It suddenly dawned on me that everything around me had disappeared. Whiteness was all I could see. Everywhere I turned, everything was entirely white. I looked again and again; over and over. A diminutive black speck (or maybe my imagination) appeared from what seemed miles away. I took casual steps forward despite the unease advancing in my gut.
Hours? Days? I couldn't tell how long it was that I have walked, but my legs were aching for sure.
I definitely knew there was something there. It was growing gradually larger. Curiosity sprung all across my body! This adrenaline this- this excitement! Running forward, I ignored the throbs in my calves. The view abruptly amplified, same for a strange sound that I could only assume was wind. Whatever it was ahead, had to be massive and very dark as I could see from here. I felt the oxygen leave my legs and my lungs so unexpectedl
