made this for the "deviantArt Spooky Craft Contest"

what is halloween ?
if you search at the wikipedia page you will find no direct hint what it is and where it comes from.

one definition that has prevailed is, to scare the bad demons away to get a good start into the new year. at least it's the one for, what we have in germany called "fasching"

the idea to create a mask for halloween is not very new but my objective was to build one that even scare the shit out of the badest bed- and wardrobemonsters

if i reached this goal, well decide on your own :)

P.S.
it's paper and yes the jaw can be moved

p.s.s.
i'm not a cosplayer, so I feel a bit sheepish about it, to upload this ^^;
so sry about the improvised background and pose ^^;

(building time: 2 weeks with three attempts)

Whitetail Deer bust

Might/might not release this for prints, let me know if you'd be interested. :> I actually like how it came out. the antlers made it.

*EDIT* Entered into the Wacom Dreams contest.

Whitetail deer are my totem animal. They're quiet, alert, playful, and so in tune with everything around them, how could you not aspire to be like them, personality wise?

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Based on Prophecy of Cetanu: Predator Apocalypse Storyline written by Mike Loh. You can read here: [link]

These are for sale on Etsy: [link]

These are the faces of our Apocalypse. Each representing an end to our existence. Pale Green Death, the White Horsemen representing the Conqueror, Famine in Black and Blood Red War.

This is what the Apocalypse means to me and these are the various path that lead us to our Doom!

Each of the four Masks are custom made and hand sculpted. Each are molded then cast in Resin Fiberglass.

All are hand painted with Airbrush using model paints.

Mask artist: Michael Loh :iconuratz-studios:

This one is for the "So I herd u liek progress? A Fan Art Contest"!! :la: You can find the article right here: [link]

So this was a lot of fun. Finding a fanart piece I did and felt like revamping was tricky, ended up going far back into art I made and rather forget at this point, but it's allll part of the progress, right? So yeah, I landed on a piece I made in 2005:

Good times :lol: Anyway, my re-interpretation/revamp is obviously the drawing you're viewing!

It's a fanart of Rapunzel, the way I pictured her when reading the Grimm Fairy tales - not the Disney version :) I kept the same format as I put it in 2005 and played with the hair like I did then. I remember trying to touch the 'Art Nouveau' style when working on the 2005 version (I failed, but that's okay :aww:), and so I kept that thought somewhat in mind while working on this 2011 version!

I'm pleased with it! Hope you all enjoy as well =D

There's always room for Jello.... but not when it's a Jello Prank!

Thought I'd take the popular office prank to a whole new level... a gaming level :D
