A meme...1: Slept naked / nude?A meme...1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I dislike it, but have fallen asleep that way inadvertently.
2: Favourite food?
Anything with dough and filling of some type. Lately it's been English pasties (available at a trashy convenience store here in Eugene, oddly enough)
3: Do you like Nutella?
It's good. Marmite and Vegemite are pretty good too, most Americans can't get around the idea of eating a yeast-based spread on bread or bagels...
4: Prefer natural juice or soda?
Either one.
5: Flirt?
I was known to be one at one time. I have one person that I love and don't see a need to flirt.
6: Who was the last person you said "love you" to?
Serena, who else do you think I'd say that to?
8: Do you like fruit?
Yes
9: Do you take any medication?
More than most people should.
10: Is there sickness?
Not sure what you mean, but I have mental and physical disorders...

Last year, I gave up on my teeth after realizing that my dentist and hygeinist were c

Not a puppet on a string
Nor a thing to abuse
Not a helpless little child
Nor a hardened criminal
I am a human being
A child of the universe
A person dragged through hell
Who came out much the worse
Yet goes on day by day

LifeThe life of a human being can be like the life of a pet goldfish in an undersized bowl that gets tapped and moved frequently, unfortunately all too common.Life1 year ago in Emotional More Like This
One can experience:
Torment and trauma.
Disrespect and distasteful behavior.
Lies and loathsomeness.
Mistreatment and misinformation.
Bad vibes and bad company.
False ideals and false accusations.
Unreasonable expectations and unacceptable treatment.
Abuse and agony.
Inhuman and inept treatment.
Being a lost soul or a lost cause.
Or any and all of the above.
Thus many of us live a life comparable to those of our piscine residents of glass globes, vases and tanks.

Party Crasher: Chapter 1Party Crasher: Chapter 11 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Bang, bang, bang... the sound of an automatic gun echoed down the streets. Sirens sounded. Shrill cries pierced into the night. Blood dripped off a nearby bench at a steady pace. You couldn't really hear it over all the chaos, but my brain assigned it a rhythm.
Drip, drop. Drip, drip, drop. Drip, drop. Drip, drip, drop. Drip, drop.
Suddenly, after what felt like hours, the gun sounded no more. The screams had already begun to lessen, but now they came to a complete stop. What had happened?
Moments ago, nothing could have gone wrong. It was just another highschool party. What had happened?
We were just sitting outside,
Nature of bad emotions seems to be changing?I'm not in a great mood now (frustrated about virtually ALL clothes that fit my taste being made for someone with a normal or short torso and long limbs when I have a long torso and short limbs, I don't see how clothes companies can get away with targeting Hollywood beauty ideals when they can't get away with marketing specifically to one race, color or creed, and I got called a fag for buying a CD of New Age piano player George Winston), but I took it a lot better than I have in the past.Nature of bad emotions seems to be changing?1 year ago in Journal Scraps More Like This
Things seem to be getting better in that regard... I hope they are anyway.
(my reply to the person using a homophobic stereotype against my taste in music: "So does listening to crappy Top 40 pop or gangsta rap make you an alpha male?" [person shrugs and facepalms] "I didn't think so. Glad I could help.")

Good tripThe trip ~Serena84 and I took to the Oregon Coast today (April 28, 2012) was fabulous, we did a lot of walking on beaches, shopping in secondhand stores and the historic Old Town area where we were, saw some abandoned buildings (including a 1980s-era fancy restaurant called the Bay Bridge that we couldn't get close to and a flood-ravaged mini-mall that had police cars parked out front so we couldn't get ANY pics), and while we do not want to live on the Oregon Coast, it felt great to be in a place where NO ONE knew us or recognized us, we blended in well since we picked a day when a lot of Asians and people wearing all black were in the area. Such a shock to come back and seem like we were under scrutiny by the homeless and our neighbors.Good trip1 year ago in Journal Scraps More Like This
I bought some loose tea, incense, gourmet olives, pickled garlic and pickled peppers of different kinds along with three cartons of Gauloises cigarettes, two discount-price black leather vests, a "Heavily Medicated For Your Protection" T-shirt, so

A Simple Conversation."What a freak."A Simple Conversation.1 year ago in Profiles More Like This
I saw the girl standing in front of me, glaring, her words hateful and malicious. Blue eyes glistened in the lighting, screaming emotions. Dark, purple circles lined her eyes, obviously adding to her pale physical appearance. Her attitude was more than a bit acrimonious, and the words she spewed where venomous and painful. She sighed pitifully as I continued to watch her, her shoulders dropping in defeat.
This girl was worn and tired, obviously feeling beaten and defeated by the pressure of the world around her. She raised her fingers to her temples, rubbing them in light circles, her arms shaking. I glanced at her sagging,

I first met Mia at Shadowness at least a year ago from this posting as a Moderator and Staff Support member of this Art Community. She was somewhat rawer and less defined in her Photography, but like every great artist of subtle brilliance, Mia is becoming exponentially more highly skilled in her present chosen field of enjoyment. She has not only a natural eye for imagery, but also a well chosen variety of interests both within and outside of Photography, which keeps her offerings interesting and intriguing as the layers of the artist's creative heart are slowly revealed.

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
And the people in the houses
All went to the university,
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same,
And there's doctors and lawyers,

And they all look just the same.
And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry,
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university,
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.
And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

Regret that painThe way we talk, so mean so violent.Regret that pain1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Hurting people with your words made that boy become silent.
Defiant with his words, like dam is this really what I heard.
He try to stay calm and keep his cool, but inside is where I lose it.
Trying to tell myself don't lose it, you choose it.
Choose not to snap, break his back, and then soon after choose to regret that.
I bit my tongue, swallowed my pride, soon after wiped A tear off my eye.
They said leave don't come back, Only one time I looked back and said,
How can she do me like that.
