The Third Night~Clint + Natasha~The Third Night2 years ago in Romance More Like This
This is the third night Clint has sat here. Up in the rafters, perched on thin pieces of steel and metal, built above the stage. This is the third night he's brought his bow and set it aside, because what's the point? He won't use it. Not now.
This is the third night he's lied to himself. The third night he's told himself, you're gaining intel, little chunks of information and evidence that will help SHIELD. The third night he's crumpled the piece of paper in his hand, sighed, and tossed it in the trash barrel. He'll be gaining no secret details tonight. Just more of that delicate, overpowering light, that soft, trembling music, and the push and flow of her body.
The first night he was truly intending to take her. He would take some part of her past, something he could use, if he didn't actually take her life. But then he got himself ready, positioned himself in his nest, tested the strings, selected an arrow, and the music turned on.
Clint has never been a classical
The Avenger's Trio: Love Within Love: Ch. 1Tony Stark was working in the lab with his newly appointed partner Bruce Banner. Tony had on a pair of black jeans and a black buttoned up cotton shirt. His hair was the same as usual, spiked up and a little off to the side. His goatee was trimmed neatly, and what was weirder was that Bruce even noticed how well dressed he was, especially for a man that wanted to research nanobot technology. Bruce, himself, was wearing a white buttoned up dress-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. His hair a curly mess as always. The Avenger's Trio: Love Within Love: Ch. 13 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Stark." Someone from the threshold of the lab said.
When Tony looked up from his hunched over form, he saw Steve Rogers standing there in a blue t-shirt and brown slacks. An irritated look on his face.
"What does Captain Sparkle want, now?" He sounded a bit annoyed, and went back to work. He wasn't in the mood for Steve's usual jealous acts. Bruce looked up and simply sighed and continued to work.
Steve rolled his eyes at him and saw Bruce look over at them from the corner of his

Tony is not sure where to look. Should he be looking down at the grave or up at the sky? He shakes his head and focuses his eyes on the small picture of Steve on the tombstone.
"I feel stupid talking to you, I never believed this kind of crap. It's not like I'll have the time to regret it anyway, so I might as well do it. It's a little less painful."
His eyes are getting watery behind his sunglasses and Tony glances away from the picture.
"I still- It's been 4 months, for 3 and a half of those months I almost didn't move from the front door, hoping you'd come in. And the rest of the time I was drowning myself in scotch. I know how much you hated my drinking, if you really are somewhere out there you must be pissed at me. I'm sorry, Steve.

And now I will bring down your thunder.

"What are you doing, Anthony?"
"Playing video games, you want in? We're on Mario Kart now, but we still have Halo and Portal to go through." Tony Stark spoke hurriedly to his husband, eyes glued to the screen. He was so close to winning, but Clint was coming up fast behind him, and he knew he had at least one green shell.
Loki perched himself on the arm of the sofa, eyebrows drawn together. It was happening all too often for his liking. Although he had been living on Midgard for a while now, he was ashamed to say he had picked up very little about their technology, mostly content to use his magic for everything he needed, and asking JARVIS to help him with anything else. He knew he should probably be taking a more proactive role in learning about how his Husband, and his friends, lived, but it seemed so very different from what he

Clint could feel his control was gone. Taken from him by the man before him. Or was he really a god like he claimed? He didn't know. He really didn't care what Loki called himself.
What he did know was that whatever the green clad man had done to his mind... it wasn't total or done. It almost felt incomplete.
He watched through his slightly clouded eyes as Loki moved from station to station. Looking over the shoulders of the various people that were working hard on the tesseract. But there was an almost manic quality to his movements. Like he was the one being hunted.
He walked over to the man he now worked for.

"So, you want to be free? Fine. I bet with you, Bruce wants the same! You didn't let him out for a week, do you think that's fair?" Clint stood there with his hands on his hips and looked angry at Hulk, who returned the look with crossed arms.
"Hulk and Banner have deal, Banner stays inside Hulk, Hulk helps Avengers!"
"Oh, and because of that deal Bruce hasn't the right to be out sometimes?", the Archer shook his head in disbelief. "Do you know what, Jade Jaw? You act like a little child, who doesn't want to go to bed."

They reached the Throne room, and began pushing at the door, making very little progress, small as they were, even together.
The guard by the door smirked to himself. These boys. How Odin handled them, he didn't know. Slyly, arm barely outstretched from their usual position, he pushed at the door with one hand, helping it open whilst allowing the boys to believe it was their own feat of strength.
The tiny princes beamed at each other as the door slid open much easier now, their little feet running at it to create momentum.
"Told you Loki! Told you i was strongerer than you thought!"
Once inside the golden room, the boys stopped, for a mere moment. Some
We all need a hero. When my brother was a young kid, he loved superheroes. Seriously, he had DVDs of Batman, Spiderman, you name it and it was his. I'm pretty sure they were his favourite thing of all time. And it's easy to see why - kids love to be inspired by these things, to become something that they're not and impress everybody. But as I grew older, I started realising that there is more to why superheroes are so loved than what a child's perception is.We all need a hero.3 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
Every superhero is an outcast, even if it's not directly obvious. They stick out like a sore thumb, and nobody wants to be friends with them. This is an obvious trait in Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. He is small and scrawny unlike the rest of the men around him who are joining the army, and is desperate to belong. Take Peter Parker, aka Spiderman. He's the nerd. Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. The genius billionaire who thinks on a wavelength above normal humans. Even before they become superheroes, they're different. But when they find their alt

The sky above Asgard was perhaps more complex than this one, with the daylight swirling away like a dancer's petticoats to reveal stars and nebulas gleaming like facets in an enormous black crystal. But, there were no clouds in Asgard. Not really.
Thor rather liked clouds. People said snowflakes could never be exactly alike, each one a perfect example of uniqueness. But Thor thought these people rather short-sighted as clouds were exactly the same. After all, all ice can do in the end is melt. Clouds had potential. For rain. Snow. Mist.
And, of course, storms.
Clouds were ever changing. Influenced by a thousand meteorological factors. Each one not only completely individual but constantly changing and melding to better fit with the shape of the world. Wispy cirrus and misty cirrostratus. Woolly cirrocumulus, remarkably akin to the fleece of a lamb. Altocumulus which formed in patches and looked almost like an upside down range of snow-capped hills.
Steve RogersSteve Rogers is just one of those guys who doesn't fit in - like all other superheroes before their lives are turned around. He was short, weak, his hair looked greasy and clung to his head like a bad dream. He was all skin and bone with no muscle mass. Naturally none of the girls wanted to date him. We can tell that he was clearly rejected many times when he was younger - just the very vibe we pick up from him suggests a severe lack of confidence. This is why he's so nervous around Peggy. In the car ride with her, we can see just how terrified he is of the opposite gender. Peggy is treating him differently to all the other girls he has ever talked to. Bruce looked up smiling slightly as he saw the photo pinned to the board in front of him. Tony had pinned it there after Clint had come down with it, babbling on about how Natasha had actually been caught smiling. But, currently his knees were wobbly with nerves.
He was sat sheepishly at the side whilst Hawkeye, Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man trawled through the suit department of a high-end store. Steve, not being one for ostentation, had recommended a slightly less upmarket shop but Tony had insisted, saying if you were going to get a suit then you might as well get the best one possible. He had also offered to foot the bill, knowing that Thor didn't actually have any money of his own. Or at least, none that was considered acceptable coinage in this realm.
The store attendants were looking at the ragtag group nervously, particularly unnerved by the burly blonde who was carrying a big ornate mallet for apparently no reason.
