Here is the end result of this beautiful archer , which is brought to paper by zhefiroth. The original model is 54cm, so it's reduced to 4 pages per sheet at the end measuring about 26cm and is printed on 90gsm paper in photographic quality. It is a model that can not miss in your collection and much less if you're a fan of LOL (I'm not, and I still love it ), but be careful because it is a fairly complex model somewhat difficult . We use some acrylic paint to cover the small details of the assembly also to highlight the gold details , finally a layer of enamel spray matte and some glossy transparent varnish .

That's a life size scale model of M-8 Avenger rifle from Mass Effect games. Placed inside of a cabinet made from plexiglass, aluminium beams and a wooden board, in order to give it a chance to survive a few years. I made it as a birthday gift for a friend of mine. I hope he likes it! I hope you all like it! Model was designed by Julius Perdana and can be find at: [link] .
again a part with a lot of pieces the first five screenshots are again the pieces which are for the hip
i promissed that i make a few photos of this boosters well, these are a bit more complex as the others but base on the same technique
first i cut them out and build the single rings i also removed the tabs for the inside ring quite useless for me at the fourth photo you can see the final pieces because the sheets are designed for colored cardboard paper there are no tabs for the bottom piece where the peak as to be attached on so i just colored a little paper piece with black marker and glued it on top (you can see it at the left piece)
then i put some glue at the inside of the tube and put it on top of the inside ring after it's dry, i add the peak quite simple, if you know how it works
piece overview 1 as always, here are all pieces what you need for the hip
po2 again one of those problems when you work with normal paper to combine this pieces i just add a little tab at the backside and cut two lines into the base piece
po3 this one took me really long to figure out first i thought the smaller piece has to be attached to the hip base but that doesn't work because the black flat pieces where all the parts has to be attached fit exactly to the hip base so this was the only solution
i scratched the color where this pieces has to be combined
At last, here is the test result Katarina by It is a fairly complex model with many accessories and definitely fun to build. It is not recommended to use less than 100gr paper, because it has fragile parts like wrists, knees and ankles . This test was done with 75-80gr paper to 2 pages per sheet in normal quality and measures about 20 cm.
Here you can see the different angles of the model after applying a layer of sealant Crafts (too bright for my taste )
Pepakura, its a pain in the ass yet so meditative. This I did during my x-mas break in 2011, I just did a few coat of resin and sanding on the mask, helmet is still waiting for its love and attention.
Note: My custom masks and occasional Pepakura is just a side a hobby I do once in a blue moon and rarely finish due to all the photo and video work I actually do. I humbly request to Please not ask me for files as they are not mine to share. I used Google and sites like the 405th to find my file and this method has served me well in the past. Thanks from the photobum
Hell yeah after three and a half months of hard work one month 3d editing and Pepakura cutting, two and a half building time i'm finally done
this was a really sick project and i'm apologize for the long waiting time but here is that, what you are all (ore at least a few) waiting for the final version of the Clap-Trap and without being arrogant i'm fucking proud of it
-IMPORTANT EDIT!- i noticed that a lot of people are irritated of the parts in the pdo file (top and left side) these pieces are garbage and useless i designed the model in that way, that you don't need them for building, they exist just because i need the taps for the open sides.
why you don't need them? the most of the pieces are used to close the parts but because you have to glue them together anyway, they are useless and why waste time to cut and money for ink for over 100 pieces
you also may notice that they are also complete parts like the lens ore the shoulder plates don't think about them in the building process i re-edit the model several times, re-import the edited pieces into the pdo and moved the old sheets out of the printing range.
that's also the next point all this pieces on the top and left will be NOT printed so don't worry, you get everything what you need in the right way
file description: the file contains three pdo files one with texture and folding lines one with texture and without folding lines and one white version with folding lines
so you need again the Pepakura Viewer what you can get here
all three pdo's are not protected so if you have the Designer, you can edit the model in the way you want
the file also include the original texture as .jpg and .psd (to change the colors) and two others textures one from jacob's cove (from the Dr. Ned addon)
and an instruction for the modifications
to download the model click on the download button on the right side you can thank dA for, that i can't write the direct link anymore
further model description: the model will come on 65 pages with over 400 parts so be warned, it's not an easy one
if you have problems ore stuck pls ask me here ore in the Papercraft Forum from (thx for support guys )
what's left ? just to say have fun
p.s. send me a link of your build ore wip version i will feature it here
