I wanted to make fudge and most recipes that I found involved cooking sugar and sugar thermometers which I didn't want to do and I don't own a sugar thermometer so I found a recipe that didn't involve either and I have made some variations on it and I made a tutorial. This one is for chocolate fudge, but it can be altered for other flavours.

I quite enjoyed making this so I might actually make the Pocky tutorial that I have been promising for a while.

This is not my recipe. I adapted it from the one on this website: [link]
:bulletpurple: The recipe makes about 65 sticks, but it depends on the thickness of your sticks.
:bulletpurple: There are other ways to decorate the sticks. I've also tried using icing sugar, flavouring and water which worked well and I have also ground up sugary powdery sweets like Refreshers and Parma Violets added icing sugar and water which also worked.
:bulletpurple: I apologise for the spelling mistake of refrigerate; I can't change it now as I merged all the layers and can't do anything to the text.
:bulletpurple: The zest is not necessary I replaced it with Vanilla Essence and I prefer the taste.

My Chocolate Battenburg Recipe

When making buttercream i never use a recipe, i always go by eye and taste so had to find out a buttercream recipe from one of my books for measurements for you so if you make this you may have a better one to you, this one is only a guide

none of us are really that keen on marzipan so decided to make a chocolate version instead

If you have any questions feel free to ask

A recipe for chocolate (fudge) cake I found God knows where ages ago and been using ever since with very slight alterations.

if you like, you can also cut it in half horizontally and put some cream in it if you find it somewhat dry.

These things are SERIOUSLY adorable, but really sticky to deal with as far as the dough. Made this all the time as a kid, LOVED them, but due to lack of time, haven’t made them in…a very long time…

No photos this time, just a rendition of the cookies. lol

:bulletpurple:I brought pastry as I have no idea to make it or the time, but it is probably better if you make your own.
:bulletpurple: I used pasta instead of baking beans and they did slide around a little bit so I wouldn't recommend using them.
:bulletpurple: Don't eat half of the pie in one day; you will feel the after effects the next day and you might have nightmares about pies.
