner, physically I was still the Hulk. I looked around. I panicked when I saw [name] falling headfirst, unconscious. She was somewhat closer to the ground than me. I dived toward her and wrapped my arms around her. For once, I prayed I wouldn't change back until we hit. With me underneath, we would probably be able to survive the fall. I positioned myself back to the ground. I closed my eyes and braced myself for the fall.
I woke up feeling like a nightmare. I was covered in debris, as well as laying in it. And, as usually happens, I was naked.
"Son?" someone cried.
I looked up. Some old guy with a broom stood atop a large pile of bricks.
"You an alien?" he asked.
"No," I replied.
"Well, son you've got a condit
Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter SixYou woke up slowly the next morning. You opened your eyes only to be blinded by the sunlight streaming through your window. You grunted, turned onto your other side and pulled the covers over your head. It wasn't time to get up just yet according to the [Name] Clock.Hawkeye X Reader-Chapter Six3 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Suddenly, the covers flew up and folded over, landing halfway down your calves. You shrieked when you saw Clint had perpetrated this act. He half-smiled at you. You pursed your lips together in a girly pout as you looked up at him.
"Rise and shine, Icicle," Clint said.
You muttered something, then sat up.
"Usually, people who give me rude awakenings get turned into popsicles," you growled.
"I brought coffee."
"You're forgiven! Gimme, gimme, gimme!"
Clint laughed warmly as he handed you your coffee. You gratefully took a sip and smiled at Clint. His half-smile turned into a full one as he took a drink from his own cup of coffe

"Look, I don't know what goes on between you and frankly, I don't want to know," he started. "But I need to know if you're still able to carry out your mission should the worst arise."
"I can continue to help keep his stress levels down. But if push comes to shove, I will NOT kill him," you replied, determined to keep your resolve strong.
"Speaking of which, the glass tube down the hall?"
"About that we needed to prepare for the absolute worst. You've seen the video archives. You know what the Hulk can do if he gets out."
"It's cruel! Even if the Hulk does get out, there really isn't much, if anything, that we can do that would stop him. And given the Hulk's resilience against even a semi at full speed, I think he would survive the fall if he
Bruce X Reader-EighteenLater on, Bruce had changed back into himself. Luckily, Tony had spare clothes in the tower. You were all exhausted, cranky and filthy from the day's battle. But now you were all sitting in a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, eating shawarma and drinking Coke. The circle around the table went in the order of Thor, Tony, Bruce, you, Clint, Natasha, and Steve. No one spoke, which was probably a good thing. You all just ate and drank as the proprietors cleaned the rubble around the restaurant. To an outsider, this would be the funniest scene ever. But to all of you, it was just a nice way to relax after saving the world. You guys had slapped a muzzle and some cuffs on Loki, just to add insult to injury (of his pride, to be specific), and stuck him in one of the more secure rooms of Stark Tower and surrounded him with armed SHIELD agents. You still weren't sure what shawarma was,Bruce X Reader-Eighteen2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
