Ever feared that your precious little icons could possibly slip and fall down on the default dock's shiny, slippery surface? Well, fear no more, as Shelved gives you a simple, sleek and solid wooden alternative! It is based on the shelves from Newsstand and iBooks, and holds your icons in place on a crisp and elegant wooden board that looks especially well in combination with dark wallpapers.

Shelved comes in two sizes, a normal and a wide version. The wide dock extends all the way to the left and right edges of the iPhone's screen, while the normal one leaves a bit of free space to the sides (as seen in the preview image). The difference is just a matter of taste unless you keep five icons in the dock (like me), in which case I'd strongly advise you to use the wide version.

To apply, simply copy the folder(s) matching your screen resolution to your device's Themes folder and activate it through WinterBoard. Enjoy! :D

The icon set used in the preview is Glaciens HD.

I stumbled upon this beautiful and clean Twitter icon on Dribbble [link] and so I decided to tweak the colors a little bit as well as the bird. Here's what I came up with.

It's in .icns format so it's ready to run on Mac OS X and If you are a Linux user grab the 512px PNG here: [link] :D

I hope you guys like it and don't forget to follow me on Twitter for some previews and the 'making of' of some icons =D
