The Enderman's Return - Part 10"Mother?!" Amy realized at once that it was me. And she was quite furious about it, it seemed. "End, is that...you?"The Enderman's Return - Part 103 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"Who else would I be?" I questioned her, though my eyes never left the great, glorious dragon that circled the white island we sat upon. The white stone just beyond the obsidian platform we stood on, the black towers with glowing orbs that fed the Ender Mother strength. Beyond the island was nothing but the deep, vast void. Almost purple in color, seemingly the same no matter which way one looked.
The humans were quick to snap out of shock. Amy's weapons weren't enough for everyone, but those who could grabbed up at least one weapon and one piece of armor. One poor fool screamed in what I imagine might have been a battle cry and charged forth; I watched in shock as others like myself started appearing. Chasing the human. I cringed in horror as he struck down one, two of my brethren. Three. Finally, he was stopped. I watched, unsure of what to do, as my kind tossed the hu

The Enderman - Part 7I trembled with fear as block after block was removed over my head. I could hear them, getting closer and closer. How did they know where I had gone? Why were they so persistent? I knew that they only wanted the chest, though...what happened to me was none of their concern. They would kill me and take the items that I had gained from turning in corpses of their kind, though I was fairly certain that part was a mystery to them. The Enderman - Part 74 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
I realized how foolish I had been. I could have easily set down the chest and kept running, that would have at least slowed them down. Now, I was trapped. Above me were three humans, ready to kill me the second they got down here. Below me was...as far as I knew, nothing. But that was the problem; I didn't know what was down below, so teleportation in that direction was horribly risky.
I paused my thoughts as I heard a familiar groan. Zombie? Oh no... "No, go away, they'll kill you, too!" I called out, unsure of whether he would hear me or not. It was far too lat
The Enderman's Return - Part 3Dawn finally rose. I had been boredly scratching at the wood flooring of the little hut, staring absentmindedly out the window. Amy had stopped talking after she spotted a Creeper passing by the small window. I wondered vaguely why she seemed so afraid of them, but then I remembered that I was human now. Creepers would explode before me any chance they got.The Enderman's Return - Part 34 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Though I'm sure Amy saw me as a boring, silent human, my mind was churning. How would I get back to being myself again? Was Herobrine behind this? How would I survive as a human? All I knew was lingering in the shadows and staying as far away from humans as possible.
And I didn't think it was possible to avoid myself, at this point.
"I think it's safe to head out now," Amy said, climbing to her feet. "Come on, End, you can help me watch for that creeper. It's probably lying in wait for us to come out..."
I stood as well, and another thought crossed my mind. How was I supposed to defend myself? I no longer had my height and my streng

Training lasts forever when the fight is nigh.
Bloodshed, devastation, loss,
Death coating eyes with its eternal gloss.
Those that remain only grieve
Why do the best ones go so soon?
Black armor glinting silver under the moon.
Was that what you last saw
Before your fall?
Battles are nigh
Time is not healing
Death seems appealing
All the good ones die
But just when you reach the brink
Nothing cures the madness like a good strong drink.
The Enderman's Return - Part 4The moon crawled across the sky. The small group living in this town were happy to have me; I refused to lay down in one of their beds, though it was impossible to explain why. They, however, took his words as an offer to take the night shift in their watchtower. The Enderman's Return - Part 44 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
I had climbed up onto the roof of the tower, letting the moonlight wash over me. I still found it hard to believe that I was human. And yet, none had questioned the fact that my eyes looked like they had before; deep purple, a menacing color. They didn't glow in the dark like they once had, but regardless...did most humans have odd traits?
I thought about it more as I stretched out on the wooden roof of the tower, making sure to keep an eye on the area around the wall of the town. It was a quiet night, thankfully. I could see a few zombies near the wall, but they didn't make any attempt to breach it.
Something had indeed escaped my notice, though. I didn't realize it until his amused voice came from behind me. "Nice night, isn
The Enderman's Return - Part 6The 'base' was little more than a wooden house tucked away in the woods, a bit off the beaten paths. I didn't see any of the interior, but I could guess that it wasn't all that great. We were put in the cellar, Amy and I. She was tightly bound and put in the corner, while I was tied securely to a chair in the center of the room. All of our things were taken; weapons and food alike. The Enderman's Return - Part 63 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
They left after tying us down, obviously going to prepare for their interrogations. Or perhaps gorging themselves on Amy's stockpile of cooked meats and apples. I was a bit disgusted at the thought, as usual, but turned my mind away from my own concerns. I attempted to twist the chair around so I could look at Amy, but to no avail.
The cellar was dark, though. Not only could I see quite clearly, I was getting used to using my sixth sense in this body. I was able to utilize the shadows to get a 'look' at Amy properly; I could see that she wasn't hurt too much, but she was obviously scared. Even if Amy talked

Bitter Taste - GiD"Well now where do you think you're going?" Jack stopped cold as he heard the voice behind him; seconds later, before he had any time to react, a hand wound its way around his body, clamping tightly over his mouth, sending Jack into a wave of panic. He had been on his way out the door after waking up and getting ready to go meet some friends. His parents were out of town for the weekend, and he had absolutely no idea how anyone had managed to get into his house. "Surprised?" The man asked, pulling Jack backwards into the den, where all of the blinds had been closed. I threw him off. Rage made me forget about the wound in my side. I went after him, punch after punch. I was actually landing hits, one after another. A total of seven before he managed to block one. The fury that boiled over within me was definitely helping. I grabbed the arm he had blocked with, using that to throw him aside. He tried to throw me back again, but I hid in the shadows and threw him forward.
Right into the arms of my waiting brethren. They engulfed him in mere instants, yet I knew it wasn't over. They were blasted aside, and Herobrine - bruised and bleeding slightly - spat at the ground in front of me. He was clearly hurt, and I was still angry.

They played with each other and cared for their little ones. They weren't the evil night-stalkers that humans thought they were. They loved each other, like humans loved each other.
Then I noticed that the wolves were disappearing.

I walked down the street listening to my music. I went at a normal pace, I wasn't in a rush. I wasn't planning on going anywhere, anyways. I watched the autumn leaves dance along the road, the wind as their guide. They marched into the park, so I followed. They parted into two at the foot of someone. I looked up to see, Hidan, looking at the sky from the bench. I sighed and turned to leave when someone grabbed my arm. I pulled my ear buds out and turned to them. Hidan had his hand on my shoulder, my face turned pink and I brushed him off. "Shikamaru, what are you doing here?" He asked, smiling brightly. I looked to my left and shrugged. "What, Akamaru got your tongue?" He laughed at his horrible joke. I rolled my eyes. "No." I walked away from him and slipped my iPod into my sweat jacket pocket. "Where you heade

"Herobrine!" I roared, landing beside the non-human and kicking out at him. With a simple spin, the freak avoided my attack and pulled Amy closer to himself, pinning her against himself. Taunting me with each step he took further away from me.
"Come any closer and she dies, End." He spat. "And here I thought you were worth something to me. But here you are, attached to this pathetic girl...I'll get rid of her for you. Everything will be better for the both of us. Don't you see? She hates you anyways. You're fighting against her. You can't take both sides in this war, End."
More explosions echoed out as I stared at Herobrine. He stared back. Amy squirmed as a drop of blood oozed from the spot where the pickaxe was b

Blank Dreams...Blank Dreams3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I wake up.
It's strange. I've been getting these blank dreams lately. Is there something wrong with me? I mean, it happens to other people but not all the time. Every time I close my eyes to rest, I wake up only remembering that I went to sleep. I tell my friends about it and they laugh, thinking I was on drugs or something. Even though they find it amusing, I feel worried. I don't remember the last time I dreamed. Dreaming... is now a myth to me.
As I wonder about my dreaming issue around the school halls, I bump into someone. "Ah, sorry..." I mumbled. As I looked up to see who it was, it was a pretty tall guy. He had platinum blond hair with a blue streak on it. It was accompanied with a pair of faded blue eyes that seems like they have no hope or life. As I took a closer look, I saw he had spacers in his ears. They were the spike ones. He also had two piercings on each upper ear. He seems imtimidating yet calm. No smile, no frown. Just a questionable expression.
Accident, Impulse, AffectionThere had been an orange moon hanging in the sky the night of the dance, the night she had met the man with the eyes the color of sweet red wine and hair as dark as the star studded night sky above; the man that had consumed her mind from the moment she saw him.Accident, Impulse, Affection4 years ago in Romance More Like This
She had not seen him at the start of the night. He'd remained, unperceived, in the corners of the Great Hall, drifting between the door he looked as if he wanted to flee through and the corner that beheld the most shadows in the room.
Once noticed, she studied him a while. He was not tall or of magnificent build; he did not even appear to have a healthy complexion. But the dark green dress robes he wore did not wash him out; rather, they had fit him well, and seemed only to add to the mysterious aura that swirled about him.
But his most striking feature was his eyes. If they were said to be the windows of the soul, these crimson gems bore the glow of a soul that held to the consciousness of life with almost fearsome tenacity. W

Everything came back into focus from a hazed, rainbow blur, and Loki found himself looking around what he was certain was the bifrost that had been destroyed when he fought Thor all those weeks ago.
Noticing his quiet, inquisitive look, Thor gave a bitter snort as Heimdall pulled the sword from its place. "As it turns out, time passes much slower on Earth than it does here. You have been absent from our lives for two years. We had plenty of time to recreate the bridge and the bifrost."
He tugged insensitively at the chains binding Loki's hands together as they started down the long path that would take them back to the palace.
As they grew closer to his old home Loki bega
