My Buddies mom is a pretty big fan of HIM and Ville, so I painted up some shoes for her!

I came across a set of uncirculated $2 bills working Black Friday at my weekend job and you have no idea how tickled I was. So I folded up half of the set as a Xmas arrangement to give away to one lucky winner from my Facebook fan page.

One of a kind mermaid sculpture. Sold.

The mother is named Arya and the baby is Nymeria. I named them after a favorite character from The Game of Thrones and her pet wolf. She is more of a siren than a mermaid and I gave her a more primitive look with a fish-like face with random scales on parts of her body.

She is hardwired with a brass armature. I do not fill my sculptures with aluminum foil, ever. Aluminum expands when heated so that can damage the clay.

They were both sculpted with polymer clay. Arya was hand painted and blushed using heat set oil paints and wigged with Tibetan lamb wool. Nymeria is encased in epoxy resin. Arya is adorned with a necklace of tiny seashells and iridescent micro beads. They come with an oyster shell I collected, cleaned and decorated.

From head to tip of the tail she stretches out to 10" long. She is hand signed with my signature and a number at the back of her head.

Official photos taken by Natalie Terra.

My very first one of a kind sculpture. I named her Arya and the fetus fish egg is Nymeria (named after one of my favorite characters from the Game of Thrones and her pet wolf).

It's been a rollercoaster ride with this sculpture. I'm sure some of you know that this was my second attempt because I failed miserably with the first mermaid. Both her and the fetus were sculpted with polymer clay.

I wanted to give Arya a more primitive look and fish-like face. She's more of a siren than a lovey, dovey mermaid. My husband finds her creepy actually.

Nymeria is encased in epoxy resin, which was not an easy task. I ended up using 6 layers and had to spend hours sanding it down to a ball. This was the best sphere I can come up with haha..

Many, many hours have been invested in this project, 40+ hours over a span of 3 weeks. I have sold the pair so look out for my next mermaid which I'm also planning on selling.

I will have my friend take better pictures in daylight sometime this week so I'll post those up too.

i'm making little jack boxes to give to isaac's teacher and aids. i like to fill their goody boxes with more expensive chocolates like ghirardelli squares and lindt truffles.

i made a template for the box out of poster board. i'm made a template for gravestone sleeves for the ghirardelli squares and printed out "RIP" stickers for them. i printed out red eyeballs on transfer paper and wrapped the lindt truffles along with an outside layer of red tulle fastened with clear rubber bands. the box is completed with a leaf and curled pipe cleaner. :D

the top and middle pictures are the same butterfly just at a different angle. this butterfly is a gift to my dear friend donna :iconlackasleep:.

the 2 dragonflies at the bottom are gifts to my mother in law vickey and her cousin my aunt trudy.

both are original designs by won park :iconorudorumagi11:. on a scale of 1-4 with 1 being easy and 4 being very difficult: i give them each a 3.

this is a gift for my little nephew gabriel who just started kindergarten. i will be making another fish to couple with him but i'm not sure if i'll be making the same fish. this little guy took me over an hour to complete with lots of intricate foldings.

this is an original design by the genius won park :iconorudorumagi11:. of course my fish does not look nearly half as good as his-- he is amazing! on a scale of 1-4 with 1 being easy and 4 being very difficult: i give it a 4.
